well, I received the item I ordered, plugged it in, it didn't work. so I thought, maybe bad connection, so I plugged it in to another unit, it still didn't work, so, I plugged in the keyboards I was using, they worked. I am not going to send the unit back as I have thrown it away in the trash..I don't want my money back or a credit because it was a cheap item anyway. Lesson learned, don't buy cheap stuff.

First, let me explain to you that this is intended for PS2, however it works for PC, and perhaps anything with a USB connection. (not tested on anything else besides ps2 and xbox)

However, it is very slim, the buttons are smaller, (especially number and f buttons) and the keys themselves don't have much press. By that I mean you don't push as hard or as far as a traditional keyboard. Combined with the small key size this becomes a nuisance with touch typists like myself.

However, for it's purpose as a PS2 keyboard, it fulfills its role, as I only use it to text chat in a small handful of games. (madden, etc.) However if your playing a game that relies heavily on it, I'd pass for a more traditional approach.

I plugged this into my PC to mess around with, and along with the touch problems mentioned above, it was not helpful in any way. Since you often use several keys and key combos in pc games, the feel was just off, along with the horrid size and complete absence of certain keys. (numpad and home/end/insert/pageup/pagedown/delete). So I would not recommend this as a keyboard to help save your normal one from wear and tear, as I said it's feel is just too far off for a pc keyboard.

With that, if your planning on using this as a external laptop keyboard or something similar, again I would not recommend it for that use.

This keyboard is great, for a very cheap affordable PS2 compatible keyboard that you most likely will very scarcely use with various online games, when the people you are playing/talking to do not or the game does not support voice.

Very satisfied replacement for Adcom GFA-545.......2004-02-22

When my Adcom GFA-545 died, I was shocked to see the prices for the new Adcom amps. I decided to take a chance on the AMP3 and am very satisfied with the sound and apparent quality of the AMP3. I had a simple question for tech support and was able to reach them by phone with no wait. So far, so good. I just hope it last 15 years like my Adcom. I would then give it 5 stars.

I have been researching LCD`s on AMAZON for weeks and chose the Audiovox.You can`t beat the price, for a edtv as well as hdtv ready.The unit is attractive and ultra slim. It has all the possible hook-ups you need...except a PC monitor(which I was`nt looking for anyway).The picture quality is very good as well as the sound,Stereo & SRS.The Wall-Mount which is included is top of the line and very easy to install with all mounting hardware included.The provided remote is simple to use and the on-screen menu is a dream. The only negitive is the sound delay when changing channels.(16 mila-seconds)No big deal.All&All great little TV.

Horrible.......2007-03-14

As many have noticed, this system has serious interference issues. There is a constant loud humming sound , and radio interference in both speakers. I have tried putting in multiple RF chokes on all the wires in vain. I spent only $20 on it through rebates, and i am glad that i did not have to shell out 50 bucks for it! Maybe if you live in the middle of nowhere with no radio station around for 100s of miles, it might work well....

I bought these speakers from an electronic's store nearby a few months ago for its looks and price, and after about 3 months, the left speaker blew out! I also found this annoying humming noise that appears whenever i place my cell phone or homephone by them. It really bothers me. Also, when someone calls, it begins humming even before i hear the ring. As i was looking at the other reviews, i believe that its because of the air waves - transmissions. It is a good price, but not worth it for long - term use.

I bought these from a local retail store. They sound great. Except when my downstairs neighbor uses her cell phone. A very loud buzzing/beeping occurs at seemingly random intervals. This happens even when the power is off! I suspect that the cable between the controls and the subwoofer is picking up some kind of interferance...and that the stupid subwoofer is always powered on.

Tired of crawling under the desk a few times a day to unplug these things, I smashed them with a hammer and called it even.

Do not buy these speakers.......2005-01-03

I am using these speakers with an IPOD. The satellite speakers and the subwoofer all give out a white noise hiss, even with the volume turned all the way down and even with the IPOD disconnected from the speakers. By placing the subwoofer under my bed, the hiss is not noticable because it is absorbed before it can be dispersed. With the volume turned up, the hiss is not noticeable. Although they do not produce enough power to shake the room, I find them adequate for use in my bedroom.
I am surprised and a bit disappointed that Altec Lansing would sell a product having such a problem. However, because I ended up paying only $20 for the speakers after two rebates, I have decided to temporarily keep them for now. Just remember that they are definitely not worth the $50 most retailers are asking for them.
Since I enjoy soft music, where the hiss is more evident, I will probably give them away this spring and replace them with a system having no background noise.

