oh, i just really wanted a mini tripod! it is super small, like 5 inches tall. it's great. Also, the filter set is perfect for my rebel. I keep the UV one on all the time and the cap fits over it just fine. and of course the Circular Polarizing is necessary for the rebel b/c of autofocus, so the package is great for me. protect your investment! I bought a rebel and then had a friend photograph my wedding with it. the pictures turned out great with the UV filter on, which protected my lens against splashes from a nearby fountain. a nice bundle for the hardcore novice!

Great set of filters. The polarizing filter is very fun to use outdoors. I have not noticed much difference with the UV but I guess it is mainly a form of lens protection.

This filter is really awesome, see through with no reflections, it's fair enough to say that I can see reefs under water with this filter, without it would be just reflection.
another feature is taking pictures through glass, don't expect too much of this filter, but atleast if you have a little bit of relflection, that filter would eliminate it and you can see clearly behind it.The only con I see is if I forget to turn the ring, indoor pictures turn out dark.

This lens package is a nice addition for our camera. It came with an aluminum adapter to mount the lenses onto the camera. Also came with small bags in which to store the lenses. A much better value than the Canon lenses.

optics are so-so.......2007-04-18
I bought this to use with my Elura 100, primarily for the wide-angle lens.
The wide-angle lens, when you "zoom" through it, you get a sort of a haze. That doesn't make sense, I know, but basically what I am saying is if you use the wide-angle lens, do not zoom in very much because the image breaks down and goes a little "fuzzy." But wide angle lenses are not meant to be zoomed through anyways, so if you have to zoom in on something take the lens off and do it.
The thing I actually love most about this kit is the little portable tripod that came with it! I use that sucker all the time with my digital camera for taking great low-light shots without a flash. Perfect for that.
Nice kit all in all, and the little lens pouches are a nice touch.

I bought this set just for the UV and Polarizing filters. The mini tripod and cleaning kit are just generic items that you can find cheap anywhere. The circular polarizing filter is excellent, one of the best I've found in this price range.
