I used this for a 46" Samsung LCD which weighed 59lbs. It was easy to install and holds my TV straight. The reason I did not give it 5 stars was because the one I received was Silver, not black like the one pictured. I saved over $200 buying this one. I mounted my tv in the corner of the room. Since the arm mounts swing in 3 different directions I was able to place it at the perfect angle.

Good Product!.......2007-08-13

I purchased this TV mount after looking at many that cost almost as much as my TV. I took a chance since there were mixed reviews, but am glad I did. The directions were not very helpful, but it didn't take too much thought to figure it out. I do recommend tightening all of the nuts and bolts before putting it up (this does require taking some out to reach others and then putting it back together) it is much easier to do this on the ground than when it is all on the wall, and makes it much more solid. Also I bought a good stud-finder so I could be sure I put the screws in the center of the studs to make it hold securely. With the money I saved on the mount it wasn't bad to spend another $30 on a good stud-finder. I hung a 42" LCD TV and it looks great! I got everything mounted and then my boyfriend helped me to lift the TV up and hold it still while I tightened the other screws. I plan to use velcro to attach the cables to the mount arm so they are out of the way.

Good but had a few problems........2007-06-06

First of all this is a good wall mount for the price. However, I did have some issues that I did not have with my more expensive downstairs wall mount. I hung a 52" Aquos and the arm immedately bent downward. So much that I had to remove the whole mount and turn it upside down. I did this so I could tilt the screen up instead of down. I've now achieved a flat viewing angle. Also, my television NOTICEABLY tilted to the left. I put some of the spare metal washers underneath the mounting hooks, leveled it and now it's straight. Again, for the price I don't mind doing a little extra work. But if I'd paid more money, I'd be quite upset.

Did not get product as featured.......2007-01-11

Bought this Digicom PMA-772 featured on Amazon, sold by 47th. St. Photo. Got a Digicom PM-A772 (tricky model #s aye!). The two are similar but not the same (as the picture featured on Amazon's or 47th. St.'s site) in design and construction. The PM-A772 seems to be inferior quality (made in China) than the PMA-772. According to my 47th. St. e-mail correspondence, I would have to pay for return shipping. I decided to keep it but am not a happy customer. Needless to say 47th St. Photo is on my black list.

Excellent Scaner/Printer/Copier.......2003-09-28

My Family enjoys the speed and versatility of the A3000. I see other customers have complained about the scanner, but I has been a life saver for us. It can scan textbook pages as images or into Character recognition software for easy implementation into Word processors. Scanned images are saved to a folder you specify as jpeg format images. (You do have to run the A3000 utlity or ABBY when scanning - others may not have known this).
It prints faster and quieter than our HP890 inkjet. It takes Lexmark ink cartridges, which are widely available. The A3000 footprint is small and fits on a roller shelf under my desk. HP does have a download site for the driver, but has limited support since they bought Compaq and the printer doesnt use HP cartridges. But this was a well designed product and after nearly 2 years of service we use it almost daily and it still works and acts like new.

I bought this Compaq A3000 at a local store and ever since I got it the printer and copier work fine but the scanner does not work and hasn't work since I got it. I think they gave me the wrong disk for it. I have a new Compaq Presario 6000 Windows XP. Could please advise me what to do to get this to work. I have emailed and called the Compaq Service and still do not get it to work.

FANTASTIC PRINTER!!!!.......2006-08-23

Less than a year ago I invested about $6,000 in a new computer, cinema display, a bunch of peripherals, software and, of course, a printer. The big mistake I made was the HP printer. It was a piece of garbage that produced and ongoing headache from the day I pulled it out of the box. About two months ago I got so fed up with it that I ripped out all of its various connections, took it outside to the dumpster and hurled it in the trash (as forcefully as I could). I wanted to hear it smashing apart!

I decided to really do my homework before purchasing a new printer. So, I did. The Canon MP800 is the printer I decided to buy. And, to say I'm glad I did is an understatement! What an amazing machine that does EVERYTHING Canon says it will. I hooked it up very easily and was on my way in about half an hour. It scans, prints photographs, prints documents and photocopy's. It's a magnificent buy that is worth much more than the $250 to $299 it generally costs. You'll be very happy with it.

Have Epson heard of future-proofing.......2004-10-21

Lots of rave reviews about this by now obsolete item. I have it a couple of years, but still I can't escape the feeling that if you walk into a shop in Ireland and say, 'I'll take that one,' you'll end up with a model that's on the way out everywhere else.
Nothing wrong with it as far as it goes: does the job it's asked to do. Just don't buy a new PC with a new OS.
I've wasted too much time trying to find a replacement XP driver for this machine, which now effectively has become a piece of junk. Online support is available from Epson provided you get there before 5pm! So, I suppose this is a comment not so much on the product but on the brand, the support and future-proofing or lack thereof. I suppose I could keep my old PC just for Epson's convenience, but I rather think things should be the other way around.
None of my other hardware peripherals have caused me grief in this way.

Awsome quality for inexpensive scanner.......2003-05-08

I'm not a professional user, but I tried three different scanners in the Epson's price range and only the Epson provided me with essentially perfect scans right out of the box. I detected no color bias, excellent contrast range and the ability to duplicate (or improve) the original. Other reviews on the 'net bear this out.

No XP Driver.......2002-02-10

I have owned this scanner for about a year. Its performance was decent but not what I would expect from a PC Mag Editors' Choice. Photos were often disappointing, and negative scanning is mediocre. It doesn't work at all any more. Why? Because Epson hasn't gotten around to supplying an XP driver, and I bought a great new XP computer in November 2001. EVERY device I own (from printer to camera) readily worked with XP except this scanner. The Epson website has promised an XP driver for "early 2002" since November 2001; it's now February 2002, and there is still no driver, and Epson doesn't answer email. Do yourself a favor: don't buy this scanner if you have XP, and think seriously about buying anything from a company that doesn't support its products.

if you own redhat 7 (or downloaded it) or a recent kernel /w usb backport patch, you can use this scanner without fiddling with anything but plugging it in and setting up "SANE". (set module to epson and set path to /dev/usb/scanner) i use linux for nearly 5 years now and had terrible problems with scanners (i never owned a scsi one) but this one is great. it scanes fast like the devil and the quality is great. happy gimping!!!
