This CD Album feels a lot cheaper and lighter than I expected based on "looks" (a lighter grade of cardboard than normal). Also, they didn't remove the plastic cut-outs from the insert pages, so that's an extra step you have to do. It does hold my discs OK but I'll be buying a sturdier one in the future.

It's great, and it will keep your cd's safe, but the material is plastic-like, and, well, don't drop it or you will find that one of the covers will break off.

Not very durable and not the best quality.......2007-02-07

The cardboard that it is made out of is not as thick as I thought it would be and the day I received it the spin cover (a thin piece of cardboard covered in fabric) of the box holder came off. I was able to glue the spin cover back on, but that should not happen. The binder works for the purpose it was designed, the quailty could be better in materials. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Looks Good - Gets a Little Dirty.......2007-05-10

I have purchased quite of few of these to hold my DVD collection. They do look better than your normal DVD holders. I would have given 5 stars but when I received them, they were dirty on the sides. And because of the material they are made of, you really can not get it off. On the shelf it does not matter, but that was my only issue wit this produt.

Pretty good with a few exceptions.......2005-11-16

Overall this is a pretty good product, but there are a few things you should know before purchasing it.

First of all, it's advertised as a 64-Disc CD Album - but there is no way that 64 discs will fit into it, unless each and every disc has no liner notes that go along with it - and even then, it's a bit of a squeeze. It's not that the discs don't fit into the sleeves - they do - it's that once you get them all in the binder, and then try to insert the binder into the case it comes with, it just doesn't fit. If you plan to put liner notes in with the CDs, don't plan on getting more than 50 or so to fit in.

Secondly, it is not a 3-ring binder like many CaseLogic products are, so once the CDs are in, you don't have the option of moving the pages around. I would recommend leaving an empty slot at the end of each page in case you get more CDs you want to put in, but there is already limited room for CDs in it.

Finally, the cloth lining on the case and binder is glued on - so if you have little kids and are looking for a really sturdy product, this one isn't for you.

Despite all this, I really do like them, and think they look quite sophisticated on my shelves - much prettier than the ugly black CaseLogic binders I used to have!

I purchased quite of few of these albums in the brown. However, now Allsop has decided to change the color and apparently.the brown is no longer available. So now I cannot match my previously purchased items.

Works very well as a way to condense DVD storage. Sturdy, aesthetically pleasing - not plastic-y at all. There are 21 pages with 2 DVD pockets and 1 cover pocket per page - so effectively you get 21 per unit unless you double up the covers too (I doubled up on series like the XMen trilogy, etc.) The downside is that the pages are not removable, thus if you like to keep things alphabetized, you will spend time moving covers and DVDs.

For storage with movie booklet only!.......2007-03-19

Very impressed with the quality of this item. Has three heavy wood sides so you know your DVDs won't get crushed if you stack these albums on their side. Dimensions are approximately 7 /12 x 9 1/4 x 4 inches. The catch is magnetic and we have had no problems with it popping open even storing ours with the binder/label up in a drawer. Note that you cannot add pages to this album. Each page consists of one side with a big clear plastic pocket for the movie booklet on one side and two black pockets on the back side. Not as useful if you don't have double DVD movies. Note that you cannot see the DVDs in the pockets so you cannot tell what movie it is without pulling the DVD out. We would not recommend this one for anyone who trades/swaps movies and does not have the movie booklet since it is difficult to tell what the movies are at a glance - you will need to come up with some other way of labeling them. 4 stars for quality of the product, 2 stars for ease of use.

Just a little fine print.......2006-10-24

These albums have twenty pages, each of which can hold 2 discs. So I'll need a few more than I planned. But they are really nice albums. The pages can be fully utilized unlike the other albums I've tried.

Great product.......2006-07-15

We have a ton of DVDs and we were running out of space. It was especially bad because of big DVD collections. We have all 22 disks from the old 'I Spy' TV series for example, which by itself took up a foot of shelf space. Then I saw these Allsop DVD albums. They are good looking, so no problem with having them in your living room, and can reduce the needed space by about 5 to 1. 40 DVDs can take up to 2 feet of shelf space, but the Allsop albums compress that down to less than 4 inches.

The guy who reviewed them and said they pop open bought a different product. He said his cases stored 64 disks. These store 40, and I have crammed them full with 40 disks and inserts for each one and never have they popped open. If you have lots of DVDs you can buy big expensive furniture or you can buy these. It's no contest.

One hint. If you are going to store series like we do, you'll want to put in inserts to tell you what episodes are on the disks. You can just take the insert from the original case, or copy it. We keep the old cases in a box in the garage in case we decide to give them away some day.

Buy one and try it. You'll probably do like we did and come back for more.

Small camera, very slimlined and easy to carry. I purchased refurbished and everything is working perfectly. I only wish the zoom was a little stronger, but overall an excellent camera.

This camera is well worth repairing.......2004-04-04

I bought the Canon Elph 370Z in 2000. After 3 years of heavy use the camera had to go in for servicing last summer because an error message (H) had appeared in the LED. The cost for repairs was about 1/3 of the original price. Several months later the same thing reoccurred and Canon fixed it free of charge. This is the first camera that I've ever had repaired. All my previous cameras have also eventually broke down from use. But this is the only one that I liked enough to have fixed. Photo quality is excellent considering the size of the camera, plus the convenience of APS. The quality of the camera is very good, too.

Wife loves it.......2004-03-22

My wife loves this camera. She uses it for scrapbooking and it takes good pictures. We like the APS because in one package you get Panoramic and the normal sized pictures. Plus the film is idiot proof in that you can only put it into the camera one way; and you can take the film out mid-way thru and put it back in and the pictures won't be used; and there is an indicator on the film that tells you if the filme has been developed yet or not. Pretty much an idiot proof camera.

I bought this camera in August 1998 after my Minolta 35mm X-700 was stolen. The best thing about this camera is the amazing pictures I've taken with it. After 15 years of using full manual settings with the very large and heavy Minolta, the automatic features and portability can't be beat for the picture quality. I can put it on my belt with the case that comes with it and hike the planet. I've taken this little wonder on numerous hiking trips in the Southwest. Never a problem since its so light weight and readily available on your waist for those shots that usually come up all of a sudden. I typically shoot 1 to 2 rolls a day on average 2 to 3 week trips. I've been doing this since I got it and the camera is finally showing the mileage of several thousand photos. The shutter doesn't always fire when the camera is turned on and I must close and re-slid the switch but it still works. I'm considering another one since I looked at the Canon Z3 but it doesn't have the lens quality of the 370Z. The one and only problem I've had with this camera is when I tried to get enlargements from the APS 25mm film. It just doesn't compare to 35mm once you enlarge beyond an 11 x 14 print. Otherwise, for the average user, this is a great camera for the price. I paid $285 plus tax back in '98 when it first came out. As far as that other reviewer saying that the shutter was delayed after hitting the button, the reason was probably low light. This camera has a built in feature of sensing the dim lighting conditions and slowing the shutter to allow more light to hit the film thereby slowing the shutter. I've gotten some blur in pictures with dim lights but it was only because I wasn't thinking about it and used an unsteady hand. This camera is definitely 5 stars, especially now that the price has dropped !

Not Great, but not bad either !.......2003-12-08

Small, convenient, and easy to use. Pictures are good. I had the Flashing H problem also. I took out the battery and the film. Turned the camera on, snapped a couple of shutter releases to drain any leftover power. Put the battery back in and loaded a new roll of film. The H went away. I had tried this a couple of times before; but I set the date and time prior to loading the film and the H was still there. I don't know if this will work for your camera, but it's worth a try.
