The general idea is great. I like the "skin" the ipod goes in and the elastic is comfortable to wear. My only problem is that the band just fits my arm. If it stretches at all with time I will have to figure out some way to tighten it. It seems like they were counting on the people who need this item to have fairly large arms.

This armband worked great for a couple months but then the elastic started breaking down. It's not made for small arms in the first place so after a while it got really loose and not too comfortable. Also it's open on the front and top so no working out in the rain. :(

I've been pretty happy with this product, especially considering the price. My only qualm with it is that the elastic has started to loosen slightly after about a month of consistent wear. As another reviewer mentioned, it's hard to stick your earbud and cable cords into your Nano because the rubber on the bottom gets in the way. However, I just took a pair of scissors and cut a tiny bit away from the slits and it works just fine. When I'm not using the armband for running, I just slip it off, leaving the rubber case around my Nano to protect it. All in all, it's not built to last forever, but it's decent.

Exactly everything I was looking for; entirely envelopes the iPod Nano for security and protection without covering the wheel, has a protective film for the screen, and the armband is perfect size. So for those of you complaining about it being "too big" either you have not set it up correctly, or your arm has an unrealistically small circumference (FYI: I am a female triathlete). Lift some weights!

I got these cute little things in desperation after having a set of Bose TriPort earbuds for almost a year and losing the rubber tips again and again. I swore I wouldn't use them anymore.
I've had these for a couple of months and simply love them. They fit perfectly in my ear and it's much, much more difficult the get the rubber tips off.
The real kicker is the sound quality. The full spectrum is audible, and the fact that the rubber tips seal inside your ear provides a certain measure of noise isolation (not cancellation, of course, but isolation). This makes a big difference in hearing both musical resonance and depth of voices in the spoken word.
Don't hesitate - they're a steal for the price, quality, and peace of mind.

I've had the JBuds for nearly a year now, and they've held up well. I would say that the noise reduction is decent, but not as significant as with my battery-powered Sony MDR-NC6. Very comfortable and good quality manufacturing.

I really like these ear buds. They are very comfortable and you can change the piece on the ends to fit the size of your ear. Three size choices which makes these very practical. With a good fit you will really get the best sound quality possible.

These are amazing. Forget the price tag (which itself is a bargain), these ear buds sound really good. I did a side-by-side comparisons with Apple (in-box), Creative (in-box), Phillips noise reduction and Sennheiser PXC 250 noise reduction and I could not believe that JBuds sounded better! The ambient noise blocking is pretty good too. However, I am not sure how well it will work in a plane. The in-ear fit is pretty comfortable. Although no audiophile, I am pretty fussy about my sound quality. JBuds definitely made me happy.

Broke after one month..........2007-09-26
I brought this with me to Europe for the summer. It was working perfectly for one month. Then it broke. The problem is the flippable Euro prong portion of the adapter must have lost it's connection to the body of the adapter, due to constant flipping. Since I used it for my laptop, I must have flipped it at least one hundred times over the course of one month. But it still should not have broken so quickly. I had to scramble to find one in Germany. The only replacement I found had no ground, but it only cost me 2 euros.
Use in Hong Kong?.......2007-09-07
I bought the adaptor and for the first time tried to use it in Hong Kong. I didn't take the instructions with me because it looked pretty simple. I noted in some reviews that people had problems using it in England but the instructions said it would work in Hong Kong. I was able to find the little plastic piece that you apparently need for the English and Hong Kong type plug but I couldn't figure out how to use it. The flat prongs that rotate were too narrow to go in the plug and the only other option were the round European prongs. Since they were round and not flat I didn't attempt to use them, although I did think about it. When I got home and looked at the instructions I think I could have used the round prongs and the little plastic piece on the receptacles in Hong Kong. The instructions need to better. I think a lot of users have had similar problems. Other than that it is a nice compact piece of travel equipment.

UK seems to use several different outlet types. Sometimes the fork would unlock it, but not always.
The europlug side of this device worked just fine.
Also BE CAREFUL. This is an adapter ONLY, not a converter. Make sure the device you plug in supports either 120 or 240, or you may fry something. Electronics are USUALLY safe, but read on the adapter. Hair dryer would be a very bad idea!

I use this on my 80g iPod quite often. It records clearly and is easy to use. I love being able to record important conversations or events for my own private use. My kids love singing into it and listening to themselves. It automatically takes the recordings into iTunes. Love it. Worth the money.

I bought one of these gizmos on the basis of Belkin's inclusion of this product in the list of those compatible with the new iPod classic.
The recording and external-power functions work. Nothing else does. The button and LED don't work and it won't sync through the Mini USB connector.
It shouldn't be difficult for Belkin to fix this problem, but for now, don't buy this item for use with an iPod classic.

