had a mini2 and loved it. Bought a Mini3 in the US and took home to UK. Images were blurred in parts. Spent time talking with Mustek support in Germany, Mustek support in UK, dealer in US and finally Mustek support in US. Gave up and threw the camera away - they were not actually interested in solving the problem, just in their processes, passing me on to someone else and making me do all the all work. totally infuriating.

This "camera" should be rated a -5...the adage "you get what you pay for" applies to every aspect of this camera. It's flimsy and problematic to operate, never mind that the soft ware crashed my computer and didn't include enough instructions to allow photo retrieval from the camera OR the computer. I actually threw the camera in the garbage.

This item is absolutely a waste of money and time. I bought it just to take pictures for ebay. Quick and dirty, as it were. Well, it is horrible for stills and cannot create a decent image in even good lighting conditions. Blurry and poorly lit. I only wish the rating system had something less than 1 star.

I bought this camera knowing it would not be the best, but i was greatly dissapointed. There is no flash, so unless if you are outside in the daytime, it doesnt work. The picutres are not of great qualtity. If i were you, I wouldn't waste my money on this

On the package, it states that it is compatible with Windows 98SE, ME, 2000 and XP. When I inserted the cd, it stated that it was only for Windows 98. However, with my Windows XP, the device works fine (and fast!) without any software downloads. I haven't used other card readers (so I have no basis for comparison) but I have no complaints about its performance.

I have a Dell XPS PC running Windows XP. I have USB2.0 drives. So this card reader should be plug and play, but it doesn't work at all with my PC. My recommendation is steer clear of this product.

Thought I had a good card reader until I got this one! It used to take me 20+ minutes to transfer 2 gigabytes of photos, but now I can transfer the whole 2 gigs in under 5 minutes! It's a great product.

Had issues with the speakers not working right away, and just after the limited warranty ran out after a year, it began to blink on and off, over & over & over. Customer service was useless. Repair would have been $150 so I just bought a better brand. Avoid any Princeton brand product.

Princeton Support is terrible.......2004-07-26

I didn't buy this particular model...I have the VL173 17 inch LCD. After only 15 months it started showing a column of vertical banding of pulsing lines. Princeton said that it was the beginning of failure and there was nothing they could do since it was 3 months off warantee. No advice, no offer to help...nada! My fault for buying from Princeton. Never again.
