My daughter is very happy with this little machine, but don't bother trying to use the battery pack. She charged it for 24 hours and on the first attempt to use it in the car, it gave out in less than 15 minutes. The car charger works fine as does the ac connection.
Great portable DVD player.......2007-09-13
I was just going to replace my daughter's old portable DVD player since it's been skipping. But, I ended up getting one each for my two kids so they can have them in their rooms and/or take them on trips and not fight over what to watch. They're teenagers. Enough said.
So far, so good. The resolution's great, it's very light weight, love the folding headphones (saves so much space!) and the rechargeable battery goes on easily--snaps right on the back of the unit, so no more dangling wire like the old system. For the price, it's a bargain. Highly recommend.

We got this for our 2 year old when we had to make weekly 6 hour car trips. It served the purpose well, we didn't hear all the crying and whining and moaning that we normally did. She got crackers all over it, and it wiped clean. The picture and sound are not stellar, but it is good enough for a small portable DVD player.

I am very happy with this DVD player. I bought it for my tread mill and it works fine. The sound is not good without the headphones and you have to play around a little with the screen to get the right viewing angle. It is very easy to load and doesn't require a Master's in Engineering to set up. All in all for the price I don't see how you can go wrong.

Bought this for my 3 yr old for summer vacation plane trip. Worked well, played DVD's and audio CD's with no issues.
Headphones included with system are a little large for small children, but fit an adults head just fine.
Picture quality was good, audio quality was also good.

I do love it. I previously had an over-the-head type. It got tangled up in my hair all the time. I was looking for something strictly earpiece.
I bought this for our Uniden DCT646-3 cordless phone set. It works great on my phone. I know it looks weird. In fact, my DH said it looked uncomfortable. Not at all. It does take a little getting used to (not much). The getting used to part is getting it in place, not wearing it.
It looks as though it would be tight, but it's not. You don't even know it's there. The only problem I have with this earphone - If I am wearing earrings, it takes me two phone rings to get it situated in my ear so I can answer the phone.
I can hear quite well through this headset, and my callers can hear me quite well. The little boom does a 180 degree turn, so it is left as well as right oriented. It is small, attractive, and easy to store. I have a tiny hook on the side of my monitor for mine.

I give this headset an extra star for being fairly comfortable to wear. The volume is good too...if it's working.
Like some other reviewers have mentioned, this headset's mic is prone to dying out of the blue, which is exactly what happened to mine. So you're having your usual conversation, and all of a sudden the other person can no longer hear you.
I will be buying a replacement headset for my Plantronics phone, but definitely not another of this model. If you do buy this, it might be a good idea to have a replacement ready because it's a huge hassle to have to run off to Radio Shack when your headset dies in the middle of a business call!
Pretty lousy headset.......2007-06-12
I own 3 different headsets for my mobile phone. this by far is the worst and is now somewhere on the floor of my car forgotten but not missed. It is hard to clip it on the ear lobe, and the whole think feels quite flimsy, the mouth piece swings around on its own accord, and the sound quality not so good (i have a convertible and so they need to be quite good to overcome the wind sound maybe they'll work better elsewhere). I have 2 others that work well, of which one is the traditional blackberry headphones that come standard with new blackberry device. they don't look as good but they work better.

