The best you can get.......2007-06-29
After my initial HD cables that came with the system broke :'( I had to go out and get another set of cables that had a higher definition, without full HD, but that could also play on standard definition televisions, and these are great! You don't have to hook them up to the S-Video port, but its a great addition for a little quality boost if you don't want to spend all your money on an HD TV.
Microsoft Cables Are Good.......2007-03-09
I purchased these cables in order to capture the best video quality from my Xbox. People say that they don't see much of a difference in quality (in Halo 2, for instance) but it makes a big difference when making montages!

Excellent video quality on my 32 inch TV. The S-Video does make a difference over the RCA plug. If you do not have an HDTV, but want clear graphics, pick up this plug. I didn't even bother with the audio portion of this cable, I went and got the Monster Game Optical cable for the best audio sound.

For the price, it's worth picking up . Does it improve overall resolution? Not really, but that's not why I bought it. I needed an s-video connection from my xbox to my computer monitor, and it works fine for that. It's not "high end" by any stretch of the imagination, but it works.

The PS2/PS Cables are a great addition to any Play Station gamer's system. The audio connections are the same as those that come standard with the PS2 but the S video cable on this cable make all the difference. This "cable" as it is called is rather quite the nifty creation. It has increased my Wii viewing enjoyment immeasurably (except, obviously, in a number of stars, and that data is listed above.) Consider this: I can now see things on my TV screen in finer, sharper, and clearer detail than ever before while using my Wii, and this...this, friends, is the hallmark of a successful product that does exactly what it should, and oh so much more. Did it have to be as long as it is to do its job? No, but it is, and it handles the extra length like some long, wiry champion. My only complaint, is that it does not come in the Bondi Blue color so as to match my four 1st Generation iMacs which sit about my living room, allowing me to bask in their lovely blue glow.

I bough this product, instalation was as easy as plug the original PS2 cables, the picture quality is outstanding, games looks like PS2.5 it realy unleash the games graphics, menus and textures looks sometimes twice as detailed.
On the color side, the colors looks more bright and live, improved the colors on a 25% to 50% its realy top quiality color definition Im talking here.
Sound doesnt change at all, but my TV is Full Pro Logic 5 Sorround Sound, so it sounds and looks exelent, I replayed all my old games just to see how the graphics improved after looking at what this cable do.
This is a must have if you have a PS2 and a S Video plug on your TV.
Its like have your glasses with dirt and then clean them up and look at everithing sharp and clean, thats the S Video clable effect on the PS2 games.
Highly recomended.
AV Component vr S/Video.......2004-05-21
I just bought the component AV cable from a 3rd party company and already has the S/video cables (3rd party too) . I've read that AV component it's much better than S video, and tha's why I bought it. But is not!. AV component seems to be a little better than standard AV cables (RCA). S video gives an extraordinary brilliance to images. Video Component looks opaque, maybe Monster cables works better. In summary:
1- S/Video
2- AV component
3- Standar Av cables (rca)
What's your experience?, could it be 'cause they are 3rd party?
Good component to have, lousy quality........2003-11-20
I highly recommend you not waste your money on cables made by this company. The plugs fit very loose and fall apart. I'm not saying shouldn't get higher quality cables like S-Video or Component they're great, in fact I would recommend if you have both the S-Video and the Red, Blue, Green holes on your TV to go straight to the Component (The Red, Blue, Green) cause it makes the scanlines less noticable making the image even clearer even if it's not a HDTV plus if you do get one you'll have the right cables to get the best quality. All I'm saying is either get the ones by Sony or Monster Cable cause the Indec cables are pretty shoddy.

I just bought this item recently, and it works perfect with my tv.If you have an HDTV of course it won't work with it, but for those who don't have an HDTV this puppy is sure to make playing a PS2 worth your while. Since I didn't have an EDTV or an HDTV, This cable is the next best thing to a higher quality picture with older television sets with an s-video input.
good option for those without component inputs.......2007-03-16
I purchased this cable because I have an older TV that has S-video inputs, but no component inputs. The cable has a Wii A/V plug on one end, and on the other, it has S-video, composite video, and left and right RCA audio outputs. Some sites on the internet claim that it has digital audio, but that's not the case. After plugging it into the S-video input on my TV, there's a small but noticible improvement in the quality of the video from the Wii.
The only downside to it is that the plugs are rather fat (there's a lot of plastic around the tips), so if your TV or receiver's input jacks are in a narrow location, it might be a tight fit, or the plug might not fit at all.

Works but image a bit fuzzy.......2005-10-17
We bought this cable to connect our Dell laptop to our old Magnavox TV, so that we could watch DVDs on a bigger screen. It performs that function pretty well. Text is often a bit blurry, however, especially text that isn't very large, and so it can be a mild strain to read subtitles. Overall, though, the picture is of good quality.
One or twice I've tried displaying my computer desktop on the screen instead of a DVD. Then the image has been very blurry. So I definitely couldn't give a PowerPoint presentation by attaching the computer to the TV with this cable.
In short, it's a pretty good deal for playing DVDs, but it might not be suitable for anything else.
