I've had the JBuds for nearly a year now, and they've held up well. I would say that the noise reduction is decent, but not as significant as with my battery-powered Sony MDR-NC6. Very comfortable and good quality manufacturing.

These are amazing. Forget the price tag (which itself is a bargain), these ear buds sound really good. I did a side-by-side comparisons with Apple (in-box), Creative (in-box), Phillips noise reduction and Sennheiser PXC 250 noise reduction and I could not believe that JBuds sounded better! The ambient noise blocking is pretty good too. However, I am not sure how well it will work in a plane. The in-ear fit is pretty comfortable. Although no audiophile, I am pretty fussy about my sound quality. JBuds definitely made me happy.

The JBuds are an economic choice with reasonable performance. Their main weakness is overall frequency response which seems weak in higher frequencies. The ear buds are advertised as "noise-reducing", chiefly because the interchangeable caps are designed to fill the ear canal and block external sounds. The JBuds are nominally effective at this goal. Also, it took several days to get used to the feeling, because they rest in the ear canal, not on the outside. Incidentally, I have a Samsung MP3 player (which I love). The Samsung ear buds that came with the device were superior to the JBuds. In summary the JBuds are fairly good, especially considering the price.

Wow, these are a waste!.......2007-03-13

I bought two of the 30 packs of Verbatim Lightscribe CDRs from Best Buy. I would be very optimistic in saying that 1 out of 3 actually worked. Oh, the music burns on to them no problem, but when I flip them over to do the lightscribe label, it tells me the media is not recognized as lightscribe. This happens no matter what program I use! And what sucks even worse is that with the coating on the cd, it's almost impossible to write on, so you end up with an un-labeled cd anyways.

Oh well, back to the HP discs :)

This item works fairly well-seems like the print doesn't show up as good as it should but it could be I haven't perfected how to use the lightscribe program well enough yet. The music downloaded on them sounds great.

Worst Media Ever -- Made by CMC Magnetics!.......2007-01-13

These Verbatim discs are hands down the very WORST blank media I've EVER encountered! They're made by CMC Magnetics -- well known as the worst media manufacturer in the world. But not only are they CMC Magnetics, they're the worst of the worst of CMC Magnetics!

The latest KProbe *hangs* when faced with these, forcing a hard reset. The latest Nero Burning ROM *hangs* when faced with these, forcing a hard reset. The program continues, non-stop, to display "waiting for media" when I use these, and an attempt to abort hangs Windows XP SP2 the same way it hangs Kprobe.

Curiously, the media IDs on these are exactly the same as that on Philips LightScribe CD-R media (they're made by CMC Magnetics as well). However, at least the Philips are recognized by all my software and hardware, quite unlike the Verbatims. That's why I say that these Verbatim are the worst of the worst from CMC Magnetics. (The Philips are no prize, either, but they perform minimally well).

The *ONLY* thing that worked with these media are the LightScribe labeling. But what's the point of labeling discs you can't even RECOGNIZE, let alone burn?

I had the exact same problems with these media in both my Lite-On LH-201AH burner and my NEC ND-2510A burner (the latter is universally recognized as and ideal burner for even low-quality media).

Note that Verbatim had a great reputation when they sold media manufactured by Taiyo Yuden. But, stupidly, they chose to go ultra-cheap and turned to the dreaded CMC Magnetics Corp. Thus, they lost all credibility!

*AVOID THESE LIKE THE PLAGUE!*

I use this in the garage. There is a door inside the garage going into the house. Whenever I need to go into the garage from the house, the light just outside this door and about 8' above me, goes on with no delay. I can just come and go without giving a thought to illumination. I installed this First Alert Motion Sensing Light Socket in my garage. It worked intermittently for a couple of days and then would not turn off. I turned it off manually and tested again for several days and still would not turn off on its own. I'll try to return this obviously defective product. I'm very dissatistied with this product.

First socket that arrived was defective. Amazon promptly sent a replacement, and it is everything I had hoped that it would be. I use it in my garage. It senses when I walk in and drive in, and stays on long enough - four minutes - for me to take care of what I need to do. It sure beats reaching for a light switch each and every time I walk into the garage. Will buy more. Highly recommended !

