This is the worst camera i've ever seen for many reasons:
1. This camera only works outdoors or in a cmpletely iluminated room.
2. The flash is very useless at night.
3. It consumes batterries extrmely fast (it uses AAA)
4. The still pictures quality is very bad.
5. The videos have awful sound and a extremely poor quality. They appear with those big pixel squares.
I don't recommend this camera for anyone. Not eve a 5 years-old kid will enjoy it.

I bought this camera for my son because I thought it had everything a child would want and I was right. My son spents tons of time with his little camera, I enjoy this camera too when I get bored I get my son's camera and listen to the music on the mp3. This camera is very nice and it is really cheap. the only bad thing is that it does not has a rechargable batterie on it but that does not matter if you buy some AAA rechargable batteries and a charger. I totally recomend this item to everyone who is interested on it.

My son loves the camera, the only thing I didn't realize that it takes AAA batteries. I know that there are some cameras similar to my sons that take AA. Other than that were good. Thank you.

This camera/Mp3/camcorder/webcam/voice recorder is way to good to be true! I brought one because it was cute and looked perfect for mini movies. But I was sadly mistaken... This camera just takes cheap pictures and videos. The only thing that actully worked properly was the voice recorder that I had no need for. After about 3 days of trying to make it work a little better I gave up and sold it on eBay for the same price as I brought it for. It's a great idea... but it just isn't a good camera but if you want a voice recorder this is pretty nice. The Mp3 player isn't all that wonderful either. It doesn't work with iTunes. Or easy work with Windows. Hope this helps... I wish I would have read this before I brought this camera.
Hey, I Guess You Get What You Pay For . . ........2006-12-17
I no longer own my previous and much finer camcorder, so I finally found myself in the market for purchasing some kind of camcorder until I could get back on my feet to get another good one. I thought this one may do, good price, looks sharp, purchased on impulse . . .big NO-NO.
I will say the camera takes decent pictures (as the previous reviews state, almost exclusively outside in broad daylight or indoors with
very good lighting). Other than that, don't bother. The MP3 is a cute
function (and quite possibly the most practical). The video, UHH, let's
not even go there. The voice recorder, also not bad - records in WAV format and can be transferred to PC.
Jack of all trades, master of none . . .I guess that would be the best
way to finally describe this item. I will say that I'll be saving up now
for much better camcorder and no more "I just gotta have this right now"
Save your $, find a quality product - even if you have to pay a little more for it. Trust me, it will be overall better in the long run . . .

Definitely not worth the money. I wanted a small camera to take with me when I travel. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because the size is right. However, don't plan on taking any pictures with it. The menus are cumbersome to navigate and the booklet does not explain what the setting icons mean so you have no idea which is correct for your setting. All of my pictures come out blurry. I've tested this thing for two days now and I've had it. I read reviews on other sites and they were fairly good so I bought it. Save yourself some money, and a headache, and buy a brand you recognize.

I got this camera to upgrade from my 3.1mp camera and was very disapointed. Though it was easy to work the pictures were blurry and dark most of the time and after a while i went back to using my old camera. I plan on giving it to the kids. Photo quality does not matter that much to them. Spend your money on another camera

i'm fourteen years old and i love this camera its totally awesome. its got a timer on it so me and my friends can run and get a picture of all of us. and the only thing that really aggrivated me about it was that it took a couple seconds after hitting the button to take a picture. the flash is only needed SOMETIMES, indoors otherwise its not needed outside. i mean really if you are getting this for a teeenager or if ur clumsy this is a great camera i (Accedentally) dropped it from the TOP of my gym and it slid all the way down the stars and the batteries fell out and everything and we ran down there i put the batteries back in and it worked PERFECTLY!!
i'm on here b/c as we all know digital cameras CANT get wet. yep i droped it in a puddle :(

