Love it........2007-09-22
As always, Amazon's delivery was very fast, and the product is dreamy. Had it up and going in minutes, and it has worked flawlessly for me for about a month now. I'm a school teacher and grad student, so it prints lots of lesson plans, worksheets, and grad papers, and I haven't had a problem with it yet. I live in humid MD and haven't had a problem with paper curling. Only complaint is I haven't easily found the website printer manager and haven't had time to scour the pamphlet for directions. Oh, and I use a macbook, hooked up with ethernet...no problems with mac compatibility.
Brother HL-2070N.......2007-09-10
Have only had this printer for about a month now, but I am well pleased with it. Relatively easy to set up. Had the wireless option, which I like very much, since I use a laptop. Prints really fast and very clear, interested in seeing how many copies I can get before needs toner.
Good and steady.......2007-09-04
I had my doubts about Brother before I bought this, but over six months in and this is a rock solid performer. I don't push the limits with it, but it never acts up or eats paper. I also like that it shuts down when not in use and starts up just be sending a print job to it. Nice feature.
Best Price Performer for a Compact Laser Printer.......2007-09-03
For about $100, I purchased this monochrome laser printer to replace my old Canon laser printer. It was also small and about the same size of an inkjet printer. Its quality at 600 dpi is sufficient to read the street names printed from Yahoo-Map. I don't need to improve the quality further to 1200 dpi. The printer was fast, first page in 10 seconds. I have a color inkjet printer in the same network. But I use this printer for most balck and white printout becuase it is fast and more economical. It also does not smear when I go over some area of the print with a highlighter.
Review of Brother HL-2070N Network Monochrome Laser Printer.......2007-09-03
This is a great network printer for my needs. - A home networked printer to print quick documents, in black/white, and it has a very small footprint and very quiet. It is energy star complient, so it enters a sleep mode while not in use. Which is esp. great when i forget to turn it off, and it immediately wakes from sleep. I use both Macintosh and Windows environments, and I feel it was very easy to setup through Mac OSX. Windows required some extra effort.

Great product.......2007-09-22
Best deal for the money- have purchased 6 as gifts and everyone loves them. Kodak is the best for the price. If only everyone knew that there is Kodak technology in almost every camera available
Great easy to use camera!.......2007-09-12
This is my first digital camera and I love it! I bought it mainly because I liked the big view window and it was recommended by the sales associate. I didn't have to load the included software for my computer came with some that works great. I did buy kodak rechargeabe batteries and they seem to last quite a while. This is very easy to use and I looked at others that seemed much more complicated. I would highly recommend this to a first time user!
Nice little point and shoot...........2007-09-10
This is a very nice little point and shoot camera. Love the features that are included with it for different scene shots. Enough manual control as well to change your results if you want to.
I didn't even have to install the Easy share software, just installed the camera driver that talks to the camera and off and running. Just wish that it had come with a soft case.
Easy tro use.......2007-09-06
I bought my camera about a month ago and have used it outdoors and indoors. The pictures are clear and sharp. It is easy to use, point and shoot. There are features I haven't learned to use yet, but I like the selection of options on camera for all different conditions. The battery life is a lot better than I figured it would be on a digital camera. I have no complaints with the camera at all. It is a quality product. I also like the big LCD screen. Is is bigger than a lot of cameras I have seen.
A decent camera for the money.......2007-09-05
I've taken about 400 photos with my C653 and so far I am mostly satisfied. The most important thing is the ease of use ... this truly is a "point-and-shoot" camera. One of the first things I did was to take the same photograph several times with different settings. I didn't exactly master the settings, but it did help me adjust to the camera. To be honest, the "Auto" setting really works the best. I've been disappointed with some of the photos I've taken using the other settings, though several work very well (Close-Up, Night Portrait, and Landscape in particular). In fairness, some of the disppointing shots could be because I'm still learning the camera. Daytime photos have been clear and true-to-color, but nighttime and low light photos are sometimes grainy (using the Low Light setting does help, but not in every situation). Probably the biggest challenge with this camera is the timing. There is a delay when you press the button, and I've missed a lot of "in-action" photos. With a slight adjustment, though, I've been largely able to overcome this. There is a "Sport" setting, but I haven't used it with much success yet. If you are looking for a camera to catch a lot of sporting events, you might want to consider a more sophisticated SLR.
Downloading photos and working with the memory card are both easy as can be - I never even consulted the manual. It's even easier if you use Kodak's EasyShare online system to send photos to family and friends. While not as slim as some models, the C653 is relatively small, easy to transport and sturdy (it's been banged around a lot in my beach bag this summer - and dropped at least once - and doesn't look any worse for the wear). The video option works quite well, and you can freeze photos from within the video in a variety of ways, which is a great option with fast-moving subjects. Overall, the C653 is a good value for capturing simple photos of everyday life, and even some artistic shots. It's not a "photographer's camera," but it's not meant to be. The price is more than reasonable for the performance.
Two additional notes: be sure to buy an extra memory card if you want to take more than 10 pictures, and go with rechargable batteries. Regular rechargables don't seem to hold up (and often don't even work), but Ray-O-Vac makes a battery called a "Hybrid Rechargable" that fits standard AA chargers and can actually last through several days of photo-taking. Definitely beats the cost and environmental impact of regular batteries!

