Phone works perfectly.......2004-12-09

The phone works fine. Good range, crystal clear, no problems at all. Just don't mount the thing right next (1-5 inches) to an electrical socket and you shouldn't get any interference. You wouldn't put a TV antenna in a clump of cords and cable so why mount the phone base next to the same thing. If that isn't common sense to you read the manual, it specifically lays out how get clear sound. Buy the thing.

It's so nice, I bought it twice (sort of).......2003-09-24

I bought the model with the answering machine, and the rest of my family liked it so well, I bought another one (this one with out the answering machine). The phone works remarkably well. I am used to corded phones, and not being limited by wires is great. The sound quality is good, but there are occasional clicks that I and the person I am talking to can hear. Changing the channel seems to help occasionaly--could be interference. All in all, a very good phone.

I was actually planning to purchase a non-cordless phone, because I was concerned about a cordless phone's succeptibility to interference. But after not finding a suitable non-cordless phone (inexpensive with built-in digital answering machine) at the store, I purchased this one.

I never had any problems with this phone, interference or otherwise, so I have no reason to give it less than 5 stars.

Terrible Interference - Spend your $ on a better phone.......2003-07-03

Spend your money on a better phone. I bought the Uniden EXA-2245 2.4 GHz Analog Cordless Phone with Digital Answering a few months ago. I have never had a problem with Uniden before, but this is the WORST phone I have ever had. There is so much interference. I can't have a phone conversation without hearing 3-4 other conversations at the same time. The most irritating part is that the interfering conversations are crystal clear, while my conversation is static-y and oftentimes lost completely due to the interference. Even sitting right next to the base does not help. THIS IS THE WORST PHONE! My old 900mhz phone was better than this. I have to buy yet another phone now to replace this piece of junk. The answering machine part is OK though.

Great phone for the price!.......2003-04-18

This is an excellent cordless phone considering the low price and the fact that it's analog instead of digital. I can't believe the long range! I've taken the handset outside far from the house, even across the street, and the reception was still just as good as it was inside the house. The answering machine works well also. It's very easy to set and program this answering machine because it voice prompts the menu and settings. This is a great choice if you're looking for a good budget-friendly telephone/answering machine combination.

Low priced monitor ...........2000-06-20

The G772's competitive price is one of the lowest-priced monitor around.The monitor has points for its sharp text on both word processing documents and spreadsheets. Although, it didn't fare as well with graphics. Colors on Web pages looked bland. Acer G773 has excellent controls on vertical and horizontal adjustments which is not common for most 17-inch monitors. An "I-key," one of the G772's special features, resets vertical and horizontal positioning to factory presets but does not change color or contrast settings. Though not the best choice for graphics users, the G772 suits business and home office users who work with text documents and spreadsheets, and those looking for a low-cost display with advanced controls. Acer G772 has a.25mm dot pitch tube, up to 85-Hz refresh rate at 1024 by 768 resolution, Plug and Play ready,3-year warranty, 24-hour toll-free support. It's worth the price for an ordinary consumer.

Great monitor.......2000-06-20

If you're thinking about buying a Viewsonic or a Sony monitor, save some money and buy this Acer. It has excellent colors, and clarity at .25 dot pitch. Its one of Acer's Graphic Monitor, resulting in above than average depth. Compared to my trinitron monitor, it has near equal color depth at a lesser price. My only complaints was that its max resolution was 1280x1024, wish it could go higher.

Phatnoise Car Media Player, Awesome!.......2007-01-13

The first few days I was not real impressed with the sound of this unit. Sounded thin yet had flabby bass. After about a week of break-in the sound dramatically improved and the functionality in my 540I BMW is awesome! You don't have to look at a readout; you just press the buttons on the radio, like 4 to scroll through artists or 3 for disc titles. Then you can scroll through by using the steering wheel up/down buttons and it speaks to you. Yes it will tell you the artist name and then the disc title as you scroll through.

I love the way this works as well as the sound. I don't have any of the problems that I had with CD's skipping. I've ripped everything in using FLAC encoding, as I can't stand listening to mp3's! Mp3 may be all right for portable means but it's awful for car and home use. You can hear a huge difference if you have a good system. Too much loss of resolution and detail. Bass is not nearly as good on mp3. FLAC is a loseless encoding which preserves the sound of the CD very well. You can even rip from the CD into an identical WAV but that takes up a lot of hard disc space and the FLAC encoding compresses the file by half and is lossless.

I have upgraded to a 120GB DMS cartridge and even with FLAC encoding I'm able to get my whole CD collection on it plus have room for future CD's. Approximate room on 120GB is about 500 to 550 full CD's in FLAC. If you can stand the sound of mp3's that almost unlimited!!!

Highly recommended!!! I'd give it a 9 out of ten for everything. Still room to improve on sound quality but very good! Better sound than the stock CD changer. Any song I want to listen to is always at my fingertips. Won't give it up!!!
