Apple iPod Classic 30GB.......2007-09-27
This is the 3rd generation of iPod that I have owned. At first I was very pleased that the price has come down somewhat since I paid $239 for this and several years ago I paid nearly $400 for just the color/picture iPod. Apple didn't take long to disappoint me when, less than a month after I purchased this, they discontinued it and was then offering the 80GB version for the same price! That being said, my observations are as follows:
1) Nice, sleek design. Very functional.
2) Easy to download or transfer videos from DVDs.
3) Battery life appears much longer than my previous generation iPod.
4) I've had this for about two months now and so far no problems. I know this is what people expect, but every single iPod I've owned, I have always experienced problems that required sending the unit back to Apple for repairs. That being said, buy an extended warranty.
5) Screen and casing does not scratch as easily as I expected based on other reviews I have read. As with all electronic items, just be a little careful.
6) Overall, I'm happy with this iPod, but it's difficult for me to recommend that anyone buys it since the price can drop significantly the next day making you regret your actions!

I love these and was delighted to get my own (and so is my son who doesn't have to share). You can load these things up with so much music and video. They are fabulous entertainment for every dull moment.
iPod 5.5 vs iPod Classic.......2007-09-26
I have this iPod 5.5Gen while my friend recently bought the new iPod Classic. I have compared the two side by side and I must say that the new Classic sports only a couple of new features against its predecessor. The price is quite a bargain though. The menu navigation on the old 5.5 is a little bit faster than the Classic. I bet this is because of the slideshow running in the background while navigating through the menu. The menus are admittedly very sluggish on the Classic as compared to the 5.5. Good points though are the "scratch-proof" surface, which I think is rather a compromise in looks for functionality. The coverflow concept is also nice but I just wished the hardware could keep up with refreshing the album art thumbnails while browsing. And don't forget to start downloading those album arts.
Back to the iPod 5.5. Well, this device has entertained me during long drives and has made me sleep for the past several months. It definitely never failed to do its purpose. I learned to love iTunes to make playlists and organize my music. But don't hesitate to use third party software like floola when you need to backup your stuff.
The bottomline is: if you are not one of the early jumpers when a new device is introduced, this device is perfectly cool for you. Honestly, I would've still bought this one now even with the iPod classic around.
Be cautious though, since this is a hard drive device. But I bet you already know that.

I originally bought this IPOD due to the fact that I am in the military and would like to be able to have the options of watching movies when I'm deployed, or listening to music at the gym. And it was great at first, but now it constantly freezes up, will not turn on, and if I would like to get it fixed, I am going to have to pay up to $100 dollars plus tax just to ship/diagnose it since it is older than six months but less than a year. I think that if I'm going to pay a couple hundred dollars for a product, they should at least have full warranty coverage for the first year. Oh and in case your wondering, after researching it, I have found out that my hard disk is shot and the whole IPOD needs to be replaced. So unless I decide to pay the shipping and handling fee, I have a $250 paper weight.

I love this device. It has made my entire music collection easily accessible. I don't know any better way to enjoy a music collection. Thanks APPLE for a great product!

After looking at the reviews, here, I decided to get this printer, and after a month it still works really well. Good prints, and relatively fast. It took a couple times of running the programming disk through, due more to my lack of expertise, I suspect. A good buy!

I'm really pleased with this scanner/printer. I wanted a cheap reliable printer, and I got a scanner to boot.
Its easy to use, doesn't use much ink. Excellent value for money. Fairly quick. The USB cable is a little diificulty placed(under the scanner panel) and the cable isn't very long. But that a minor problem.
I definantly recomend this , even if you just need a printer. Its still goot value.

I bought this charger with my digital camera almost two years ago, and I'm still using the same batteries. It charges within a few hours, and the batteries last and last. This Travel-Charger is very reliable and helps a lot while traveling through Europe because is supports 230 V sockets as well as 120 V sockets. It usually charges 2500mAh batteries within 3 to 4 hour. This is not a fast-charge because if you charge batteries too fast it may decrease their amount of possible charges. But you can still charge two sets of batteries within one afternoon.
A very good and cheap buy for such a reliable and multi-functional gadget.

