Great kit until I came to use the 2nd battery, first was perfect. Stuck second in charger and 3 flashing lights ( defective battery). Mailed Amazon and was told to mail Dewalt, Dewalt never answered. Called the hotline , told battery's not covered and told to contact Amazon. Send Amazon second mail and no reply.
I buy a lot of stuff from here and this is the first problem I have ever experienced but to know that there is absolutely no support for defective items is an eyeopener, now I shop with that in mind. Saving a few bucks with Amazon does not make up for a dead $143 battery.

Well Worth the Money!.......2007-09-11
I have been through several cheap "boom boxes" and none of them hold up on the job site. The buttons get full of debris, and the antenna always snaps off. I got sick of it and bought the Milwaukee! What a great decision. This radio has a great fit and finish and you can tell it is heavy duty as soon as you pick it up. It is made to take a beating and it sound great! Just buy it!

A great radio suitable for anywhere........2007-08-09
How I wish I had purchased this radio in the first place. It's tough, it's compact, and it has great sound that would be equally at home in the work site, gym, garage, kitchen, dorm, or wherever.
Only lacking a CD player, this "box" has everything else, including a storage bag, pass-thru plug, clock, etc. I purchased another "box" at considerably higher expense, only to wish I had spent more. I actually spent about the same on this machine, and it's superior in every way and might actually take a couple hits without crumbling. It's meant to be moved and carried around.
Whether or not you use Milwaukee tools and batteries, this is the choice for workplace radios. Someone broke in my workplace last spring and stole my last one. Now THAT'S a sincere endorsement!
Milwaukee Jobsite Radio-tough as nails, but not for the audiophile.......2007-07-19
So far I've been impressed by how well made this puppy is. The body is well isolated from impacts by a robust handle and a broad base. The base has rubber feet which, combined with its over sized dimensions provide excellent stability. The speaker grills are metal, so there's little chance of ruining one with an errant tool or the like.
I like the accessory bag on the back. I keep an extra iPod cable and a DC phone charger in it all the time (the radio has a 12V cigarette-lighter-style outlet). When I hook up the iPod, I just toss it in the bag, zip it up and I don't have to worry about it getting filthy.
On the downside, this thing ain't light, nor small, so keep this in mind if you haul your stuff around in a smaller vehicle. The audio quality is so-so, but then again, I'm partially deaf (or so my wife tells me), so I don't really mind. Besides, I listen mostly to talk radio, so the fact this thing is LOUD is most important - particularly on the job site.
Now if only I could figure out how to set the clock...
Great Sound, descent product overall..........2007-07-16
Many of my fellow workers have the DeWalt Jobsite Radio, and the reception isn't always that great--so I thought I'd be different, and get the Milwaukee Radio. I even bought the 24V Li-Ion battery (ouch!), and unfortunately had to buy a charger separately as well (because there's not one built in). Overall, a nice radio, sounds great, but, maybe because my battery isn't broke in, I'm not overly impressed with battery life yet. I'm not sure that the reception is better than other boom-boxes, as I'm often in rural areas struggling for reception. Would be great for anyone who already has Milwaukee cordless tools, and loves great sound--also like that it has AM, and Aux plugin for MP3,or Cd player. It does however need a built in charger, and maybe get rid of the big knobs that could be destroyed in a fall, and replaced with flush-mount rocker switches, thus making this a nearly perfect product.

Better than expected.......2007-09-08
I received my four Sanus System speaker stands and was pleasantly surprised by their quality, and by how easy they were to assemble. They fit and hold my Klipsch Quintet speakers perfectly -- with the brackets specially designed for this model of speakers. The stands also come with several plates that fit a variety of speaker types.
The stands are easy to adjust up and down, and are not top heavy with my speakers. While the black coating is very nice, it is loosely bonded to the metal. I dropped a screw on the floor plate and it nicked the paint to bare metal.
By the way, I found the instructions easy to understand and follow, so perhaps they have been updated.
Here's a tip during assembly, especially if you are using 14-ga lamp cord: insert the cord into the tubes before you screw the tube to the floor plate.
Final comment: great stands at a great price. Highly recommended.
Fits JBL SCS300SAT / SCSSAT300.......2007-08-16
I went through numerous "universal" stands, none of which fit the JBL satellites (SCS300)since they are oddly shaped speakers. The main mounting hole in the middle of the pole fits the odd pole mount that comes with the JBL speakers. Just screw the pole on the base and scre the speaker onto the pole. Piece of cake.
Nice looking stands and sturdy.
I have an old pair of Sanus stands that also had the appropriate hole so I'd assume any sanus stand should fit the JBLs but can't confirm.