I have been using this camera for three months. Very poor picture quality unless the lighting is perfect and the camera held absolutely still. I expected more, even for a camera that cost less than $80. There are other problems (eg, battery life, recycle time), but by now you should have a clue that this is not something you will be happy with. You will be much better off looking at another brand.
$100 Down the Drain.......2006-06-08
For $100 you don't expect anything spectacular, but you do expect a functional camera. Sure, it looks good in the package with sleek lines and nice buttons. Don't waste your time or money. Once you open it, you'll be amazed at the arcane icons, obscure menu, and poor documentation. After taking a few pictures, you can proudly show all your friends that any subject can appear dark, blurry, and grainy with the wrong camera. Finally, after you turn on the camera, you're limited to one flash photo, so use it wisely. Seriously, turn the flash on, take 1 picture, then the flash is disabled and you have to turn the camera off and on before you can take another flash picture. Never thought I'd have to reboot a camera. Save your money, or buy a good sketch pad instead.
Horrible flash.......2006-04-12
Well i bought this camera on sale at OfficeMax during Black friday last year so i've had this camera for a while. In the store it took pretty good pics considering it was a 5.1mp for only 60$. i think this camera takes pretty decent pictures when you have perfect light settings. if your outside and there's not a cloud in the sky expect your pic to come out extra bright with white lights. if its took dark and you decide to use your flash the pictures will come out with a bright blue tint. i am not exagerating. i have to photoshop the tint out and i still cant get out all the way. the flash also takes a while to charge up. its pretty embarassing when everyone elses camera just takes pictures with flash no problem. i have to wait 5 or 6 seconds for the flash to charge up atleast b4 i want to take a picture. the red eye reduction isnt too bad either. the video mode is pretty good on it. plus theirs an audio recorder which works wonders if your taking a lecture class and you want to only record your professors voice. transfering pictures to you pc is fast and easy. i dont have a memory card and at its highest resolution i can take about 22 pictures. it does take a normal sd card no memory stick or any of that. i bought rechargable batteries, but overall battery life isnt too bad. i'm on amazon lookin to buy a better camera right now. if i could i would've saved the 60$ i spent on this one and put it towards the new camera i'm buying. Then again what could i expect from a camera i spent 60$'s on. it was my first digital camera and i learned to spend a little more money for a better one.

Horrible Camera, do not buy!!!.......2006-03-25
If you know whats good for you, do not buy this camera. When taking indoor pictures, the LCD is so dark that you can't even tell what your pointing the camera at. The pictures turn out exactly what you see on the LCD. Indoor pictures with flash on are so bright, you can barely make out the picture past all the white. An indoor picture without the flash turns out completely black. This camera is useless. I have a camera that is over 6 years old, and it is 10x better and easier to use. I wouldn't recommend this camera to my worst enemy. I'm just glad I only paid $30 for it. Although, its not even worth that much. I only managed to get a couple of not so great pics out of it, and now I'm ready to just toss it.

I bought this camera last year for my daughter. It was so horrible I had to buy her a different one. I gave it to my twelve year old niece (not good for her but something to start her out with) It broke within a couple of months. The pictures it took were not worth buying.
Better and Cheaper than many Digital Cameras.......2005-05-04
I really enjoy using this camera. Once I got the hang of all the combo features it was a breeze to use. One reviewer said that images taken using the flash feature look washed out. You can avoid having this problem if you back up at least 10 feet or so from the subject and zoom in. This gives the pictures a crisp clean look. All the pictures I've taken have come out crisp and clear with no problems. I bought my camera on ebay and I love it. If you are going to be taking a lot of night time pictures then you need to learn how to use the flash feature, but the camera is wonderful for day time shots. The battery usage on this camera ia also great. I've taken about 90 pix from the same 2 AA bateries. I've seen other cameras that cost twice as much as this camera and have the same quality. I would reccommend this camera to any amatuer user!!!

Very Disappointed!.......2004-03-03
I bought this camera thinking it'd be great with its combo features. But as it turns out the quality of this camera [...] big time! When taking pictures without a flash, the picture looks dark and not white balance correctly (even though it's set to auto-white balance) then when I turns the flash on, it looks completedly washed out... Then when I tested the PC Camera mode, it works fine with its included software driver but the quality again [...] big time, it looks like I'm sitting in front of a computer in a dark room... and the adjustment in the software don't even work...
I'm putting the camera back on EBay the next day! Not Recommended! For $50 more, I'd have a lot better camera!!

I tried a number of phones before this one including some of the highly-rated Panasonic phones and this one sounds the best by far. Very clear at both ends of the line with little or no interference. The only negative I can see is that the caller ID is not very bright and is difficult to read. Other than that, it's great! I ended up buying a second one for my bedroom. Recommended overall.

I got this phone after my other GE phone's keys just stopped working. You had to press the button and hold it down for at least 10 seconds before the number would come up. But so far this phone after about 6 or 7 months, has been really great. I have only one complaint. The keypad doesnt light up at night, so it's sometimes hard to see.
Don't Buy It!.......2003-11-05
I bought this phone and set it up as instructed. But, immediately it wouldn't charge correctly. Even though the phone was sitting in the cradle the charge light was blinking off and on. It didn't matter what I did, nothing resolve the problem so I let it charge for 24 hours instead of the 12 hours GE requires. I then proceeded to test the phone and notice immediately that the Caller ID was very difficult to read. And then on several other calls the Caller ID didn't work at all. Also had to have the sound up to maximum and still was hard to listen to callers (I have no hearing problems). Maybe all of these problems were due to the inability to get a good charge but anyways I still couldn't recommend anyone buying this phone!
