The turntable works great and had no problem settintg it up. It tracks on all my records even the very old ones. The software is the most impressive. The usb to my computer was easy except you have to change the file into a mp3 or wav to put in on cd. After I did it the quality of the recording was excellent.

I'm delighted 'cause I buyed this turntable. It works fine, and I already made a lot of records from old vinil disk. All records has a excellent quality. Otherwise, I have pluged the turntable on my stereo amplifier and it works very fine too.
I would like to say, in addition, about Audacity, it's very good software, that has a lot of ways to record tracks whit acurate quality.

It is a turntable and works, kind of, if you are not picky.
Build:
plastic, as everyone else mentioned. You turn on the turntable first by pushing the cue button and moving the arm toward the record (press the cue button again to lower arm to record). At the end of the record, the arm will return and turn off. I noticed that the platter is not level (hortzontal) as it turns and some up/down motion also.
Recording:
I recorded three different records from different years, one almost new, one moderate wear and one well played. As expected, the well played album had alot of clicks/pops, though the open source software will remove (to some extent).
The turntable speed sounds a bit slow (you can increase the speed using software)but don't have my strobe anymore to prove it and there is wow-flutter at the being of the record, but appears to reduce as it gets closer to the middle/end of record.
Emailed tech support and they think it may be defective, suggested returning it to seller for replacement.
Software:
The open source software has many options for filtering out noise, using fft processing, copying a segment (i.e. between tracks) and filter it (noise removal). As mentioned earlier, you can speed up the recording also. Haven't found any option to remove the wow/flutter problem and doubt that it can be done.
Using the worn album, I could remove the most clicks/pops between the tracks, but could not within the music.
Recommendation:
If you are not an audiophile, then this may be good enough to record your records to CD, computer or mp3 player. Otherwise, I would recommend that you dust off your old turntable and receiver with a phono/preamp and use it instead...remember you will need a stereo line in on your sound card, as most computer microphone inputs are monaural.

I bought one of these to get music off of rare old records, some dating back to the 1930s. So far I have tried 45s and 33 rpms. It works just fine using the Audacity software. To do 78s, you have to change it using the software once you have recorded. I plan to try that next.
At first I had problems because I could not figure out how to start the turntable going round. There is no on button for this turntable. It starts when the tone arm is moved over the record. However, mine would not start turning even then. I had to remove the platter and put the belt into place. I was completely off. Perhaps that happened in shipment or maybe it was never put on during manufacture. Anyway, once the belt was in place, the machine worked perfectly fine. It isn't a robust piece of equipment. But I believe it will do the work that I need just fine, which is taking the music off of old records.
Turntable does as advertised.......2007-06-30
First and foremost, it works well and easy to use with very little setup hassle. If you simply want to record your records to a computer, this does the job. There is no feedback, no grounding issues and quality is pretty good. The turntable though is cheesy as far as quality feel. It reminds me of a turntable I had as a kid, but what can you expect for @ $100? I might also note that the needle (not a cartridge) does not look user replaceable so you need to be extra careful, but it does have a cueing button to gently set down tone arm onto a record which is nice. Yes, this also has a built in hard shell dust cover too. The Audacity software program is ok and instructions could be clearer, but it works. I simply use this program to transfer the music to my computer then i use a higher quality program to remove any clicks, pops, etc.. All and all, this is a good turntable for the money.

I bought this product because it has USB to connect to your computer. If you use this handfree with cell phone it works perfect, but when you connect it through USB it takes many cpu cycles, making my computer slow during voice chat. I noticed this behavior while using Skype. Other than that, it installed automatically on my Vista box, without any drivers.
Windows down on the freeway!.......2007-07-29
Several cell phone savy folks recommended Plantronics versus the Motorolas - so I trialed *3* Plantronics against my old H850. They are models: Explorer 350, the Discovery 665 and the Voyager 510. I must say that this middle priced range of headsets ($50-$99 for these 3) is the best - hands down! (Awesome price on Amazon by the way...)
After paring them to my Blackjack (with AT&T Service) I decided to put them through the ultimate noise test...I-5 Seattle. The other 2 models: the caller on the other end was VERY quiet with the volume maxed out, windows up and sterio off. However, the Voyager's volume was maxed and plenty loud and clear that a decrease in volume was in order. In fact, I challenged it further by rolling the windows down, sun roof up and the caller stated that she could only hear a minor difference in background noise ~ON THE HWY~. Saaaweeeeet!
Since I didn't want to make it a trip to the state of Oregon, I decided to jump off of the freeway. Again, windows down -I added the radio noise on a low-mid volume. Wonderful! No complaints of echoing on either end, no break-ups (which could be b/c of one's service provider?) and the headset was snug and comfy.
Other great attributes you might ask? The Voyager is fast & easy to turn on and to wear. I can also use it as a hands-free headset on the business landline if I buy the cradle.
Yes, it is on the larger side, but you don't notice it when you get used to it. Besides, the other ones feel a lot less secure on the ear nor are they able to reach the audible part of one's face as well.
My only complaint is that it doesn't come with a car or usb charger - just the wall charger. (The car charger can't cost too much dough.)
Compared to the Motorola H850...all three blew this one out of the water. It would get an 'F' grade due to the high noise levels, occassional echoing and extremely low volume on regular streets.