Save $ without Flipping a Switch.......2007-08-23

This is a great device as it needs no tools, and it just works. I installed a 100W bulb that stays on for 4 minutes at a time, probably an hour or so each day, instead of a 23 wat bulb that stays on 24/7.
So: 0.1KWh for a 100W bulb vs 0.576 KWh for a Fluorescent (can't use the flourescent in this fixture, it seems). Ideally, using both would save more money. The 1st one died, they replaced it no problem

Better than the other wii gun attachments so far........2007-09-04

This Wii Gun is quite fun once you get used to it. Using it is a bit heavier then using the plain wii remote by itself but you'll get the hang of it. The little extra weight may slow your hand movement a bit, but it also helps steady your shoots a bit at the same time. Pulling the trigger to press the B button also takes getting used to since it takes a few milliseconds to pull the trigger to active the B button then pressing the button without the gun, but that can be fixed (tape anyone). With most wii shooter game out right now like the shooting game in Wii Play or the Boo mini-game in Super Paper Mario, you can press the B button instead of the A button to shoot. So if there's a shooter game that only use the A button to shoot, then you're out of luck. Pay no attention to the other review that says that this can't work with a nunchunk. Underneath the handle of the gun is a slot that you can plug in the nunchunk, so game such as Elebits and Red Steel will be no problem. Plus since the whole nunchunk is not attached directly to the gun, you can move them both separately. One other thing worth mentioning is that using the Wii Gun for too long can cause cramping in the finger but nothing too serious. Overall this is not a necessity but if you need a gun attachment to feel more in the game and can't wait for the Nintendo Wii Zapper, This is the one.

I do not own this product I am writing this as a warning to all wii owners. First person shooters such as metroid prime 3 or third person shooters such as resident evil 4 on the wii require use of both the wii remote and nunchuck attatchment. Most shooter games on the wii unless they are railbased shooters like time crisis are going to need both remotes making this gun useless. Be warned you wont be able to play these popular shooters using this gun.

This gun is deffinatly al lot of fun to use but it doesnt work with Resident Evil 4, which is the reason i bought it. No biggy though there will be other first person shooter, Metroid. Anyother problem is you have to take ff the wii strap or else it gets in the way it is kinda wierd but if you have 2 wiimotes then your fine, also it is very easy to put the strap back so no problem. For only $20 bucks it is a good deal the sort of duck hunt game on wiiplay is a lot of fun. This thing does take a liitle bit of time to get use too mainly becuase you have to pull the trigger fully not just a little (finger gets tired but not a big deal). Bottom line it is worth $20 bucks and even though it has its flaws it makes the games more realistic and fun.

I will keep this short.

The Saitek Eclipse is very well built and has a solid feel.
The action of the keys is great and I simply love the LED backlighting.
When I first saw the sound volumn buttons I sort of laughed thinking I would never use them. Now I will never buy another keyboard without them.

This is a great keyboard. A great alternative to the other more expensive one that is shown on T.V. It has two levels of brightness and also an off button so you can turn off the lighted keys if you want. It is quiet. Great for gamers or people who do a lot of typing with the lights off.

This keyboard is nice and sturdy and the keys have the right feel,plus i wanted a keyboard that lights up. So i don't have anything that i don't like about this product. My previous keyboard had sticky keys after only having it for a year 1 and 1/2.

When the sun would go down in the evening I would always mistype on my keyboard because the light from the monitor and the tv weren't enough to illuminate the keys. I typed in a search and found this keyboard called the Eclipse and it is wonderful! Every key is backlit with blue light and the it also shines thru the outline of the each letter of the keys. For thirty five dollars or so this a great bargain. And when you power off the computer the keyboard shuts down as well so there is no separate power button. I saw another keyboard listed with a red light backdrop so it is up to you which one you prefer. Saitek makes this one and so far it has met all my expectations.

While Luke Skywalker needed to use only the force in his training to become a Jedi knight (like his morally ambivalent and intermittently evil father), you will need a television set with AV inputs, an RF adaptor if your TV doesn't have those, and four AA batteries which are not included in this challenging lightsaber battle game. Simply plug in the training droid and hoist the rather dinky sword as you follow along on the TV adventures. You get a chance to fight against an array of bad guys like Jango Fett, Darth Maul, Emperor Palpatine (don't let appearances fool you, he's spry), and Anakin Skywalker while you fight alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu, and others. --Charlie Williams

this game is fun. you juke, you move, you swing, you sweat... your arms hurt. if the sensor was a little move accurate to pick up all your moves and the graphics were better this would be an all time fave, but whaddya expect for 30 bucks. its easy to travel with and easy to hook up. plus you can set the kids free on it, knowing that thier not just sittin there like big american potatoes... makes me wanna get a wii

My 4yr old LOVES this game and has defeated the entire thing. As he gets plenty of exercise we got it largely to help him with practicing and persistence. Lots of sweaty hours later and he mastered it! (I on the other hand am to level II.)

The blue cover came off the lightsaber but it works fine without it.

Great for kids (and kids at heart) of all ages (our 1yr old enjoys it as well, has even beat the first ObiWan).