Brother PT-80 Labeler.......2007-09-25
I LOVE this labeler! It is easy to use, can create various fonts sizes and styles, and is very portable. Not only did I label all the kid's supplies for school, but their sandwich containers also. After 3 weeks the label hasn't been washed off or faded. I've since gone wild labeling art supply drawers, hooks for their coats and backpacks, and drawers of stuff in the garage. You can't beat the price either.
GREAT!.......2007-09-16
I just turned it on and started using it - it's great. I'm sure that if I read the manual; it will be even better!
Sucks Batteries Dry in Nothing Flat.......2007-09-16
I don't know why this thing asks for the date and time when you start it: I've had to replace the batteries every time I've used it, and then re-enter the date and time again. Yesterday I put brand new Duracell batteries in it, purchased that day, and after printing one label ("SPARES") the low battery warning came on. I tried printing another label and it just gave up. And that was the _second_ set of new batteries I tried, because I wasn't sure the Energizers I put in the first time were absolutely fresh. And there's not even a plugin for an AC adapter, so it's totally useless. I acknowledge that my experience must be atypical, otherwise no one would be giving this thing good reviews. However, if you do get one of these, make sure you give it a good workout right away, and keep all the packing materials in case you need to ship it back.
Easy to Use.......2007-09-15
I am very pleased with my purchase of the brother label maker. I was labeling within about a minute. It is very easy to use, no having to figure out directions. Also, easy to use because of the typewriter keyboard.
Very Good Product for the Price.......2007-09-06
I purchased this product today and began labeling when I returned home. I was a bit skeptical considering the reviews I read, but it really works great. Yes, the cartridges are pricey and the labels are a bit hard to peel, but it's not worth passing up. I'm enjoying this label maker and I feel that it was well worth the $14.95 I paid for it. Nothing is going to be perfect. I'm just happy that I feel more organized!

Customer Reviews:
Worth the price.......2007-09-11
I bought this for the purpose of listening to my favorite radio station while on the train to commute to work. For $14.99, it's definitely worth the price. The reception in the Chicagoland area is decent with minor static here and there. It's light and uses a single AA battery. I've used the walkman for the past 3 weeks for about 2-3 hrs 5 days a week and am still on the 1st battery. If you like to switch stations often, this is not for you if you don't want to manually find them; there are no presets. The headphones do stink. I threw them away and use one from my old iPod shuffle.
Repeat buyer!!!.......2007-09-09
I first bought this radio in 2004. I was amazed what a great little radio this is. Now, I just purchased 2 more.........just to be on the safe side if the radio is ever discontinued. The quality of the radio and the music it puts out is just as amazing today as it was 3 years ago. The radio is very lightweight. Uses just 1 "AA" battery that lasts almost forever. Actually, it seems I hear more nuances in the music with this radio than the one I bought 3 years ago. Maybe they upgraded the radio or headphones. The AM is equally as impressive as the FM stereo!
srf 59.......2007-08-05
Works well but I would like a better up graded product. I know it would cost more but I am willing to pay. This one is great but I want more up scale
excellent product!.......2007-07-14
This walkman is everything I hoped it would be. It gets most the stations, and is perfect for cutting the grass.
Sony SRF-59 FM/AM Radio.......2007-07-08
The FM/AM radio has very good selectivity, very good sensitivity, and very good sound quality. If all you want is an FM/AM radio, this is at least as good as, probably better than, the other Walkman Products which also have a cassette player.

