a lot of E18 Error on this camera!.......2007-09-05

My Camera SD450 Digital ELPH (5M) is just 15 months old.. Upon searching
from the web, a lot of Canon customers have this E18 error, which pertains
to the lens not extending/retracting properly.. I wasted my money on this.
I thought Canon is a good brand for cameras, apparently not!

I have owned this camera for over a year now. I have over 2000 pictures I have posted on Flickr with it, and many more on my computer. I bought it originally to take on vacation and take pictures of the kids, and it has been in my pocket nearly every day since. It is so small, and so fast, I have no reason to leave it at home.

This is my second digital camera I have owned, but have used many, and using other people's camera, even just to take a few shots for them, reminds me of why I love mine so much.

We've had this camera for over a year and enjoy using it.
I am not an expert, and the camera has features we've never used, but we are very satisfied with it. It is so easy to use and takes good pictures. It is also very small and easy to carry. We bought the Canon leather case for this model, which protects it and is no trouble to use. We also bought a 2-gig SD card, and it holds tons of pictures. We have no complaints!

Good little unit for the price.......2006-04-14

I purchesed my unit about a month ago. It's been with me ever since, and has held up remarkbly well, considering it's rather fragile appereance. The battery life is also pretty good, getting a few weeks instead of a few days like any other cd player. It's playing back of mp3's is also pretty good. Found nothing really to complain with there.
If your looking for a sturdy-type cd/mp3 player, this one gets a recamendation from me...

This kit is just junk. The "deluxe blower brush" is a cheap plastic blower in the tiniest size. There is a "tweezers" that is just folded aluminum sheet metal - there's no way that is getting anywhere near my cameras. There are a few sheets of lense tissue and a few swabs to use with the cleaning solution. The "lintless cleaning cloth" is an about 3" x 5" piece of something akin to reusable paper towels that you'll use about three times and then throw away. This kit is not worth buying at any price, because it's not worth the shipping charges.

It goes in the black slot, not the color slot. When you have the photo and regular color cartridge in your printer it produces better looking photos. Instead of only having four colors to print with (black, cyan, magenta, and yellow) it now has six colors. Photo inkjet cartridges are great for people who print lots of photos or color documents but not recommended for people who print mainly text. This is because the photo cartridge has about a third as much black ink in it compared with a black cartridge. Once this ink is out the cartridge has to be replaced. Even if the light cyan and light magenta sections are full of ink you will need a new cartridge. Printers these days print photos well with four colors but excellent with six colors.

Perfect pictures.......2001-11-06

If you like to print pictures you better have this cartridge. I printed some pictures with the regular cartridges that came with my Lexmark Z52 and they came out alright but skin tones didn't come out all that great. When I got this cartridge my pictures came out so good you couldn't tell the difference between them and a real print. The cartridge is kind of expensive when printing pictures it sometimes will be gone with 20 prints. But its no doubt worth it compared to actually paying for developing pictures.

I have a Lexmark Z22. I use the photo cartridge, along with the HP Premuim Plus paper (not the premium -- the premium PLUS), and I get fantastic results. Mind you, I'm not doing digital photography for sale; I'm printing baby pictures for framing and making memory books, but I'm really surprised. The quality is as good as what you get from WebShots, and I have the added advantage of being able to crop and edit at-will with Photoshop. Plus, you don't have the nonsense of trying to load all of the pages up onto the Web. I'm very satisfied, and I admit, really pleasantly surprised.

This cartridge works great with my Z31 (unfortunately not for my Z11, according to the Lexmark website). Yields great color for my photo prints!

This is a great value if you don't need colored ink for standard documents.It's still a very sharp image and costs a few bucks less than the color cartridge.I highly reccomend this to anyone.
