i dont know what that other guy is talking about but i think this is a great little boombox! the remote control (though it doesnt have volume control on it) works from almost any angle, and is not big or bulky. it is dual powered, and has a detatchable cord to plug into an outlet. when running on batteries, however, it cannot use the CD function. I was let down by that alittle, but for only $.., it great!!!!!

I bought this boom box for the price but I did expect what features it has to work ok. Well I am very disappointed to say the least. The minute I got it I hooked it up and it just sounds terrible. I put in a brandnew cd and turned the volume up about 1/2 way and the volume cuts in and out. On the tape mode it doesnt do it. I would also like to point out that the FM stereo reception is terrible. I pulled in more stations on my cheap walkman. In the future I will go with a brand I know and stay away from the real cheap stuff. I just hope I can help atleast one other person in the buying decision of this thing. It looks and the description sounds great but it's a headache in a box.

I got this as a gift. I not real hot on coca-cola products but I think its nice especially when its lit up. The problem I have with it is that it's very difficult to tune into a station and to even figure out where the station is. The dails on this radio are so small that you can't figure out what station your on. The static is bad and you have to have the radio in a certaion postition to get the best percipition. Once when you have that it does sound as good as any other radio.

Good drive.......2002-02-28

In the past the Amazon.com used to be a decent place to shop. Unfortunately it changed.
I ordered a CD-RW drive from Amazon in January 2002. They shipped a wrong item. I sent it back and
asked them to ship a correct item. In a five days I received CD-RW but used one instead of new.
I called them many times since asking to provide a return authorization. They apologize every time but donýt send me anything. I had to ask the American Express for assistance (I paid with AmEx card) to get my money back. Meantime I ordered CD-RW drive from OUTPOST.COM and received a package in two days. The price was better than in Amazon even including a sales tax.
Apparently Amazon hired a low-pay idiots who donýt know what they are doing.
Morale: The shopping at Amazon is a hassle and frustration. You can buy for less and with much better service from Outpost.COM (it is affiliated with Fryýs), ABTELECTRONICS.COM (Chicago store).