Rush engineering, cheap sound, bad mic........2007-09-21
Mine does have the button, but the mic/button is more than 2 feet from the earphone. This means the mic is right around my belt buckle. Do you talk out of your belly button? Cause I don't.
Sound is blah, about the same as the apple earbuds.
Why pay $100.......2007-09-17
Great purchase they work and sound great they do more than those $100 headset the mic sound quality is good enough and they wear comfortable ..
Great design....Average Sound.........2007-09-12
This headset does everthing it claims to do, except deliver decent sound, kinda a biggie. i LOVE the "noose", great for just about any situation. I just really wish they sounded better, very little bass. Though that could have something to do with my ear shape, though my sony ex51's blow the Rivets away sound wise. Anyway I agree with most reviewers..the rivets make a decent yardwork or workout set, but not for everyday listening. real shame.
A Good Substitute.......2007-09-10
This headset is ok considering the price. The only drawback is the sound quality, which is not great. But the lanyard cord is great. It's the first headset I've had where the earbuds don't get gradually pulled out during my runs or bike rides. Plus it comes with 3 different sizes of earbud inserts to adapt to the size of your ear canal. The design of the lanyard is ingenius. It's too bad they didn't put the same amount of energy into the sound quality. I'm just waiting for the V-Moda headsets to come out with the answer/pause button, so in the meantime these will be fine.
Good function, Poor durability.......2007-09-06
These work good and I like the around the neck cable routing. The plug rubber wire cover has started to come off and the plug has started to com apart after only 3 weeks. I will be returning these but not sure what I can get in the same price range.
Thanks
Vincent

Customer Reviews:
Best deal for laser.......2007-09-14
I believe this is the best bang for a Laser Printer. Do not expect top quality prints. Compared to other Laser printers I had before I find that the prints are less quality, they are not as crisp; maybe its the resolution, I dont know, so compare it before making a decision. Also it is more loud than other printers, but well that might not be so important if it does the job. Happy so far for the cheap price.
Trash!.......2007-09-07
Really don't want to waste time to comment this printer. Trash! returned it and they will charge me $32 for shipping. Do some research work and carefully evaluate your items before ordering from Amazon!
Note you need to get interface cable separately.......2007-08-30
I'm giving it 3 stars provisionally, will revise if needed, based on my excellent experience with Brother printers, but my annoyance that they do not include a basic USB cable in the box (would have cost them about $1 extra, but will cost you $5-10 at least, and a bit of hassle).
You will need a USB 2.0 A/B cable (e.g., check out a Startech item that Amazon sells for about $6). You can use a parallel cable if you must, but USB should give you better performance in general, besides being easier to connect.
What a Pile.......2007-08-27
How did this thing get to 4 stars. Did anybody who bought this use it. I've had this one for about a year now and have hated it for the last 12 months. It will either jam the paper for real, tell you it has a paper jam with nothing stuck in it, or crinkle the paper so it will stand on edge. The print quality isn't anything to brag about either. I guess if you print one page a day you might be happy with this printer but if you print much at all stay away very far away!
Very Good, Basic Laser Printer for Home Office.......2007-08-23
I bought this printer to replace my HP Laserjet Series II that I purchased new in 1988. I doubt that I will get 19 years out of this one, however, it turns out to be a very good little basic monochrome printer. Having both the Centronics and the USB port for connectivity allowed me to replace it right in where the HP used to be on my wireless printserver without changing any of my "legacy" configuration or I could move it to a USB configuration if needed.
The time to print the first page can be a little long, but once this printer gets going it is reasonably quick. The first toner cartridge that came with the printer is still hanging in there pretty well with near daily use for about a month.
It can be a quite tricky lining up a manual feed page to go through square and straight. If I want a letter on letterhead to come out parallel to the edges of the page, I usually open the paper tray and let it go through the conventional path. Envelopes through the manual feed are just too crumpled by the time they feed through the entire paper feed path to the output bin. I've had no problem feeding through label stock or even the half-label/half-paper shipping labels provided by my shipping company.
I'm pretty happy with this - it's a considerable upgrade from the printer I'm replacing in terms of resolution and speed. However, I certainly don't have any illusions or expectations that this product is as durable as the behemoth tank that it replaced.

Customer Reviews:
Better than the other wii gun attachments so far........2007-09-04
This Wii Gun is quite fun once you get used to it. Using it is a bit heavier then using the plain wii remote by itself but you'll get the hang of it. The little extra weight may slow your hand movement a bit, but it also helps steady your shoots a bit at the same time. Pulling the trigger to press the B button also takes getting used to since it takes a few milliseconds to pull the trigger to active the B button then pressing the button without the gun, but that can be fixed (tape anyone). With most wii shooter game out right now like the shooting game in Wii Play or the Boo mini-game in Super Paper Mario, you can press the B button instead of the A button to shoot. So if there's a shooter game that only use the A button to shoot, then you're out of luck. Pay no attention to the other review that says that this can't work with a nunchunk. Underneath the handle of the gun is a slot that you can plug in the nunchunk, so game such as Elebits and Red Steel will be no problem. Plus since the whole nunchunk is not attached directly to the gun, you can move them both separately. One other thing worth mentioning is that using the Wii Gun for too long can cause cramping in the finger but nothing too serious. Overall this is not a necessity but if you need a gun attachment to feel more in the game and can't wait for the Nintendo Wii Zapper, This is the one.
Useless.......2007-08-19
I do not own this product I am writing this as a warning to all wii owners. First person shooters such as metroid prime 3 or third person shooters such as resident evil 4 on the wii require use of both the wii remote and nunchuck attatchment. Most shooter games on the wii unless they are railbased shooters like time crisis are going to need both remotes making this gun useless. Be warned you wont be able to play these popular shooters using this gun.
I dont know.......2007-08-10
This gun is deffinatly al lot of fun to use but it doesnt work with Resident Evil 4, which is the reason i bought it. No biggy though there will be other first person shooter, Metroid. Anyother problem is you have to take ff the wii strap or else it gets in the way it is kinda wierd but if you have 2 wiimotes then your fine, also it is very easy to put the strap back so no problem. For only $20 bucks it is a good deal the sort of duck hunt game on wiiplay is a lot of fun. This thing does take a liitle bit of time to get use too mainly becuase you have to pull the trigger fully not just a little (finger gets tired but not a big deal). Bottom line it is worth $20 bucks and even though it has its flaws it makes the games more realistic and fun.

