Just what I was looking for..........2007-05-21
I searched high and low for a product that would adequately secure my new macbook. Unfortunately, everything I found locally was geared toward the larger PC laptops. On-line, things weren't much better. Even the mac sites had a very limited selection of items that were cost effective as well as sturdy. The Brenthaven Edge I is both. It has a very cool design and does a great job of securing my mac investment. I am confident in transporting my new computer in this sleeve. Great product!
Great case for a MacBook, but go for the black one........2006-12-08
Just bought a MacBook and wanted to make sure it was protected. After looking at the various cases available, I settled on the Brenthaven Edge I in Black. Saw the Light Blue version, and even in the store it was getting dirty already.
The computer fits into the well padded case snuggly. The hard edges give it a more structured look than many of the sleeves available these days. But it's still small enough to fit into a standard backpack when necessary. The handle and shoulder strap are both well-constructed and should maintain their integrity for some time to come.
Be warned, you'll have to carry the power converter separately, as there is no room inside. The Front Row remote fits into the inside pocket nicely though.
After searching several outlets, Amazon has the best price currently available.
Brenthaven Edge I Sleeve (Light Blue).......2006-11-10
A very attractive product, excellent quality for the money. Gets dirty quickly, however, if you carry it around as I do, and the power cord doesn't fit nicely in the case itself. But if you drive in a nice car to work, and don't mind putting the powercord in your other bag, it would work. All in all, a nice product, but I wish I had gotten it in black.

Casio pulled out all the stops when making the LD-80 digital drum. With seven pads, two pedals, and a layout reminding us of the Millennium Falcon, we were a little intimidated at first. The LD-80, however, proved to be an easy instrument to use and navigate. The display and button layout is pretty intuitive.
The ability to plug in and play is great. You could spend a long time just drumming away right out of the box without even getting into the 76 sounds or 20 built-in drum sets. The drum pads have touch response, meaning the harder you hit the louder it is, allowing for the feel of a real acoustic drum set. Indeed, once you plug in the high hat and bass pedal it is hard not to feel like you're playing on a professional acoustic set.
A real drum kit isn't going to be able to switch into lesson mode at the push of a button, though. The LD-80 does just that. And it does it with over 100 built-in auto accompaniment rhythms. The thing that separates the LD-80's lesson mode from that of other digital drum units is that you are able to turn off any of the separate drum, bass, percussion, or chord parts so you can play any part you want or adjust it to your skill level. Casio's Lighting Guide System lights a little red light at the bottom of each pad so following the lesson is easier. The metronome feature is easily accessible and is there to hold the hand of the rhythmically challenged. Add to that the recording function that lets you record your own playing up to 300 notes and we really felt like we could learn something.
In order to fit all this stuff in Casio made the LD-80 almost 2 feet wide and over a foot deep. For the size the LD-80 is very lightweight and doesn't take up much table real estate. If using the provided AC adapter, a pair of your own headphones, both pedals, and a MIDI cable, where to put all the cords can become an issue. We looked at it this way, though: a real acoustic drum set would take up much more room, doesn't have lesson mode, isn't MIDI capable, and won't record you while you play. The LD-80 can do all that and more.
We think pros and beginners alike will find the LD-80 has a lot to offer. Make a little room for it in your studio and it could come in handy all the time. The music student will love all the features of the lesson mode. Beware, though, that with two stereo speakers and the Super Bass option this thing can get pretty loud. But then again, that is where the nice big volume knob and headphone jack come in. --Brian Vandiver

This machine is excellent! It is everything I ever needed to complete my home studio. It is very self-explanatory, too! The sound is perfect and there is a great variety of tempos, etc, they really aid the creative process!
I give this product my highest rating and would encourage anyone else to buy it. Really, you won't be sorry! I've been using it for two years now, and I'm still coming up with new ideas because of this particular machine!

ok, i wrote a review about this product a while back on this same page saying how good it was. I take EVERYTHING i said back. This is bound to be the worst buy I have ever made. I have had this product only 4 months, and three of the pads are broken. 2 will only make a very slight noise when you beat at it as hard as you can, and the other one is completely dead, and i do not believe i hit this drum set any more than anyone else. This machine has great sounds, but it has the worst durability ever. Do not buy this machine, I swear you will regret it, it may be good for little kids wanting to learn to play the drums but for any other use besides that, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

