As soon as I got this in the mail, I immediately set it up to test it out and all I can say is, nothing but perfection when it comes to this cable. Of course I didn't know that much about Network Cables but once I asked around everyone said go with CAT6 type of Network Cable. So I search and got a GREAT deal(Thanks To Parts Express) and couldn't be happier.

Now, please keep in mind that the only reason why I am using this type of Networking Cable is because I have it hooked up to my PS3 and my Xbox360 for online gaming. And believe me, it works perfectly with no lag or Connection Errors.

And with that being said, I would only recommend this type of Network Cable for people who plan to use it for:
- High Speed Internet Applications
- Online Gaming
- Streaming audio and video
- Home or small office networking

I had gotten this ethernet cable for my recently purchased Playerstation 3. I bought two, one runs from the computer to the living room and the other runs from the computer to my room. 50' easily covered this distance with cable to spare (My house isn't the largest house around thought). And since it's blue it sticks out nicely from the mess of wires behind my cable modem. Cat6 in addition allows my Playstation to achieve a faster internet connection (At least, that's what I'm told). I've had them for a little over a month now and the ends of the cable are in 'like new' condition with the small plastic piece that secures the connector to the outlet still intact.

Belkin Network Cable.......2007-02-11

After installing my new computer I was not able to connect to the internet. The error message that I was receiving usually indicates that the network cable is defective so I went to Amazon.com and selected the Belkin Snagless CAT6 Patch Cable hoping that it would solve my problem and sure enough it did. I was so happy to see the modem lights flashing after I made the connection from the modem to my computer.

Note that I'm reviewing the value, not necessarily the quality of the product.

The PowerShot A620 that I used this with has excellent battery life with Lithium or rechargeable Nickels, so, while the power adapter works well, it's not worth it unless you're doing a lot of shots or are doing a lot of flash-intensive work from a fixed location (near an outlet).

For about half the price, though, this product would feel much more justifiable for a purchase.