I like it !.......2007-09-26
I had a Logitech V270 which wasn't bad, but a bit odd shaped and heavy. The V470 is a touch smaller than the 270, yet it's shaped better and it feels more natural (plus it's laser). I wish it was a little bigger, but it's the best bluetooth mouse I've used to date.

Buy Something Else.......2007-09-11
I work from home and need to occasionally send out faxes. This machine is of such poor quality that I have to sit and help the feeder with the documents or else it would not grab them to pull them through. God forbid I ever need to receive a fax - I would have to do the same thing for the printer which is also of poor quality. My advice - spend a little bit more and get something that will be reliable, because this machine is not. I can't wait to pull an "Office Space" on this thing once I get a different one.
Great Home Fax.......2007-09-07
I have been very happy with this fax. I just needed a fax for small jobs and this works great. It's also nice because it does not take up much room on my desk.
Solid worker.......2007-09-04
This is a good soho fax machine. I don't think it could be much more. It has worked well in the year I've had it.
Oh Brother!.......2007-08-28

Does what it says, and has a good web management console.......2007-08-25
This is a really nice printer-scanner-fax for its price: perfect for casual home printing or even a small office. The printer has a webpage where you can see how many pages have been printed, scanned, faxed etc. The speed is good - a 20ppm laser is way way faster than a 20 ppm inkjet since the inkjet only gives the 20ppm speed at its lowest (almost unusable) settings while the laser gives it at its normal settings. Another advantage over the inkjet is, it can print a large document (100 page or maybe more) without getting stuck or running out of paper - my previous brother inkjet MFC always ran into paper jam or something if printed 40 or more pages at once.
I have not had any problems with it in the last few months I have had it.
Faxing and scanning work over the network as well, aside from printing. And thats not just on the home network: with a little configuration of ports on your home router, you can even access the printer from outside your home. You may say thats not very useful since you need to be home to pick up the printout but it is a good feature to have for some occasional usefulness. I once printed a document when connected to the Internet at an airport, just to have it ready for reading when I got back home.
It automatically enters a low power mode if not used for 5 minutes (can increase the timeout to more than 5 minutes on its management webpage if needed). The low power mode is absolutely quiet since theres no fan running.
It seems the unit has an FTP server but that is not documented and I could not figure out how to really use it- I put a file in its FTP folder, the unit automatically deleted the file. And maybe I should have expected this, it printed the file before deleting it.
Love this printer!.......2007-08-24
I love this printer. Installation was a breeze. First page comes out in 5 secs and it's a laser printer too! Fax feature was very easy to use and it can be set up via network. Copier is very easy to use as well, just like any regular copier you see. I love the feeder feature for copying multiple pages.
I haven't encounter any paper curling problem so far. However, this is only my first day on this machine. I should have another update on this machine if anything should change. But, so far I'm in love with this printer/fax/copier/scanner! And it's only for 299.99 with shipping and tax. You can't beat that!
Singularly useful office equipment.......2007-08-23
- It supports open standards (so it works across Windows, MAC, Linux).
- Faxes look great because it's a laser printer.
- Scanning is very convenient - it will take a stack of paper and make a multi-page PDF for you.
- Doesn't depend on one computer or another - multiple computers can connect to it at the same time over the network.
Good and cheap.......2007-08-23
Except for envelope squashing, this is a great buy. The envelope corners get wrinkled when printing.
Otherwise this is a great value.
ok for the price.......2007-07-28
The toner cartridge supplied malfunctioned at the start. It took over a week and several long wait calls to get a replacement.
The unit now works.Quite fast, some paper wrinkling due to heat, cheap plastic housing, but alot of function for the price.
