Great Product.......2007-09-01

My printer is an Epson RX580. I'm on my third set of OA 100 cartridges and rate them as excellent for color and value. I particulary appreciate the two section assembly which allows you to easily view ink levels. I've printed many 4 X 6 photo images and, in my option, the color is exceptionally good.

DID NOT WORK FOR ME!.......2007-08-19

I have a R260 and I purchased the compatible ink cartride and it didn't work for me! I should have known the price would be too good to be true. My crazy self purchased a set of 2 so now I'm stuck with ink that doesn't work. There has to be some ethical issue with selling products that read they are compatible and are not?

Do NOT waste your money.......2007-08-17

Don't waste your time or money purchasing these inks. They're a fraction of the cost of Epson's because they're a rip-off. The printer (mine is r260) doesn't accept them. The printer coninually flashes the "no/low ink" light and tells you to go purchase the real thing.

If all of these reviews don't stop you, at least your wasted time and money will.

Just buy Epson.

One Piece Please.......2007-08-05

The price is great on this item but do not like the two piece idea. Having to rest the cartridge in a mounting framework ( containing printer IC chip ) does nt sit well with me. I am use to a one piece cartridge.

Epson changed firmware code between April and May 2007 in printers
using the TO78 cartridges. Generic cartridges are no longer recognized.

I installed the black cartridge last night, and it worked perfectly. (Haven't installed the others yet, 'cause I don't need them.) I printed out a scan of a bank CD note with intricate design, and it printed very clearly, which means the ink must be decent. These cartridges are a bit more complicated to install than the standard Epson cartridge, so maybe the users that dissed the generics didn't install them right. Just follow directions carefully--it took me about five minutes the first time, will take less time from here on. Will revise this review if I have any problems later on.

I PURCHASED THIS COMPATIBLE 4 PACK INK CARTRIDGE THINKING THEY WOULD WORK FINE AND SINCE MONEY IS TIGHT, WHY NOT. I INSTALLED THEM LAST WEEK AND UP UNTIL THIS PAST SUNDAY, CAN NOT GET MY PRINTER TO PRINT. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THE INK LEVELS HAVE GONE DOWN ALREADY.

NEXT TIME I WILL KNOW BETTER AND ORDER THE EPSON PRODUCT, BUT FOR NOW I AM OUT $39.00.
