Despite the image shown, I was shipped a cable from a company called Myiicco and it did not work. I contacted the company and they quickly and politely shipped another one but again, it did not work. The reason I purchased this cable was because I thought it was a Nintendo product and therefore, would definitely work with another Nintendo product.

You will probably recieve a 3rd party cable if you are looking at the picture and thinking that you're getting the nintendo-made cable. Mine wasn't even the right one when I recieved it.
I Don't Know What People's Problem Is.......2007-07-07
I don't know why people have so much trouble with this. With all my Pokemon games all I have to do is plug one end in each Gameboy, turn them on, and make sure the character on each game goes into the trading area of the Pokemon Center. It's not rocket science. I had the link cable for the Game Boy Color too and again, no problems.

This cord didn't work at all. I finally found another cord from a different company that worked. Don't waste your money on this. try another brand. Tried contacting company but didnt get a responce as of yet. and after taking out shipping costs and restocking costs i wouldn't get much back anyways. hit up your computer gaming store for a better brand.

I decided to give these cables a shot since they were half the price of the official Nintendo component cables, and audio/video cables are a product well-known for some companies (you listening, Monster?) seriously trying to rip off consumers. I found these cables to work wonderfully; despite some other opinions, I think they make a significant improvement in picture quality, well worth fifteen bucks if you have an HDTV to hook your Wii up to. When compared to the composite cables that come with the system, object edges are really sharpened up. You don't need to pay $30-$50 for quality component cables. Highly recommended!
Does what it's supposed to do.......2007-06-13
Despite previous reviews, I would say this is a good product from Nyko. The connectors are strong and gold-plated. The cables on the end are slightly thicker than the official Nintendo cable. There is minor image quality improvement over the official cable. If you get problems, the connectors may have been plugged incorrectly or the receiver (television, etc) device doesn't support progressive scan input. These are not a fault in the cable itself.

I brought htis home and hooked it up to a brand new LCD 46" 1080 TV and I originally had the composite cables in. I changed it to this one and set the Wii to the HD and barely notice a difference. I really don't think its somethignw rong with the cable. I think thats the best the Wii has. Component cable really isn't necessary but if you want a slight increase in color depth pick it up.

Bought the cable thinking it was a good, inexpensive product. The colors are completely distorted, it looks worse than the component cables that came with the system, it is constantly flickering. I recommend going with the official nintendo cables. You pay more but you won't get ripped off.

I purchased this for use with the Gamecube game PokemonXD:Gale of Darkness so that my brothers could upload their pokemon from the Gameboy Advanced games. You don't need this cable for transfering things, if you got one from your camera or something else, that will work as well. What the point I am trying to get across is that if you already have a calbe that works, or if you are planning on getting something that has it, why not buy yourself snacks at the grocery store and wait?
It may be worth getting, but olnly if you can't afford something like a camera/ it's very cheap.

Over the last few weeks I had tried, without success, to transfer music to my psp. I used a usb cable we already owned but it never worked. I picked this item up for about 12 bucks and immediately wondered if I had just wasted my money.
Got home and tried it out, and within maybe 10 minutes I had a couple songs on my psp. This product comes with a usb cable and 2 cd-roms used to install software. One is for the pc and the other is used for saving games on a ps2 console.
I highly recommend this product. The media manager cd-rom makes it very simple to transfer media from the pc to the psp. When I first saw the package I was a little sketchy on buying it b/c it looks amateurish and almost like a novelty. But I have to say this thing works and works well.

I'm not sure if it's the copy I recieved or just my computer acting up, but this device didn't work for me. Sure, it says the media has been transferred to my PSP but when I look for it, it says there are no tracks on my 1 GB memory stick. Don't waste your time with this silly thing. Try another product. There are better things out there I'm sure. I'd give this 1 star, but I only tried music not the other types of media. Who knows, maybe they actually work.