This was a very good gift. My son always wanted to play the drums, but he never had any aquiptment. I boughthim this and he leard by the light teaching device and he is pretty good. I suggest this to anyone who likes to drum

I just got the Casio LD-80 and it's a very nice little piece of equipment. I'm not a drummer, but the sounds seem pretty good to me. The only sound thats really lacking is the bass drum which sounds a little cheesy, but besides that, its got some really good sounds. I'm not a big midi buff, so i couldnt tell u if its a very good for controlling other midi instuments or stuff like that. i just got it so i could record a little rhythym in my songs, and i think it will probably do that nicely. The lesson mode that it includes is very helpful and is great for people that don't know how to drum or at least aren't very good.

Great Product.......2007-03-29
Great product and great service from the seller 'Ebargainhunters' when I bought mine. Received in just a few days. Compressor works great, especially for adding just a couple of lbs of air to a tire. A little bit slow if inflating more than 4 or 5 pounds of air, but not an excessive length of time. Highly recommend this product and would certainly use the seller Ebargainhunters again.

UV Case Lights.......2007-07-12
Tis product lived up to all of my expectations, the cords were long enough to more than reach in my Mid Tower Case to allow for both a top and bottom light. The one small concern I had was that the adhesive to attach the lights to the case was not the best however since my case isn't moved around much this does not cause much concern. You may however need to secure them through some other method if this is an issue for you.

Good Pictures, Battery Hog.......2006-06-20
This camera takes excellent pictures, and the LCD screen to view them is also excellent with its crystal clear display! I find the on screen menu and options to be very helpful, and the one touch flash is pretty neat too, no seperate option it is on the same button as the snap button.
The one problem I run into with this camera because the lense moves in and out it tends to use a ton of juice right away and when it goes in standby to deploy the lense. Other than quickly going through batteries (and they are rechargable) this camera is makes great pictures, and hold a ton too! I have yet to use the video mode, but that is why I have a camcorder isn't it?

I have had this camera for a while now and I have to say it takes excellent pictures and is easy to use. I am really suprised that it was given negative reviews. I rarely write reviews, but felt that people were definately being unfair in this case. I would recommend this camera to anyone (and have on several occasions).
The only thing that I would have liked is better quality and audio in video mode - but I don't think that you will find this much in most cameras in this price range.
This camera is a great value. That being said, I think that the Kodak Easy Share 753(5.0 MP) is even better if you can find it for a similar price.
Good pics but poor in mechanics.......2005-03-14
I bought the Concord at a reduced price and have taken some excellent pictures with it. Then problems occurred. The camera just stopped working. I sent it back to the company and got a replacement camera--without the memory card, which I had in the original. This is a small irritant but seemed sort of chintzy of Concord. Now, I have a camera full of pics in the internal memory that I cannot download using both the Concord-supplied software or any other. I keep getting the error message that there are no pics in the camera, yet I can click on to see the pics are stored inside. I'm very dissatisfied with this camera.
Good Value. .......2004-12-25
I just read all the reviews on this model and was a little confused as the negativity of many of them does not correspond with the item I purchased. I know that the camera I bought has been easy to use and has produced quality pictures. I can conceed that many of the nighttime shots I've taken have produced "red eyes" in many of the people in them, but other than that, I have no complaints. Furthermore, I've had few cameras in my life where this did not happen at one time or another. The price was excellent, and frankly, although there are undoubtedly far better cameras out there, if the cost had been higher I would not have purchased a camera at all. The software is easy to use and the rechargeable batteries are preferrable to the ones I bought from Kodak for my old 2 pixel cam. Those batteries often died after a set of pictures had been taken. Overall, I'm getting decent pictures from this serviceable model and it's worth the money I spent.
Dont be fooled by no name brands.......2004-12-04
Even thought Concord may seem like a no-name brand, they are affiliated with polaroid. I purchased the 4360z and found it to be useful, except for the video mode, it had no sound. Well, it eventually had trouble with the internal firmware, and I called to company to exchange it, customer service was superb. They tell you exactly where to return the camera, but you have to have a valid proof of purchase, and it has to be under the warranty, 90 days or 1 year I believe. Well, I sent it, and to my surprise, they sent back the eye q 4363z, which was more advanced, had way more features, and included video with sound. I think instead of purchasing the 4360 you should purchase the 4363. For the 4360 I give it 1 star, but for customer service, 5 stars.
