I havent really used these controllers, so dont listen to the score I gave it. I'm just reporting to you that Xbox versions of those lovely controllers are coming soon. They will be available on the release date of the Xbox version of Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, which will feature the whole Playstation 2 version of the game along with Xbox Live play. The confimed charecters are Akuma and Cammy so far, but there are a few others. If I only waited for the Xbox version... For any true Street Fighter fan, this is a dream come true! Available in February.

Amazon doesn't carry it for some reason, or the Chun-Li controller. Oh well, they're all the same save the hologram/colors.

Simply put, you'll -need- this controller if you want to enjoy the Street Fighter Anniversary Collection on the ps2. Oh heck, you'll need it for any 2D fighter. The ps2's controller isn't the best for fighting games as we all know. Just look at the divided d-pad. It makes for terrible fireball motions. In all honesty, I played the SF:AC for about 20 minutes before putting it down because of the bad controls. So just yesteday I bought the Akuma controller and it makes a drastic difference. I don't even want to touch that regular ps2 controller unless it's for a game that requires the analog sticks. The feel of this sucker is great. It's incredibly light, the shape's perfect for fighting games, the six button layout works perfectly, and low and behold: the d-pad is connected. Pulling off fireballs, hurricane kicks and dragon punches (something I couldn't even think about doing on the regular controller) is a second nature now. Even the select and start buttons, which look oddly placed in pictures, are easily accessable. Plus all the buttons are bigger than those on the ps2's regular controller, so you won't be accidentally hitting any of the others. There are 2 shoulder buttons (L2 and R2) as well. The only problem you have to watch out for is when you play Third Strike or Hyper SF2, because the default controls are set in a dumb fashion. Once you plug this baby in, immediately change the L1 and R1 buttons to hard punch and hard kick so they match the row the other attacks are on. The controllers also come with a bonus comic and 2 small SF:AC decals. I enjoyed the comic, even if it contradicts the plot from the SF2 comics from the early/mid 90's. But we all know how great Capcom is as far as linking the SF games together. Finally, the box this gem came in is fantastic. I'll probably throw it on a shelf somewhere. It's pure art.

That's all there is to it. The price is pretty good, and the design's great. Each controller for the ps2 comes with a hologram in the middle of it, composed of 3 frames. You won't be paying too much attention to it in the middle of a Third Strike match, but it makes a nice display piece. As of right now, I know of the following designs: Akuma, Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li (those four are for the ps2) and Sagat, Cammy, Zangief and Guile. Yeah, the Xbox people get screwed over there with lame characters, which is one of the main reasons I got the ps2 version. Oh well. All that's missing here is an arcade stick, but you can go and get those seperately. Capcom did a great job here, and hopefully some other companies will take note (so help me god if they don't make Guilty Gear ones). I just might have to pick up another version for a second player even if I don't play against others that much.

I have two mounted outside for patio/pool coverage and they sound great. The problem is as reviewer #1 said, the wall mounts are plastic and one of mine is broken, hanging by the speaker cable. I can't find where to get a replacement mount. If you know where I can buy another one please email me! Thanks.

The sound is fine, but I broke it before I could even get it on the wall. The stands are made of a plastic that broke under minimal pressure when I was trying to adjust the angle. I'd recommend a different model.

When I originally saw the review from Amazon, I thought I would try them. I am glad I did! They do have great bass for their size. I have been wanting to upgrade my home theater system without breaking the bank so I purchased these to go along with the Audio Source SW12 Powered Subwoofer also from Amazon. They all work FANTASTIC together! The only reason why I gave them four stars(which should be four and a half) is because they lack just alittle on the high end. But that's O.K. since I have had a pair of Super Tweeters from Radio Shack that were used on my old speakers. I just really like to here super crisp highs as well as the mid and the bass. These Project Ones really provide good mid bass and mid-range to use in your home theater. I recommend the use of six of these(since they are sold in pairs)to use for your home theater. That gives you two for the front, two for the rear and two placed side by side for the center channel. Don't forget the Audio Source subwoofer either.

The picture display on this tv looks execellent. The sound is clear and big. The unit is a little bulky but not as big as 5 inch tv use to be about 2 years ago. The product features says the unit runs on 4 AA batteries. The unit I received runs on 4 D batteries. Also on some web sites shows the unit to have a am/fm radio which is not true. The battery life is very good I ran the the unit about 9 hours before changing the batteries. I really don't like the purple knobs but you get use to it.

This little camcorder is a great piece of eqipment! The video quality definately isn't the best, but it is good for the price. It holds many still pictures, which are great, and you can use the flash strobe. Videos, however, must be shot in a well lit area, because it doesn't work well in low light situations. Another thing... the support is EXCELLENT. I dropped this camcorder a few times(on accident) and the small front piece broke off. I could have easily put it back on, but I kind of lost it... Anyways, I went on aiptek.com, emailed the support center and told them what happened, by the next week they sent me the new piece free! This camcorder is perfect for beginners.

Having some fun with this mpeg recorder.......2004-07-20

Currently I have a Canon Powershot 230 Elph, which I am very happy with. However the 3 minute videos it captures are not in an mpeg format that I could email or playback without Canon's software.

Picked this DV4500 up for $120. and have found it very easy to use. Records mpegs, which are not the greatest quality, but very good for the price paid for it. Small and light enough to carry anywhere, about the size of the Elph camera 2" x 4". Using it to record and keep on a CD my 3 1/2 yr. old daughter singing songs and dancing, just family things that I can email to relatives...easier and better than sending cards. Think you will be happy with it if you are just looking for an inexpensive, convenient mpeg recorder. Heard Best Buy stopped selling it because it was cutting into their high-end priced video camera sales.

This is a great little camra. it doesnt hold much Video but takes Great still Pics. The camra can hold a lot of still pics and the come out looking great. Ever since i got this i have not taken it out of my pocket. It is a very usfull litlle thing if you like taking quick pics.
It may be great to use but the soft wear is not great. But i am happy with what i got and i think if you like taking pics buy this camra.

As of this date (June 2004) the Windows XP USB drivers (updated version 1.1 from the Aiptek web site) for this camera seem troublesome. The Aiptek web site does not offer useful troubleshooting for this relatively new model as of yet. Do not buy this newly released camera at this point.

Spend a little extra and purchase another brand.......2005-10-05

I've used Verbatim refurbished toner cartridges for the last decade with good results but decided to try the Amazon Imaging Inc. toner at 1/2 the price (There is no affiliation with Amazon.com). The first one jammed after 50 good quality prints. It was tested on two other machines with the same results. I had to pay $8.00 for return since they have a policy of not paying for return postage with their RMA. The replacement was worse. It sounded like the gears were grinding. It was also tested on another machine with the same results. Again, I have to pay for return and they will not refund my money (company policy) but offered credit toward their other products. Customer support was helpful but I have little confidence in their product. There is a reason why their products are so inexpensive, lack of quality assurance.

These made it to the bottom of the toy box pretty quickly. Four AAA batteries are just not enough to keep these working long enough for any kind of fun. A shame.

We bought this about 2 1/2 years ago and haven't had any problems with it. We use it almost every day - our daughter takes one when she goes playing with her friends and I keep the other one with me (so we can be in contact at all times).-
I like the 2 mile range, but what I like most about this one, compared to other walkies, are the subchannels, they give you a bit more privacy.