I did a lot of research before I got these speaker stands. As it turns out, I have Infinity Modulus surround speakers and I wanted something easily compatible with them. These stands, though they don't mention it, contain something called a Modulus stud that screws into the ball on the bottom of the Modulus speakers. They work really well, though the bases are a little larger than I would have liked to have had. They will definately support a large speaker. The Modulus speakers are about 6 pounds and there was no problems with the weight.
Great stands for mid sized bookshelfs.......2007-04-30
I've got a pair of Infinity Primus 150s sitting on these stands and everything is fine. The Primus are about 13lbs and to be honest I wouldn't go above that because the stands get top heavy and can easily get knocked over. My stands are at the maximum height so that's the reason for the warning.
I'm going to get another pair for the rear speakers in my set since I just painted my room and don't want to put holes in the walls.
I recommend these stands to anyone with bookshelves up to 13 lbs...They may be rated lower than that but they can take it if they are not at maximum height.

The stands themselves were better than I expected. They are very sturdy. I also liked the weight of the stands. We have several pets and I am not worried about them knocking over the stands. My only dissapointment was the M4 screws that attach the base to the pipe. I ended up substituting high quality stainless steel screws to get a real good grip into the pipe threads.

Couldn't hang speakers.......2007-02-17
These stands arrived as promised, but unfortunately they weren't set up for us to be able to hang our speakers on them as expected. The hole provided was too small for our model. However, we were able to use the sticky tabs included and they have been strong enough to hold the speakers. They seem to be working just fine so far.

I found the speaker stands to be of good quality and construction. The cast iron bases keep the stands secure. The verticle tubing is off set to keep the speakers on a verticle plain which helps balance. The tubing is adjustible for various heights.The base is black with the tubing a silver color which matches most of the products sold today. The speakers I have are silver with black screens. The stands come with several options of hardware which will accomodate the mounting of most all small to medium speakers. I am very well satisfied with the speaker stands and would recomend them to anyone that wants to mount their speakers.

Was first drawn to them based on price so I took a chance and ordered them. They came in a small box so I thought this must be a mistake or the wrong item but when I opened the box it was correct. After 10 minute assembly procees (very easy) I had my speakers (bose cubes)attached and the wires ran through them. Very sturdy and the height, although at the maximum, puts them just above my couch. Exactly what I was looking for in fit and function.

I bought two sets of these stands for use with my Boston Acoustics home theater setup and they have been fantastic. The fit and finish is well done, running wires through the stand was easy, and they look good with the rest of my equipment. Would get 5 stars but they feel a bit tippy with the heavier front speakers (this is mostly due to how they are fixed to the stands.) Overall a very good product that I highly recommend.

I had bought a much more expensive gadget that was to support my PC speakers but it was a big, clumsy, ugly set of stainless steel clamps and tended to drop the speakers, damaging one. Started to feel pain in my wrists after weeks of prolonged computer usage (I was typing directly on my laptop keyboard and it wasn't a natural posture at all). This + and external keyboard did the trick. Just the right amound of give and resistance. Smelled bad for about the first week (chemicals) but then it wore off.

The shape conforms perfectly to the designer's hands, but unless you share the same DNA, I'd avoid this product. I've used many of these over the years and this is the only one I struggled with. Constantly shifting it to get it's high and low points in a place that was tolerable. I finally reversed it, pointing it towards me and it worked a little better. This just needs to be a simple pad. Instead, they've overdesigned it as a gimmick.

If you have speakers that only have a keyhole mount or no mount, and you don't mind putting some holes in the back of your speakers then this is a great product. Easy to setup with a minimum of pieces, easy to put on the wall and easy to adjust once your done. Also the construction, while plastic is very strong and feels solid, I used these for ~10 pound speakers and I am confident that they will hold.
(Usable with the onkyo: Onkyo HT-SR800 Home theater audio system with 7 speakers and powered subwoofer Black you have to put some holes in but I didn't notice any difference in sound.)

This is a very good little speaker mount that will hold around 20 lbs. Tilts and swivels. Installation is straight forward but requires drilling holes into the back of your speakers.

I purchased these brackets to hold some larger Onkyo speakers (not cubed) approximately 5"x9"x4" and weighing 3 pounds or so. They worked perfectly and the ability to adjust (with ease)and pivot the speaker once mounted makes these babies worth their weight in gold.