I bought this speaker to help out my surround sound ystem.Every where else online, center speakers of similar ratings sold for twice as much. Needless to say I was happy to find this one. Although a little bigger than I would like, I'm very happy with the sound, design, and over all appearance. My system won't drive it to the limit, so I don't know how well it handles alot of watts, that would be the only reason I don't give it 5 stars.
This product is a definate buy.

Made to sit on a seat or floor but I purchased it to sit inside my center console compartment. It adds a lot of organization to a catch all area. This unit is cleverly made in that the compartments are movable to suit your storage needs. The walls are stiff and secured with generous velcro tabs. Configured several ways from two long pockets to six small pockets. Nice to use and I'm glad I found it. Reasonably priced and shipped fast.

The console fits perfectly between the two front seats of my Honday Odyssey, and holds EVERYTHING: my water bottle, tissues, nail file, notebook, pens, pencils, driving gloves, cell phone hands-free ear attachment, coupon book, handi-wipes for the kids, baggie of dog treats, book of crossword puzzles... and even more I can't remember. Everything is easy to spot with just a quick glance away from the road in front of me, and then easy to pick up while I'm driving. It's all low enough that I can climb over it with ease, if I need to get to the back seat (not while I'm driving, of course!). And the price was excellent! I'd recommend this to anyone without built-in storage between the front bucket seats.

Lux rating is the measurement used to indicate how sensitive a camera is to light, and stands for the level of light reflected off a piece of paper by a candle from one meter away. Better reception than other brand!.......2007-08-23
I love this system. We had another brand summer infant and I always had horrible reception. I get perfect crystal clear reception throughout most of the house. The only problem area is the kitchen so I just leave it in the family room. It does make a lot of noise when the microwave is on so I just turn the volume down while using the microwave. I have had the camera for over a year now and it is still working perfect! In fact I just bought another "eye" for in my sons room and I am getting rid of the other monitor altogether.

I wish I had checked more into this product before buying. Almost any other household appliance will interfere with this monitor (microwave, vacume, radio, white noise sound machine, etc.) Also video quit working after 9 months...called and only a 30-day warranty.....I will be buying another MUCH better rated monitor from Amazon this time. This thing is terrible you'd be better off using your own ears you can not go any where in the house with it. it works best about 20ft away but still has static and a fuzzy picture. Don't waste time spend the extra money and getr something better you'll end up buying something new within a week any ways plus with the static you won't be able to sleep. The only thing good about this item is the night vision.

I got a mobi-cam because my child didn't make noise when she woke up. My mobi-cam always had interference and static. Resolution was poor at best. Within 4 months the camera stop showing, although I could sometimes have sound. When I contacted Mobi Technologies the person told me the warranty is only for 30 days - nothing they would do. DO NOT buy this.

I bought this about 10 months ago with an additional camera. The night vision only works on one of the cameras and the interference is horrible. It snaps and pops all night long and I have to move it all around to find "just the right spot".I actually have to sleep with earplugs in to drown out the noise. I live in a single story 2100 sq. foot house. I should have returned it right away, but I kept it because I had no other monitor at the time. Now, 10 months later, the volume control does not work anymore! I am now trying to find a new monitor. I love having the video monitor though, so I will look for a different brand.

Yamaha just released a new version of this speaker, however, this one rocks! I've had it for about 3 or 4 years now and it's still kickin like it's brand new. The piano black finish gives it a really nice look and the performance is astonishing. My other main speakers are JBLs but I just can't tear myself away from this Yamaha center. If you need a solid center channel I highly recommend this one!

I am using this as a center channel on a 7.1 system. I chose it basically because it fit the size restraints I am forced with and was matched to the rest of the Polk speakers I used. It has worked flawlessly and creates excellent sound and presence.
