Good heavy paper - feels very good. Photos are beautiful but HP needs to upgrade their ink technology - photos are too sticky for too long and they're not waterproof.

I have a HP Photosmart 8750 printer and would never consider any other photo paper except HP and the Premium Plus is the best by far. Getting this paper at an affortable price is my only issue, and I found the solution by shopping at Amazon. Even the less expensive shipping is fast. Recommend highly.

print quality issue.......2007-07-30

Not too long after I printed several images on this HP paper, I noticed that the images with deep shadows had developed a solarization effect. On some images it developed within a few minutes, but on others, not for several hours (after I'd taken the time to frame the pictures, not amused!). I printed the same images on other papers and two different printers with no problems. I've reported the problem to HP and have asked for a refund, but they certainly aren't going to refund the cost of the wasted ink, and I wasted hours of time. DO NOT buy this paper!

What a change.......2006-10-04

I simply had to remark and let you know if you are looking for a great photo paper to print out your photo's on, this is your paper. I recently updated my All-In-One to the HP Photosmart 3310. What a diffrence both printer and photo paper made in my printing options. I am sure if you are looking at this product trying to decide if the money is worth spending, invest in this paper and see the results for yourself. I am sure you will be just as happy with the product as I am.

Not sure how to Rate this.......2007-05-13

The photos looks great - no, GREAT, but they're tacky/sticky. I've been reading widely on the web and I'm not sure if that's a fuction of the printer that I'm using or the paper.

I use a CHEAP HP Deskjet 3940 with this paper so I really shouldn't complain.

I read somewhere that if HP uses different ink technology then the photos would be waterproof and would dry faster.

So all that to say that the paper is heavy and feels good in the hand. The appearance of the photos even from an "inferior" printer are FANTASTIC. But the sticky, slow-to-dry photos? I don't know if that's really the paper's fault!

Very nice quality paper. Has an extra half inch in length that is not printed on and is perforated so it can be removed after the picture is dry. Is great for holding the picture when it first comes out of the printer and it's still wet. Would definitely buy more.

Outstanding - with the right HP printer.......2005-10-22

I have an HP 8450xi printer and I've been stunned by the results that I can get with this paper.

I bought the printer because I shoot all of my photos in RAW format and save edited versions in lossless formats. Photo labs require that the pictures be saved in JPEG, which can introduce artifacts, even at the highest quality setting. This is especially a problem with subtle shading, like cloudy gray skies. A commercial printing service ruined several photos from an overcast day at the ocean by introducing such artifacts, so I decided to take control over my own photos.

The 8450xi printing on this paper gives me total control of my photos and amazing results. When printed at the maximum DPI quality setting, the details are stunning- the sharpest photos that I've ever seen.

Photo paper is specific to manufacturer, so don't use this paper in your Canon or Epson printer like another reviewer did- you'll probably be disappointed by the results. If you have a Canon printer, buy Canon paper. Also, don't use it in your older HP printer. (The box specifically lists the Photosmart 100, 130, 230, 1000, 1100, 1115,1215, 1218, or 1315 and HP Deskjet 950 series as printers that are not compatible with this paper.)

If you have one of the HP printers that this is designed for and you want professional-looking, long lasting photos, you can't beat this paper. If you're just looking to print snapshots and you don't really care about the quality, this isn't the paper for you. You're probably better off using a printing service, or buying cheap photo paper. Because of the cost, I save this paper for the photos that really matter and print the rest of them at Snapfish.

grainy quality, very slow drying time. .......2005-05-05

I was terribly disappointed in this product which I bought for use in my Canon Pixma iP6000D printer. The image is grainy and, if you touch the photo within 5 minutes, you will leave marks. I laid anothe picture on top of one done 5 minutes earlier, and they stuck together. I have had very good luck with Canon paper.