I just bought this system and the sound you get for the price is fabulous. True you can spend more and get even greater capability but if you're an average listner and aren't going to blast away at top volume all day long, you can't beat them.
I am thinking of getting another set for my office. Great sound!

Great Value & How to Optimize Picture Settings.......2001-10-02

This is a great 32 incher, especially when you consider the price. The picture is not perfect out of the box but, with a little adjustment it is as good as many of the more expensive models available. To get the best picture, I followed this advice:
"reduce the setting of the picture control from 50 to 15, brightness from 25 to 21, and sharpness from 25 to 15. Color ended up at 37, while tint was adjusted to +4G. the color-temperature setting should be switched to the RED."

A REAL SHARP PICTURE.......2001-02-26

I have had this television for about two months and my familyhas enjoyed it. I purchased it . . . at the Good Guys, and it has exceeded my expectations. The sound is great and the picture is very good. I do not think a person can go wrong buying it. The warranty is also good. The only problem I had was actually finding one because the set was very popular and I had to wait for a month until the store got some more sets.

Great TV, Great Picture, Must rebuttle negative reviews!.......2001-01-16

Reading the review posted here by someone else made me feel I needed to let other consumers know that the other review just wasn't accurate. If you can't get great skin tones and a great clean, crisp picture out of this TV with S-video, dark-tint picture tube, and a digital comb filter, then the TV isn't the problem, you are! This Set has all these features plus PIP, MTS Stereo sound and even a handy "glow plus" remote. I just got this TV and with my DVD player connected using the S-Video input and leaving the picture settings just the way they came (factory default) I see a picture quality that is great in every sense of the word. Hearing that people can't get skin tones right and things like this are just nonsense. If you can't get your DVD's right, there are Calibration discs that can be purchased that walk the novice through setting up the proper color and sound settings. There is NO REASON that ANYONE should have to revert back to a 14YEAR OLD TV and say that it has better picture quality than this one. That is just plain crazy. Digital comb filters and S-Video inputs were not on TV's 14 years ago and with 750 lines of resolution, no 14 year old TV would ever match the wonderful picture and crisp clarity (and skin tones) that this Sharp 32NS400 has done or me. If you can't get the picture looking great on this TV, you probably shouldn't own a TV in the first place.

Nice feaures for the money, but poor picture quality.......2000-12-17

I'm a stickler for honest, accurate skin tones. But no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get it right with this TV. I finally had to return it and go back to my 14 year old 25" RCA which has more accurate hues than this Sharp.

Very good television set @ a great price........2000-09-19

I purchased this Sharp 32" a few months back while shopping around for a good Picture-In-Picture television set, and things have been pretty smooth so far.

Some of the features include the V-Chip, which the government is trying to push, A/V jacks in the back and front (great for video game systems!), and an S-Video input, which is great for DVD players or a mini-dish if you want the very best picture quality. I plugged in my DVD player using the audio jacks, and S-Video for the picture, and haven't looked back. Videos and DVD discs look wonderful on this set. I actually did a side-by-side comparison with my old set, and noticed that the picture and contrast was much more detailed on the Sharp (guess that's why they call it "Sharp"!)

There are also plenty of little things that make this set worth the money. One is the "EquiSound" feature, which keeps sound at the level you place it at, and prevents the annoying jump in volume on commercials/TV shows when you surf. I also love how the Closed captioning feature pops right up when you hit the mute. Very handy if the phone rings and you need to talk. The menu is pretty simple to use, and the stereo sound is pretty good. There's an interesting EnergySaver feature, which some will probably like. I've got mine set to "off" though, as it seems to make the overall picture a little darker. The SAP (secondary audio program) function is built in. Stations like A&E, and PBS are now broadcasting shows with SAP, and I think more will follow. It's nice to be able to just turn it on at the menu, and listen to commentary from a director while a movie is playing, or instructions/tips from teachers during some of the popular children shows.

To me, the only downside to the set is the remote control. Now don't get me wrong, it's a good Universal remote that can control your VCR as well. The glow-in-the-dark buttons are very nice too. I guess I'm just not fond of the design. It seems a bit clumsy for such a wonderful, easy to use set.

Nonetheless, if you can get this Sharp PIP for anywhere under $600, then you got yourself a bargain. You just can't beat the price, as other sets with the same features cost as much as $800!