This microphone attachment for the iPod video exceeded my expectations in the sound quality of the recording. I've heard recordings from other such devices, and figured this would be just as noisy and tinny. I was very pleasantly surprised to hear recordings worthy of a studio microphone.
Of course, I have a white iPod, and this only comes in black. C'est la vie.
A downside of the iPod and not the microphone, is that the recordings are made uncompressed, which takes a lot of space on the hard drive, and a lot of power to play back. (It also takes a lot of power to record, but there's not a lot Apple could do about that.) What you need to do is sync them back the iTunes, compress them there (I use AAC 256 kbps), delete the uncompressed versions, and sync back.
Pleasant surprise!!!.......2007-08-13
I purchased this item because I was tired of using my old, hand held cassette recorder. Just returned from a trip to Irland where I was able to capture friends and relatives singing traditional songs in an informal setting. I simply held the unit in the general direction of the vocalist and...voila!!! The sound quality was outstanding!!! Upon playback, it sounds very similar to cd quality sound.
My regret is that even w/ a fully charger iPod, you get approx. 30-45 mins. of record time. Would love to see a model that allowed you to plug in a Griffin 'Tune Juice' attachment for additional playing time.
Oh well...........maybe some day. In the meantime, check it out...........it's worth the investment.

File Transfer from XP to Vista.......2007-09-01
I feel the product performed as advertised by moving files located on my old computer which was running windows xp to my new computer running vista. The only problem I encountered was having to run the cd twice on both computers before the actual transfer took place. I don't know what happened with the first try, but it was done per instructions with no results. After the second attempt, all files were transferred.

There was no prior info regarding the inability to use the cable when transferring from Vista to Vista. Naturally' I never would have purchased it if I had kn own.
Works great with bundled PcSync software........2007-08-27
Doesn't work so great with the Microsoft® MigWiz software. You would think that a Microsoft® product created to transfer information between Microsoft® machines would operate flawlessly, right? Wrong. I'll not get into the particulars of locking up and having to restart and all that, but I will tell you that the PcSync software that comes bundled with this transfer cable, simply rocks.
Take my advice, just install the PcSync software; it works on an FTP like transfer protocol that is smooth and painless, and pretty much as quick as any FTP upload/download. Not familiar with FTP? No worries, it works like any other transfer software, i.e. cd/dvd burning software. Drag from the old file to the new file and you're golden.
Great cable. Just make sure that you get it from Amazon for the $24.77 price tag. I didn't, and it cost me $54.00 @ Office Depot, but I needed it immediately.
Easy for XP to Vista IF you follow instructions.......2007-08-26
Despite reading many negative reviews about the Belkin Easy Transfer cable, I decided to risk it. It was a painless experience. I did make sure of several things:
1. I was transferring from an XP machine to a Vista (which is what the packaging says the cable's for, though I didn't see that statement on the Amazon website).
2. I loaded proprietary software on my Vista machine prior to performing the transfer (e.g., MS Office, including MS Outlook).
3. I loaded the belkin software only on the old (XP) machine
4. I followed the onscreen instructions (windows has a transfer wizard that automatically starts and helps guide you).
It even flawlessly transferred all of my information for my home network. I just plugged in my network cable and my new Vista machine worked as well as my XP had.
I'm a very happy customer.

I was looking for a case that looked good and help protect my shiny new ipod. This did all that and the click wheel still works great through the protector .I does make your ipod a little bulkier but worth it IMO. Also I had to make the headphone hole a bit bigger so I could plug my Shure headphones in. This thing looks great. A little bulky, but I bought it not to be used as something for exercising and listening to music but to just listen to music. So if you want something lightweight, try something different. If you already have scratches on your iPod, you're pretty much going to see them even more clearly now.

The face plate on the front of the case makes the ipod look good without adding extra bulk. The hard plastic protects the screen while a more softer plastic protects the click wheel without hampering your ability to use it properly. However, Even though the back of the case is clear, the Belkin logo on the back would completely block out any engraving that you might have. Also, it does not dock in many docks but a lot of cases dont dock as well. It is quite easy to remove the ipod from the case if you do want to dock it though. It also slides into your pocket easily and does not get stuck like many cotton and synthetic cases do. A great buy all over!
30/60 gb ipod video case.......2007-08-16
A very substantial case with good looks. It snaps solidly together and there is no wiggle room once in the case. The headphone earbud issue could be a valid one, however, my Bose over the ear and Sennheiser buds fit just fine as do the buds that come with the 30 gig model. The aux cable to plug it into my dash cd player fits ok as well. The sliding around issue mentioned elsewhere is a valid concern. I will eventually glue some rubber material on it's back to solve that problem. The lack of clip would be a problem if your workout pants/shorts lack a pocket and listening while working out is must.
Bottom line--looks good, fits very snugly, and is solidly constructed throughout.

