The Canon EOS Rebel K2 SLR, with the 28-90 zoom lens is a good buy. Camera stores in my area (NW Arkansas) can't even come close to the price I paid for a new camera. It's light, easy to carry and it has an automatic point and click feature that makes this amateir look better than he is.
Cheaply Made. Huge Disappointment........2007-08-25
This camera is cheap. It even feels cheap. The first time we loaded film, it jammed and has never worked since. I have for years bought only Canon products which is why I purchased this replacement for an older Canon Rebel (which I loved) that had dropped and broke. Now I'm so turned off by this poorly manufactured Canon product that I'm looking to replace all of my lenses so that I can find a system that's better made.

I had been looking at 35mm cameras for months trying to decide. I had originally decided on an Olympus IS-50, but then found this wonderful contraption and went with it instead. I could not be happier, I have taken many pictures and the only way they could be better is if I were a better photographer. This camera is wonderful, and I'm very very happy with it's performance. The only down side is that some of the controls and settings are a bit over my head but that will all change with time and research on photography. Wonderul product! Worth every cent.

The AT-EX1002 extends Gigabit Ethernet distances up to 2 km (1.25 miles) using multi-mode fiber and features one 1000SX fiber port and one 1000X fiber port. The 1000SX port extends distances up to 500 m (1, 666 ft) while the 1000X port can extend distances up to 2 km (1.25 miles), both in full-duplex operation. Additionally, the AT-EX1002 can be used as a standalone tabletop unit or in an optional rackmount such as the AT-MCR12, TRAY4 or TRAY1 chassis. Frequently, the high-speed fault-tolerant features of Fiber Distributed Data Interface (FDDI) have been used to build backbone networks. However, the growth of new applications that require extremely high rates of throughput, greater than that allowed by FDDI, have emerged and in many cases exceeded the capabilities of FDDI. Examples of high demand network applications include streaming audio and video content. The solution for many FDDI networks is to migrate FDDI to Gigabit Ethernet, which offers the same resiliency as FDDI with greater bandwidth capability. However, one of the principal disadvantages to migrating from FDDI to Gigabit Ethernet has been the cost of replacing the legacy multi-mode fiber optic cabling of the FDDI topology to one designed for Gigabit Ethernet. Currently, Gigabit Ethernet transmission on multi-mode fiber is limited to a maximum of 550 m (1830 ft) on 50/125 micron fiber and 275 m (916 ft) on 62.5/125 micron fiber. In network configurations requiring greater distances, network administrators have been confronted with the choice of either retaining FDDI and its lower bandwidth or replacing the existing multi-mode fiber cable with single-mode cable, usually at great cost. Good when it works.......2007-06-12
We have had for 9 months and it has worked good up until now. We have not even used the player that much and now there is a loose connection somehwere between the screen and the player. It has been taken well care of and has not been exposed to anything harmful whatsoever. We cannot open the screen past 90 dgrees or the screen will blank out...sound still works for what its worth since the volume is a big weakness. Regardless of where you may read about a year warranty, there is only a 90 day warranty on these and customer service can be difficult to locate. Astar has offred to fix for a $35 fee, but I would rather spend that money on a brand we can trust. I would spend your money on a different brand altogether.

I have used this DVD player for a few years now, and it still works wonderfully. The buttons are well labeled on the player. The DVD's speakers are not very loud; thus, it is helpful to use a headset. The screen is not powerful under the sun, but I haven't seen any electronics that has a powerful screen under this particular condition. I use the player to connect to the TV sometimes, and the effort to connect the player to the TV is minimal. I like the remote that comes with the player when I am using it with the TV. I have not encountered any major problems with the player, and I would recommend this player to anyone.

I have an 18 month old child and this DVD player has been a lifesaver. We purchased this player before a long airline flight this summer. The picture quality is phenomenal and the player is very easy to operate. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a low cost portable DVD player. I do have two issues with the product. 1) The sound without headphones is not great. This was not too much of an issue for me right now, but certainly something you should know prior to buying this unit.
2) The design for the battery is a pain. first you have to pull out about 4 small rubber pieces before inserting the battery. The small pieces do not stay latched on so this could be a choking hazard or can be very easy to lose.
Overall, the player met my expectations and I am very satisfied.

This card is awesome for the price. No rebates needed. I have an Audiovox PPC 4100 Phone edition that would lock up everytime I tried to make a call. I thought something was wrong with the phone/ pocket pc itself but after I upgraded to the memory stick all problems dissapeared. Super fast write/ read. Definately recommed this product.

Considering that this isn't the most advanced memory card on the planet it does a very good job. I use it to store music for my handheld computer. I have nearly 250 songs on, with room for about another 25 or so before it runs out of memory. It works without any problems when connected to my handheld or my desktop. It was worth the money for what I use it for.