This player is junk. It advertises all these features and it probably has them, if you can find one that will work more than twice. I bought one and it worked twice and wouldn't come back on. I called the seller they gave me a RMA number and I returned it. I thought that maybe I just got a bad player so I asked for an exchange, which I got with no problem. I did have to pay six dollars shipping for the return though. A couple of weeks later got a new player. It worked a whopping two times before it quit. I knew it would be six more dollars shipping so I threw it in the trash...which is where every one of these players by Audiovox belongs as far as I am concerned. The only reason I gave it one star is because I don't think I can give it a zero. Know this product is a zero in my opinion. It is just terrible.
BEWARE DON'T BUY THIS MP3 PLAYER........2007-09-16
I don't know if laughing or crying. I received this item, unwrapped it, charged the battery, loaded some songs and tried it. It was like 6 pm. That night I tried it and it worked. Next day I took it to the gym and used it for 40 minutes. I didn't hit it on anything or something like that. Then, suddenly, the image on the screen mirrored. It mirrored! all the words and graphics were flipped and looked as if you were looking at them from behind. One minute later all the image blurred. I couldn't read anything in the screen, but it still played music. I noticed it had a reset button on the back, I pressed it. It went back to normal... for a minute! Then the image blurred again and PUFF! it turned off. I got home, tried to charge the battery again, the image on the little screen was in a blur again. I disconnected it from the power: the screen didn't have any image and it didn't played any music. End of story, it worked in my hands for less than 24 hours!!! And the radio? well, I didn't have time to try it! This is definitely the worst item I have ever bought on amazon. Simply, don't buy it !!!!!!

I quite like this product. I use it during my walks every day and cleaning the house. I love the head phones - they don't hurt because the weight is on the back of my neck rather than in my ears. My only issue is the battery doesn't last long enough but the sound is awesome. Nice job Audiovox with at great price.

The screen is very nice and easy to view, even in bright sunlight. I was able to load songs with no trouble, and sound quality is pretty good. Only negative is that you must use a USB hookup to charge it.

The mechanism seams a bit flimsy when you pull the TV to swivel - however, if you are careful the product seems great. The picture and sound are fantastic. DVD, radio and TV all function well. For a 9" TV it delivers, but it is only 9". I would say a great little value for the right place.

Great 10" Portable DVD Player.......2007-08-02
This is a great DVD Player. For those of you who like me have young kids and didn't get the DVD package when buying your mini van, this is a great alternative. I also purchaced the Mo Go holder and when assembled correctly it provides a sturdy holder for this player between the two front headrest. The player also comes with media card slots to veiw slide shows of pictures from your digital camera. We just went away on vacation and held out as long as we could 3 hours in the car, and then put up the DVD player. There was total silence from the kids in back car seats.....

This was just what I needed....we're using this strictly for long road trips and so I wanted a big screen for the kids. This included a nice case and decent ear phones. For the money, I think this was a great purchase!

I'm just about to head out on a trip with this new purchase. The price was right at $159 for the case, two headphones and remote, but I was somewhat crestfallen to learn you can NOT hang the unit from the back of a car seat with the battery connected to the unit. Dopey design. With my kids in the third row of a rental van, the liklihood that the car power adapter will reach is slim. I hope the rental will have a thrid row cigarette lighter adapter. I guess they'll just have to rest the unit between them on the seat. Picture quality looks really good (other reviewer's comments notwithstanding) and sound on the earphones supplied is fine. Battery life is a bit on the short end (Audivox claims 2.5 hours), but I plan to turn the brightness all the way down and have them use headphones (less power-eating than the speakers). I was toying with the idea of getting the Panasonic LS-82 which has MUCH longer battery life. I might return this one.

Cost cutting in many places is evident with this unit. The screen resolution is 800x480 , but not as sharp as other players with high end screen display. The unit does not have a true last scene memory function , but one that is totally useless for resuming a program from where it previously stopped. Why is this done-- cost savings ? Also, the AV input does not work .I would stay away from this player

We purchased this unit several months ago. We got this unit for our 3 year old to watch movies on when we travel. It was a replacement for a Kawasaki unit that had recently died on us after a year or so. I expect the life of this unit should be better but I would not expect anything more than two years. My daughter uses it at home as well for maybe 30-60 minutes a day. The picture is very good, better than the Kawasaki.

I bought this for my boyfriend because he travels a lot and so far it's been great. The sound isn't that great without headphones, but he only uses it with headphones so it's not really an issue.. The screen is huge! Just about as big as my laptop screen. Battery life is decent. If it's fully charged lasts about 3 hours.

I'm pretty sure the original ad by vendor said that it has a SD/MMC slot, since I googled search it. Now it's not there anymore, and I'm stuck with D2010 instead of D2016. I will not buy another product from this vendor.