Twice the Cooling Power, Half the Consumption
In contrast to most other laptop coolers that use two fans to suck warm air from the laptop's bottom, the Belkin's Laptop Cooling Stand relies on the natural flow of heat and air circulation to do the hard work and needs only one fan to do the trick. Instead of drawing the laptop heat down to push it out, the stand takes full advantage of natural air flow and heat's natural tendency to rise by pushing the hot air upward through the channel and away from your laptop.
The single high-capacity fan, powered by a USB port on your laptop, sits in the middle of the cooling stand, and hot air is channeled out to the left and right sides of your laptop. The result is heat dissipation that's equal to a two-fan solution but that uses less than half the power. And because the fan is USB-powered, you won't have any bulky batteries or adapters (which can also both add heat!) to weigh you down. You simply place your laptop on the stand, pull the USB cable out of the convenient storage compartment, and plug it into your computer. The stand will take care of the rest.

So far this is by far the best product for the money for my labtop. I've priced,and read reviews of other competitors labtop cooling stands. Would difintely recommend this product for labtop cooling and comfortbility as well as fitting snuggly in my 15'labtop case. Have great results with all Belkins products so far.
Cool Stand!.......2007-09-23
I got my first laptop computer some months ago and quickly found out how hot they run! I purchased this Belkin stand in preference to other brands and I have been very happy so far. I have a widget on the computer that monitors the processor temperature and I can see the difference. The stand also holds the computer in a comfortable tilted position.
The only criticism so far would be leveled at the construction which is very lightweight plastic. Of course, if it was sturdier and therefore heavier, you would be less inclined to carry it with you! Only time and use will tell as far as it's longevity is concerned.

I've had the Belkin laptop stand for about two weeks now, and I've been pleasantly surprised at how effective it has been at channeling the heat away from my laptop. When I opened the box and examined the stand, I thought it looked too flimsy to do any good. Now, I find that I use it all the time. True, the flip-out part does little good and I don't use that, but even when I forget to plug in the fan, this stand still keeps my laptop cooler than before.
My laptop's temperature sensor also tells me that the stand is effective. Prior to getting the stand, the sensor ranged from 44 to 51 degrees (Celsius), depending on what I was doing. With the stand, and with the fan running, the temperature usually stays in the high 30s.
I wish Belkin had recessed the plug and provided a channel for the wire, because I occasionally get it tangled with the laptop power cord. But for the price, it's a good investment.

I find that I use this thing all the time. I just wish one of the little fan blades hadn't broken off the second week that I owned it. It's still cooling my laptop but it vibrates a little from ill balance.

A very nice unit, I like the design that blows air on the laptop instead of trying to pull air away. Like a fan you would use to cool yourself. Very quiet and light weight. The only things I could think of to improve would be adjustability and maybe a different color other than white. Otherwise a great unit.

Good case only with Apple ear buds!.......2007-09-26
The case is fine with Apple ear buds. None of the head phones or external speaker jacks that I've tried to use will fit through the hole so you need to remove it from the case to install them. The hole can possibly be drilled larger but I will instead return the case and opt for one that works properly for my situation.

I had the item for about 3 months. I liked everything about the case but the back case seems to fly out if you actually use the carabiner clip which results with your Nano on the street. Finally, I lost the back case and couldn't find it this time. If you don't use the clip then I think you will be alright as I only had the issue when using the clip to attach to a belt or a bag hence the 3 star rating. I am going to
try out the ExtremeMac case next and write a review to see if it works better.
Damage Control for a 9 Year Old.......2007-08-27
I bought this case to protect my 9 year old's new Nano. It does an excellent job of protecting the entire iPod without making it difficult to access the buttons or click wheel--all iPod features operate as if the case isn't even on! It's proven to be extremely protective without compromising the iPod's features.
Too much of a good thing.......2007-08-21
When I first received this case, I was pretty impressed by it - thick, solid. But that turned out to be a problem.
The plastic is so thick, that it prevents you from properly using the click wheel. Whenever I tried to press the Play button, the case forced by finger to end up pressing the center button. I kept having to try to wedge my fingernail down to get the Play button to activate.
While this problem alone was enough for me to abandon this case, there are also two other more minor irritants: (1) the opening for the Hold button is so small, it's almost impossible to access it and (2) the case is a bit slippery.
I used this for two weeks to make sure my evaluation was appropriate - and then gave up on the case. A few small design changes would have been a vast improvement - like beveling the area around the click wheel. That's what the Speck SeeThru-Lucid case does - and that's the one I've gone with.
Nice Idea, Bad Execution.......2007-08-13
I was very excited to receive this case because it sounded like the perfect fit for my needs: good protection that would not limit the functionality or appearance of my ipod.
However perfect it may seem, this case has a few major flaws.
1.) ipod does not fit snuggly in case. There are a few millimeters of extra space between my ipod and the case so that the ipod is able to move up and down/side to side. I suspect that this will case some scratches to my ipod after a few weeks of use.
2.) Case inhibits use of non-apple branded accessories. The case leaves so little space around the headphone jack and docking port that only my apple earbuds and apple charger manage to connect correctly. This means I cannot listen to my ipod in the car without taking it completely out of the case... which makes this case pretty much pointless for me. I am also forced to use the apple earbuds which are too big for my ears.
3.) Case is made of poor quality plastic. Within two days of barely even touching the case it has gotten several deep scratches that will not buff out. The hinges that hold the whole case together seem to be held on by the tiniest piece of plastic imaginable and I would not be surprised if they give out within the first week of use.
I would not buy this case again, and, at 16 Bucks, would say that this is almost a complete waste of money.
Unless you plan to keep your ipod on a shelf and never touch it or try to use it (in which case... why would you even need a case?), I suggest that you look for something else and do not waste your time and money on this piece.