I bought this as a gift for my son. He is a Star Wars fanatic. But it was not really worth the buy. The "eye" does not pick up very well. He would be playing and his "saber" wouldn't work. I moved the "eye" every which way, but was unable to get it to constantly pick up my son's movement. If it wasn't for that, this would be a fun toy.

I got this for my 4 year old nephew who happens to LOVE swords. First off, this game actually works well enough once it's set up properly. The graphics are about in-between the original Nintendo and Sega Genesis and are smooth enough.
However, even I (an avid gamer) was finding myself frustrated when trying to beat certain characters or levels just a few levels into the game.
Expect your child to have hours of fun with this system, but do not expect him to be able to beat it.

Well, it was pretty cool at first, like, blocking all the blasters, and other lightsabers, BUT the graphics are horrible and it is nothing like the real thing. The laser blasts have been slowed down a ton, and it is hard to find where your lightsaber is. Furthermore, it broke after I dropped the lightsaber.

Design and Controls
Weighing in at just under a pound and a half, and measuring just six and a half inches across, the FR300 is light and compact enough to take anywhere. Simple, easy-to-grasp rotating knobs on the front of the device control tuning, volume, and band selection. As mentioned, the FR300 tunes all seven NOAA weather channels, plus the all important alert channel. In addition to AM/FM tuning, you can tune into the audio from VHF television stations -- TV1 and TV2, channels two through 13.

Connections and Power
Because the FR300 is built for those times when normal power options are not available, it provides a number of options for providing the juice it needs. An AC adapter (not included) charges the built-in Ni-MH battery pack, but again, If the power is out it can be recharged using the attached hand crank. Power can also be supplied by three "AA" batteries, and if there is no battery at all in the device -- including the rechargeable battery -- the radio will operate with continuous operation of the hand crank.

Extras
The FR300's LED light system offers three emergency lights, plus a flashing beacon mode. There's also a siren for alerting emergency responders to your location, as well as a cell phone charger for keeping your other vital communications tool topped off with power. The radio includes cell phone adapter tips for charging select models of Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Sony-Ericsson, and LG phones. Note that not all manufacturers or makes are supported.

Good for camping.......2007-08-26

We have had this radio for about two years and didn't use it much until camping this year. It was really handy for checking the weather reports and charging cell phones. Don't expect to charge a cell phone without a lot of elbow grease, but it does work. The radio has pre-programed weather frequencies which gave us a choice of regional weather reports. Also it was educational for the kids who learned that even without household outlets they could generate their own electricity and run a radio.

I purchased this for the potential of being hit by Hurricane Dean and the major purchase consideration behind it being the ability to power my cell phone(s.) Come to find out they ONLY mail the tips now after registering the product. Their customer service was good - they're sending the cord and tip out expedited mail. Would I have purchased this again - yes. BUT if you're expecting to use it immediately after opening the box, be forewarned.

I have problems with my FM reception because I am close to some foothills. I was expecting this radio to be the same as all my other ones. Surprise! It provides great FM reception. It is also a wonderful size for travel. Now when the storms come, I'll not worry when I lose all my electricity.

excellent radio. Reception is far better than what we would normally get in our valley. Works great and like the option of being able to charge your cell phone. With power outages and hurricane season, it's well worth the $$. Like the convenient carrying case too. Bright orange color makes it easy to find in a rush!

Very Good Ink in VERY Small Containers.......2007-06-01

As inks go, this appears to be very good stuff. In fact, they say it's guaranteed to last 200+ years, although I'm not sure who around me will go ask for a free cartridge if my documents or photos only last 150 years. More to the point, it DOES look great.

On the other hand, these cartridges are around 30 bucks a piece and I need 8, so it rather irks me that the cartridges are so small. Perhaps that's a comment more appropriate for a review of the printer design, but it's worth noting here.

Also worth noting is that you SHOULD NOT immediately replace the ink cartridge in your HP B9180 when you get a message from it saying that this or that cartridge is about to run out. I say this because, when mine said that, I checked the little meter that tells you how much is left and it said 40% of the cartridge still had ink in it. 40%! To me, 40% is not "about to run out," but I did go ahead and buy an ink cartridge -- I just held onto it until it really became obvious that it was no longer printing that color. Only then did I replace the cartridge, because doing otherwise is needlessly wasting money.

I'm not quite cynical enough to say that HP WANTS you to replace (and recycle) the ink cartridges prematurely, but it obviously would make them more money if you do. Just keep your eyes open and you'll be fine.

HP 38 inks are very high-priced, so the Amazon price combined with super saver shipping is the best deal available. As for the ink, as it is essential to use the HP B9180 printer, what can one say. The inks do their job and the printer is sometimes quirky but always produces a fine print.