I used it with my Sony Ericsson W600i. It was comfort to wear, but easy to fall off than others with hook. Sound quality was relatively low.

This was an excellent earpiece, except it has no noise reduction. Everything else about it is great...the design for odd ears like mine keep it on the ear well. Noise reduction is vital, though, and I am surprised this late of a model didn't have it.

Picks up a lot of background noise but that is normal for a bluetooth headset. Headset has a unique design that i like very much. Comfortable in your ear and has a long battery life. One problem so far - Rubber piece that goes over the top of your ear has started to come apart.

I am a true road warrior so I have purchased a lot of BT Headsets over the last few years. One thing to point out if your a all day user, def purchase a over the ear model vs one that goes in your ear. This headset was very comfortable, great sound quality both ways. I also own the Plantronics Voyager 510. Both the Sony HBH-GV435 and Plantronics Voyager 510 are the two best headsets I've tried in the market. The sony is not quite as loud as the Voyager 510 but not really a issue. Key word is comfort, great sound, and user's can hear me well. BTW, don't get caught up in purchasing the smallest headset. Just keep in mind if you want to use the headset for a few minutes at a time or leave it in all day.

I purchased this product so I could chat with my family while driving to and from work. It conveniently fits in one ear without the headset looking microphone so you don't feel like you are working at Old Navy or in a call center. You should be sure to plug it in before driving so there's no extra fiddling around, the only inconvenience associated with non-wireless capabilities. Quite often the person I am speaking with complains of not being able to hear me very well, but after a microphone adjustment it seems to be aleviated.

This headset is great. My friends can hear me better when I talk with the headset plugged in than without it. And I hear better too. I used a Motorola headset before but the Plantronics is far better than the Motorola.

I purchased this little unit for a Polk I-Sonic. I'm already an XM subscriber and can be activated online. Is about the size of 2 quarters put together. The home docking station is required to use this unit and can be purchased seperately. This tuner can be moved receiver to another receiver that is XM ready. I believe this unit will work in automotive applications as well. The XM Mini Tuner is a must!

I have been a subscriber for 4 years. Back in November my account was turned off due to a billing issue. The week prior to it being turned off I started receiving 3 calls a day for payment. I advised one of the reps to wait a week for the payment, payment was made. Calls stopped for another week. The radio was then turned off and the 3 calls a day started up again. I explained to the bill collectors I owed nothing and when offered to reactivate the radio I told them not to bother, at this point I wanted nothing more to do with XM. They offered me 3 months of free service to come back, anyone who cancels can get this by the way, and I refused. The 3 calls a day continued for the next week, I was informed that it simply takes a week for your name to fall out of their automated system....
2 more months go by and then I start receiving a bill saying that I reactivated my radio and owe for 2 months of service and all the late fees that go with that. 40 dollars. I call in and state I never reactivated my radio, thus I don't owe for reactivating my radio and the 2 months of service that would have followed. The customer service rep told me that it would be taken cared of, 2 weeks later I get another bill. I call back and the rep tells me the same thing and apologizes for my inconveniences. I even called back the next day just to make sure it was finally resolved, and that rep confirmed that I no longer owed anything. So then last month I start receiving COLLECTIONS NOTICES. YOU HAVE ONE MONTH TO PAY THIS BEFORE IT GOES TO COLLECTIONS. I called in and was promised they would look into it and call me back. This apparently has taken care of the issue, though I never received the call back. This week I called 6 times, 3 of which I was promptly hung up on for no reason, and was told each time that it had been resolved. So hopefully this time it really is... To anyone considering XM I suggest you just get an MP3 player.

This tiny device is an actual radio tuner.
I put it it the home dock. Hooked it up to my XM ready receiver.Registered on line, and in just a few minutes was listening to XM radio.
The sound quality of satellite radio is amazing and the variety of programmming can't be beat.
The magic of the Mini Tuner is as eguipment becomes avialable you will be able to carry your one subscription to your car , office , and back home again. This is a win win situation!