This Belkin F8Z081 Sports Sleeve is working out very well. At first, it was a bit tight but I found if I put it on top of the tee-shirt sleeve, it was not tight and it stayed in place. The case is very nice and useful to leave on the ipod, since it provides a cushion and doesn't interfere with any functionality. I'd buy it again.

This silicone case wasnt exactly what i was looking for but nevertheless gets the job done. It is kind of cheap and leaves the some of the ipod exposed such as the screen and part of the back. The armband works fairly well and was a lot more comfortable than expected. I was trying to get a bargain to protect my ipod by purchasing this product but now i realize I should have just paid the extra ten bucks and gotten a quality product. oh well...

This product was great. However, I did wish that it had a earphone holder since my earphones are pretty long and they were dangling, so i had to stick some of it under the strap, which made the strap just slightly unconfortable. Otherwise this was awesome!

I run 24 miles a week with it and so far have had no problems. Yes, the ipod is difficult to get in and out of the case but so far I have not taken it out of the case- I just remove the arm band and leave the case on. In other words, you can separate the elastic arm band from the ipod case when you're not working out. There is no reason why I've needed to take the case off- all buttons and ports are fully accessible w/ the case on. The arm band seems to be good quality with good velcro; stays snug around my arm, yet stretchy so I can still lift arm weights (biceps) with it on. The rubber case is durable and protects well. Also, there is a screen protector that comes with it. Like another reviewer pointed out, if you do not put the screen protector on the first with no bubbles, you lost your chance to use it. I'm not sure about this- mine went on right the first time.
One reviewer mentioned it bounces around a bit when running. I have not had this problem. I think it would fit most female arms- my upper arm is 10" and it even fits my lower arm snugly (8.5"). I'd definitely recommend this armband to others and would buy another.

Good for DSL Bad for Cable.......2007-09-21
When I got this router I initially had a dsl connection and it worked great with 5 computers using it at the same time. When I switched to a cable connection it seemed to drop signal every few minutes. I am a gamer and it is so frustrating to get disconnected so often from losing your connection. Just to check the router itself I took it to a friend's home who had dsl and again it works great...go figure. So I am back to using my extremely long ethernet cord to connect my laptop.....sigh.
Worst Wireless Router.......2007-09-14
I bought this wireless router to use with my HP notebook. I had it for a few months and it was working PERFECTLY! GREAT speed and all! BUT after a short while, the router decided to work only when IT wanted to work. My laptop detected the router and connected to it no problem, but the router wasn't sending any information to my laptop. SO WEIRD! My boyfriend has the exact same router and had the exact same problem! I would have to unplug the router and let it sit for about a minute in order for it to start working again. I eventually gave up on the router and replaced it with a Linksys. It was good while it was working, but it gave out too soon! I guess thats why Belkins are so cheap.

After dealing with the Belkin "support" people, who I couldn't understand since they can hardly speak English, and having them tell me to reset this thing about five times, they finally agreed that the item was defective. It worked out of the box for about ten minutes. After that all the lights came on solid, and there was no fixing it. Cheaper isn't always better as I have learned the hard way.
Disappointment.......2007-09-06
I purchased this router after a friend recommended the brand. My router did not install as it should of. I spent well over a week calling tech support DAILY, only to keep doing the SAME things over and over again. Two weeks into it, I am STILL "waiting for a level 2 tech" to call me back. I had to pay someone to come to my house and fix it for me. VERY VERY disappointing when something doesn't work and the people who are supposed to help with support issues.....don't!