This makes it easy to convert pic's or music. It was jut about a plug and play for me. I hate spending time reading how something works. Once it was installed, on my laptop, I hooked the cord up and I was ready. It took maybe 3 minutes to figure out how to transfer.

I honestly think that the PSP is the 2nd best system in the world! We all know that the Xbox 360 is the best. But anyway, even though I loved my PSP, I wanted more. Then I went to Gamestop one night and saw this. So I bought it and installed it and hooked the USB to my PSP. I looked at all the gamesaves first. It only had saves for like 2 of the games I have (I have 5 games). This is no doubt the best thing for putting music, photos, and videos on your PSP. This converts videos into a format that the PSP can play. It does the same thing with music. With pictures, you can choose an option that will make a picture fit on your PSP if doesn't already. I don't know how the PS2 thing works because I don't own one.
P.S. This thing costs about 15 bucks, to that kid who didn't know.

Cheap HDMI switch that does what it's supposed to. .......2007-09-08
For whatever reason, this product is found under the "games" section. Hopefully, you were able to find this product easily, as it is probably one of the best HDMI switch solutions out there.
Pros:
*Affordable (most other HDMI switches are well over $75 as of now)
*No signal loss at all
*Easy to set up
*Small
*Comes with small, simplistic remote control
*Comes with RF sensor cable so you can hide unit away if you wish
*Bright LED lights tell you which input you have selected (may be a con to some folks)
Cons:
*Cables are plugged in at front AND rear of unit, making it difficult to place in your entertainment center (if you wish to manually switch it)
*Because of the above statement, you'll probably want to hide it away. This makes the LED light fairly useless since you can't see them. You'll have to use the remote and play a guessing game as to what input you currently have selected.
*Built kind of cheaply. It's thin plastic. Feels like I could snap it in half.
And that's about it. The pros far out weigh the cons, in my opinion.
If the unit were to break for some reason, I would definitely consider buying another. I suggest that anyone considering this unit to just buy it now. Matcatz (a shoddy third party video game accessory maker) just bought out Joytech. Who knows that they'll do to this product or if they'll even make it in the future. Get it while you still can.

I have read the other reviews for this xbox cable and most of them act like this is a rip off, and you should just buy a 50foot "cross-over" cable. THIS CABLE IS MADE FOR LINKING TWO XBOX'S TOGETHER! NOT FOR ANY OTHER USES! And using a "50 foot crossed over cable" doesn't work anyways. I bought one myself tried using it and no, it didn't work. That is because it was not specifically designed for the xbox. This cable however is made for xboxes, and will connect 2 xbox systems together so you can play certain games with up to 8 players on two different TV's, but still be fighting each other. But the ultimate recommendation would be to just get x-box live, that way there's no complaining about a system link that will only do what the package says it does(link 2 xbox systems together) and you can play more than 8 people whenever you want.
PS-i'm not a kid, i just didn't want to sign up with amazon.

This cable is used ONLY for a hookup between 2 xboxes. This means that if you want to play Halo 4 vs 4 with 2 tvs, a regular ethernet cable will not work. Only the Xbox System Link cable will work between two xboxes directly connected. However, if you hook up four xboxes, you have to use regular RJ-45 ethernet cable with a hub. That is why this cable is necessary.

I bought this for my sister. We used it to transfer a Chao I had in Sonic Advance to her copy of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and it worked fine. A few days later we tried using the GBA-to-GBA cable it had to trade Pokemon, and it didn't work. We tried the GC-to-GBA cable, and that didn't work either. Now I have a Chao that's stuck in a game I don't have, and an upset sister with a third-party accessory that doesn't work. Please buy the official ones from Nintendo, no matter how much more they cost. I wish I did.

You can't go wrong with this cable, u save a whopping 8 bucks off by buying it compared to Advance Cable which is the offcial product.
Yhe description of this product isn't very clear, so for those who have questions, i can now clear up for you all.
