In the city, this device often takes you on side streets instead of main roads, wants you to turn where turns aren't allowed, and takes you down dirt roads with huge potholes!

Best GPS with instant traffic alert.......2007-09-05
Just got my garmin c580 few weeks and tried it everyday. First setup took about 4 mins to lock the satellite signal. After the first setup, it locks signal almost instantly without delay. Tried it on labor day holiday to the beach around some cities along the coast, it guide me to every POI clearly. Its msn traffic alert guided me around avoid traffic jam. It also directed me to a very good seafood restaurant for dinner. It has too many useful functions to list for travel. I think the msn direct service worth even after one year free trial. Garmin c580, it is a real gps navigation system that every vehicle should have. Costco has $ 100 discount on this product and ended Sept 14. Total cost me $ 400 included 2nd day shipping and tax to own this best gps device. Worth !

The product works great with the information is programed in. However,the local streets and establishments need to be updated. It appears much of the local data is 3-5 years behind. It needs the ability to pinpoint a current location and save it. Overall it performs like I wanted it to.
Great GPS for your car.......2007-08-19
I upgraded my old StreetPilot c320 to the newest c580, I think it is definitely worth the upgrade.
Here are couple improvements from old streetpilot C300 series:
1. New SiRF high sensitivity chip that locks satellite really really fast, less than 20 seconds, my old C320 takes over a min to lock the satellites on a cold start. And the new chip is supposed to perform much better in downtown area as well, though I have not tried it.
2. Intergrated MSN Direct service is great!(if you live near one of the major metro area) I get movie times, gas price, weather and traffic data. That is a lot of add-on feature, eliminate my need to check my mobile phone for these kind of stuff, and those are all intergrated so once you found a movie u like, or a cheap priced gas station, or a traffic jam, your gps either takes you over or re-route the route to avoid traffic problems. This is great.
3. Bluetooth hands-free calling is also great, now I dont have to be in danger of holding my cell while driving in a busy highway or make my neck tired when on the phone, and I can concentrate more on driving.
4. Great display LCD screen, brighter and now anti-glare compare to my old C320.
5. Improved mounting method than old C320
6. A MP3 player and a picture viewer
Things I wish they'd improved:
Design is old-school, to get better design you have to pay $100-200 extra for the nuvi series...
Cannot plan multi-destinations in a single trip.
Did not come with backup MapSource DVD, if you accidently delete data in your GPS, you are screwed.

Overall, the item is good. The instructions on how to modify the sound quality could be clearer.
On the down side: beware of cell phones. If my Moto Q is between the transmitter and the headset, funny things and very poor quality happen.
The onther down side: the company that shipped it (this does NOT come from Amazon) did not send the lifter and I am getting tired of fighting them for it.

The product works great. I am pleased with the sound and the transmission distance from my phone. I can work around the office, multi task and take care of business on the phone. The product was confusing to purchase. You have the system picture and you call it bundle purchase. Below this you have the lifter. I clicked on the lifter also because I think that is how the bundle works if you purchase it also. When I receive the shipment, the lifter is a separte purchase (this is not clear) from the bundle offer. Now it is a hastle to send it back and get my refund. Money is taken out of the original price for shipping (I paid my own shipping and used my sources). So what I originally purchase is credited less money. All because the store is not marketed so it is easy to understand.

The audio quality, range and utlity of this product are excellent. I use it on all my calls and have the freedom to roam my office 1) for needed resources relevant to the call I am on, and 2)so I am not handcuffed all day to a chair. We've had the Movietime for over a year and still love it. The convenience is great. We don't have a seperate AV room and we don't want to set up a bunch of audio video gear in our living room, so when we want to watch videos we just plop down the Optoma and point it a the wall. Huge image, excellent color and sharpness. The sound is adequate. For us it's the perfect solution and well worth the dough.

Have previous version, gave this unit to my sister's family (2 girls - 12 & 14). Brother-in-law, sister & family love theirs. Use it for movie nights while floating in their pool (patching the sound through pool speakers). Picture big and clear while placed safely away from water.
Have used mine in backyard, living room, and for presentations to groups where previously used multiple video screens. Easy to use, more than enough inputs, remote control. While screen gives best picture, it does alright on a wall or sheet.
Only problem, it doesn't make popcorn!

When i was shopping for a projector i was looking to spend 2 gran for a good quality picture, when i saw the dv10 i got an idea. the price was low and would allow me to buy other things to go with it. i bought this projector and a 4 year warranty for under 700, then a a cinemate bose sound system, and a ps3. all for under my budget. i was so excited i build a dark room in my garage for under 500. wood, dry wall, carpet and boom your done. my total was about 2400. love the movies game and sound.
people are left breathless, and keep coming back and of course with free lamp replacements from my warranty...KEEP THEM COMING BACK FOR MORE....

this is a good starter projector. good for movie nights or anything in the dark but if you want to watch in the daytime, forget it. it not very bright. you gotta love the built in dvd player tho. one problem i have had with this unit is that when you use the remote to shut of the unit you have to push the power button and then it will ask you if you want to power off the unit then you have to push it again and the screen turns off, but two times now i have walked away on that and came back later to find that the thing is still on, sitting there for hours running burning up my lamp, i was very mad.all in all i am pretty happy with it. it's my first projector and it's great to have a huge screen. i'll keep this for a while and probly upgrade to a brighter one later so i can watch in the daytime without putting sheets over the windows.
