Casio Ladies Dress Watch.......2007-09-10

This is the 3rd time I have purchased this model of Casio Watch over the past 7-9 years. I am very hard on watches (something with my chemistry), but his digital watch seems to stand up well. I love the timer feature and use it often.

I couldn't get anything done without this watch! I use the countdown feature for everything. It's a great reminder system when you are multi-tasking so you don't forget the eggs boiling on the stove while you are unloading the washer etc. The little beeper keeps me on task and is just the ultimate timer from flipping steaks on the grill to any chore that needs to be timed. I buy a new one every two years. Hope they never stop making this model. Wish it came in GOLD!

Beware erroneous description - bracelet is not expansion type.......2007-06-10

I agree with the previous reviewers on all counts. This watch is very smart, light & sweet looking. However, the negative aspects are: no light, no date, and the clasp comes apart very easily.

The description gives the erroneous impression the strap is the expansion type, but in fact it is a metal strap with a clasp that can slide up & down one arm, to a length that fits you. I can see why one of the previous reviewers lost her watch: it is very easy not to snap the clasp closed properly. It came apart on me more than once and, the watch being so light, it is quite easy not to notice it has gone!

I am quite disappointed with this strap, and considered getting a genuine expansion one which was what I had wanted. However, this turned out to cost more the the watch itself! If, like me, you are looking for a watch with an expansion type strap, Timex does them much better but unfortunately, and disappointingly, does not do them in digital form....

Countdown watch - time things easily.......2007-06-08

Not a stopwatch, this watch allows you to easily measure 5, 10, 15 minutes, or up to an hour by just pushing a simple button as many 5 minute segments as you need.

My wife measures her life with it.

Need to free yourself up from a tedius phone call or office visitor? Just push the button and when the alarm goes off - you have an appointment or call to make you just remembered!

Good looking, non-alergic, sturdy!

Also available in black plastic, but why would you want that?

Fun watch.......2007-07-24

I had one of this watch myself a few years ago, one day we had history at the school and we were watching a film, about WWRII. I turned off the TV, each time, the teacher turned on. She was so surprised, what's wrong with the TV, and she was thinking probably it's because of the weather is too warm. But it was not the case, only a few of my classmates knew that it was me that was turning off the TV. hehehe....but eventually more students found out that it was me, and then the teacher.The teacher didn't become angry or something, because she was a nice teacher. I used that watch for a total of four years, and worked very well. until one day it ran out of battery, and tried to replace a new battery but I couldn't do. and didn't work anymore... you can buy, and its fun.

O.K. the watch is awesome. You will have to program the watch to work on certain t.vs and boxes. It comes w/ directions so it will be easier than you think it might be. you have to be kinda close to the t.v. to get the watch to respond to the it.
it is also pretty fun to run around and click t.v.s on and off. especially in school. just dont get caught and make sure the tvs are the right kind.

Why don't more watches have this feature? I use it many times a day for all sorts of purposes and it was especially useful when I was a daycare teacher. I don't even know how many times I have purchased another one of these watches --- perhaps one a year for the last 20 years? The little plastic holders for the watch band always break eventually, but the watch is so cheap that it doesn't really matter. I gave it 5 stars because, for me, it IS the best watch even though it is plastic, kind of ugly, and doesn't last long. It's the countdown timer!

best digital watch ever.......2007-05-20

As soon as I lost my first watch of this type, and ordered a new one. It's small and unobtrusive but has plenty of easy to use functions: an alarm clock, an optional hourly beep, the date and say, a stop watch (I use it to time my running), and my favorite feature, a timer. It will count down from 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 minute times and will beep for a couple seconds. This is great when I'm cooking or baking, because I can set the timer and go into other rooms and not worry about missing the beep.
The three buttons are also really easy to use; I didn't even need the instruction booklet.
The only drawback I can think of is that the plastic band sometimes gets a little sweaty/sticky is it's hot out.