I will have to admit, this is my first headset to own and use. I researched a lot to find a headset that would be comfortable on my ear and have quality audio on both sides of the conversation. The Voyager 510 has all of this. It is however larger than most, if not all of the bluetooth headsets out on the current market. So if you don't mind a little larger headset, this is a great buy. It has great battery life and has a large radius to reach your bluetooth device. It currently works seamlessly with both my computer and Razer cell phone. To keep it protected, I got an old Altoids metal box, padded the inside, and I keep my headset in there when I am mobile.

I would rate this product as excellent even I had to do some troubleshooting.
Here is a problem I had: when I connected the USB device, installed the software, registered with base, etc. I did not hear audio on a Panasonic phone. The reason was that Panasonic USB Audio was not listed in Playback devices. After some time I found it conflicted with Logitech USB webcam (in your case it could be other USB device Panasonic is conflicting with). So the solution is to disconnect USB webcam or another usb device before plugging in Panasonic USB (or in device manager uninstall USB Audio for Panasonic, unplug webcam, search for hardware change and install Panasonic USB Audio, plug webcam back)
The only other minor thing which I don't like is that I can't log off/login from Skype using the phone, so when I don't want to receive Skype calls (obviously at night) I need to step down to my basement and turn Skype off on my computer.
Tip: set Skype AUDIO IN/OUT to Panasonic, but leave default audio device to your computer audio system and you can use it simultaneously.

Excelent product that delivers what promises. One minor flaw, though: Since it needs to "take posession" of the PC sound in/out (i.e. mic and speakers) with the XP it is not quite simple to use the sound for anything else simultaneously with this device.

The 'perfect' keyboard.......2007-09-03
I have had several of these and would definitely suggest this to anyone with arm and wrist pains due to extensive and repetitive typing. The shape of the keyboard helps alleviate the pains. It is larger than your typical keyboard, so make some space on your desk. Also, this has a PS2 connection, so you will need a PS2 to USB cable if you are going to use it with new machines that only have USB ports (like Dells).

It is what it is. It's a good Ergonomic PS/2 keyboard. My only warning is that if your a quick typer be prepared for a learning curve as the keys are "stiff". Being use to logitech keyboards (which have a soft touch), I missed a lot of keys until I got use to how much pressure I need to sucessfully create a keystroke.
Letters wear off!.......2007-05-18
This is a wonderful keyboard with correct "6" spacing and excellent comfort level. It has been very durable for the 3 months that I have owned it. In fact, everything is perfect about this keyboard except that the letters have all worn off. Yes, I am a medical transcriptionist and type 40+ hours a week on this. I know this is a lot of use, but I keep remembering the IBM Selectrics that I learned on in high school that were 30 years old but still had all the letters intact. Even the paint on the symbol keys is wearing off, which could be a problem as I don't have these memorized.
I am really irritated about the cheapo letter paint. I hope it isn't toxic as I have absorbed it all in my fingertips.
Great Keyboard.......2007-04-07
This is an excellent keyboard for those of you who spend all day typing. I got my wife this keyboard and she says her wrists and hands feel much better then her old style keyboard. If you have wrist pain due to poor ergonomics and all day on the computer, this may just be the keyboard for you. Takes a few days to get used to with the layout, but it makes a world of difference and is worth the temporary setback.

I'm a professional medical transcriptionist of 12 years. It's my job to type over 2000 lines of text a day. I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. I NEED a good, dependable ergo keyboard that will keep my speed up and pain down.
I was using the new Microsoft keyboard until I developed a twitch in my right thumb that was so severe that pens started falling out of my hand. Not so good. Not so ergo.
Don't mistake this keyboard for the Ergoboard PRO. That is also made by Belkin but feels totally different and is very fatiguing for extensive typing.
This one has a clicky, very tactile keyboard (translated: it's noisy), and some people don't like that, so just be aware. Yes, the "power" button is really annoying. Just pop it off. And keep it, and make a bracelet out of your collection of them when you have to replace the keyboard after about 5 months (at my level of usage, so that probably translates to 1-2 years for other users).... because the space bar will wear out and stop working. And you'll want the same keyboard again. And you'll have a subsequent collection of dismembered "power" keytops. Cool jewelry.... power bracelet ;-)
Anyway, I see it's getting hard to find, hope they aren't on the outs. I love them... they are worth replacing every few months.
