This case fits large notebooks and it also fits a few dvds, cds, folders, and files. The pockets are very useful for keeing things organized. It fits my style and I would recommend it to other college students on the go.

We love this product for travel and recently purchased another for our son. It has all the compartments you need and is well made. My husband has been using it for travel for about 6 months and loves it.

Easy to use Rolling Computer case........2007-09-12

This is a multi-purpose case that is an all-in-one travel bag. The only drawback was the 15" removable tote - my computer is a 17". However, it does have another compartment that fits my 17" and I use the removable tote for my 12" portable dvd player (don't like to burn my computer's battery on the road for entertainment purposes).

It has plenty of compartments for my cords, external hard drive and speaker and even my cooling device that sits under my computer. In addition, I can even pack a few clothes for a few days on the road!

Highly recommend!!!

Great Bag; Less than Ideal Handle.......2007-08-19

As has been noted by many reviewers, this is a very large capacity 2-part system with several nice features marred by a mediocre telescoping handle. However, since there isn't an equivalent bag on the market with a great telescoping handle, what are you going to do? Like many things in life, you learn to work around it.

The two bags combined are also surprisingly light given their vast capacity. I examined several equivalent products that could not contain as much and yet weighed quite a bit more.

Overall, if you need to cart a bunch of stuff around, this is about as good as it gets.

The handle takes precious space, adds weight. I would not sacrifice these features just because someone found cheap labor in the world.

Great laptop case. Purchased for my college bound son and am very pleased. The case is sturdy and very roomy. His laptop fits well with room to spare and the side pockets and interior pockets are extremely useful in carrying the extras needed to do assignments while on the road.

Excellent case for the price!.......2007-09-15

This is my first laptop case purchase, and I was not disappointed.

There's enough room to store the 17" laptop, power cable, wired mouse, a couple of tutorial books, my mp3 player, a couple usb sticks, and my leather-bound portfolio (which holds a pad of paper, pens, and other assorted office trinkets).

I've owned it for about a month now and take it to and from work every day and there are no signs of wear or breakdown.

The only downside to carrying all that stuff is it can get quite heavy if you have to lug it for a long period of time. Top notch product!

Perfect sized bag.......2007-09-10

I have a large laptop from dell, which is hard to find a bag for, and if I do its usually way too expensive.This bag fits it perfectly with space leftover on the sides. I can also fit its power adapter, cords, mouse, a few cdrs, pens, paper, etc. Its also very sleek and sturdy and is a great price. It has pretty good padding and a comfortable shoulder strap. I highly recommend it for someone who needs to carry around a big laptop. I love it. And it is a dark black, it looks a bit blue in the picture.

17" laptop case - practical and affordable - in this bag!.......2007-09-10

I bought this case for my daughter to use at college - it was tough to find anything let alone affordable for a 17" laptop. She loves the Case Logic - roomy enough for the extras, lightweight and yet safe for the laptop. Mom and Dad loved the price.

Very good case for the money.......2007-08-24

This case holds my laptop (17") along with the mouse, power cord, mini harddrive, and a lot of other stuff. It has an accessories compartment that has pockets for holding calculators or small hard drives (1.8"), loops for holding pens and pencils, and a mesh net for holding other odd-size items. It has another velcro pocket for papers that can be opened quickly. The good thing is you can use the case without taking the laptop out. The prices is very good and it is a nice looking case for the money. The only thing it lacks is a closable subcompartment in the accessories area (hence only 4 stars). There is a zipper for the main compartment, but it would be better if the little mesh net that's in the compartment had a zipper or velcro closure. Some small items like a USB drive will fall out of it and could get "lost" within the compartment. Otherwise, it is well worth the money.

I bought this backpack a month ago, and it has been a life saver till now, as I am visiting in the US and thus doing a lot of traveling, and I carry even two laptops in it, and ALL the wires , players, and chargers with me.

Pros: very stylish, though doesnt look like a cheap one. Quality is amazing, if you only saw how much stuff I put in it... What is more, the price. I've been searching for a laptop case for about 5-6 hours, and that was probably the cheapest backpack provided by a good brand. Besides all that, the back and the sides of the backpack are hardened real good (trust me, my backpack experienced some serious "flying" in the airport during the luggage check, and still - not even a scratch on any of my machines).

Cons: there is only one tiny con I found - the pocket (or the section, whatever) for the laptop. When you put the laptop in, it is only half covered, and the other half is sticking out, what can result in scrathing, if you're carring some solid material stuff in the backpack, and if it's only the laptop you put in the pocket, there will be looseness.
