No clear signal - had to return!.......2006-06-08

It's a great design concept, but after a few days, the electronics in my office seemed to get the better of this product. I could only get noise and hiss. No matter how many times I "tuned" the headphones to the base unit, I could no longer pull in the audio signal from my CD player. I wound up returning it to SI, requesting a replacement. They sent me a check instead. Now I'm shopping around. Very unhappy with Sharper Image.

P.S.--Bought a very affordable pair from Radio Shack and have been pleasantly surprised by the quality!

Not True Digital - Plenty of Hiss - Not for Audiophiles.......2005-12-23

Don't be fooled by the product name. I'm not sure where the "digital" comes in on these headphones. Perhaps in the SRS component? These headphones do not provide the quality of digital transmission.

The 900MHz RF transmission is definitely analog and that is immediately apparent. You can hear hissing, the audio gets fainter as you get further away, and interference causes the normal analog artifacts. Do not plan to get the crystal clear audio you'd expect from digital transmission.

If you plan to watch analog TV or listen to AM/FM radio and sit in the same room as the transmitter, then I guess these headphones are okay. But if you expect CD quality audio or plan to listen from another room, then these will be sure to disappoint.

Such Speed Obtained.......2007-01-16

I have used this card in my Olympus 8080 camera and I am very happy with the results. I use the 8mp setting on the camera and this card holds a bit over 900 pictures. The speed it what really impressed me. The card that it replaced was only a 4x so I have noticed an incredible change in time between pictures.

Glad I took a chance........2006-10-14

I have to say that I'm usually pretty cautious about buying off brand, generic, no-name stuff. However, I had an old 1 Gig CF card that was slow as molassis in my Canon G6. With the old card I could take three or four pictures at the slow continuous repeating frame rate, about 1 every 0.8 seconds I think, before the card slowed it down to about 1 every 2.5 or so seconds.

This card lets me take about a dozen or more before that happens, which is great.

So, it's definitely faster. I don't know what 60x speed is versus my old card, but I'd guess it's at least 10 times faster.

I've shot about 200 pictures with it, and only filled it up about 30% at a time. I've written about 2 gigs to it total, just not at once. I've had zero problems with it so far.

So, for a little over half as much as the high speed 2 gig name brand cards, I'd recommend trying one.

Remember, all manufacturers have a failure rate, and we don't know what these guy's failure rate is yet.
