Good Price - But caution re. "built-in" write-protect switch".......2007-09-24
Good price, I needed two, and by buying two I got free shipping. I loaded up the first one with no problem. The 2nd one i plugged into a port on my Canon printer, and when i tried to load files onto it, got the error msg that the drive is "write-protected". There is no little write-protect switch on these things. Called Kingston tech support to ask about the "built-in" write-protect switch" they didn't seem to be able to explain how that works or how to turn it off, and said if you can't write to it, you have to return it. This was not what I wanted to hear. Then I moved it to the SD port on the computer and was able to write to the chip with no problem. Printer must have a bad port (not enough voltage to write?). Note - Actual usable memory was 1.87Gb.

For me, it came down to the Kingston and Sandisk. The final verdict? Kingston had a cheaper price and guaranteed me lifetime warranty. I haven't had a problem with it yet and to be honest, I'll be buying another one soon. Why pay $25 in stores for a 1GB when you can get a 2GB for the same price?

This is an essential accessory for those who want to take full advantage of the Wii gaming system. Boxing is fun with someone you love, but it also serves as a good aerobic workout for you using this device. Other reviews have done a very good job explaining the tricks for using this, so I will just comment that you need to get at least 2 of these (buy an extra) if you get the system. Four if you are getting a full sytem.

You'll need a wii mote to use this and many games will require you to have it in order to play. It uses the batteries from your wii mote. It can detect motion like the wii mote but you can't point at the screen with it. I t has an analog stick and two buttons. The only cons are that it does not vibrate, you can't click the analog stick like the xbox 360 controller, seems overpriced, and it is not included with the wii mote.

The Wii Nunchuck Controller is an attachment to the Main Wii Controller which is sold seperatly. Theres really nothing much to this except you most likely need this for most games that are out right. I just wish they didn't have to sell this seperatley from the main Wii COntroller because the Nunchuck is an important thing to have. Why do we have to pay over $20 just to get this which can only be powered by the wii controller and that the only thing that this has are 2 buttons and a Joy-Stick. A more reasonable price for this is $9.99 or maybe even $14.99, but over $20 is a little much for this kind of thing.

This is one of those cases of "I didn't know what I was missing until I tried it"
I was fine with a wired controller and decided to get this just because I wanted to be able to turn off my xbox remotely from my bed, rollover and go to sleep without having to get out of bed to put the controller away.
I wish I had gotten it from day 1 now; the lack of cables is just so comfortable I can't go back to wired now. My dog no longer trips over the cord while I'm playing, I can have the controller with me while I'm on my computer and use it to browse through pictures, videos, or music in Media Center; and it makes watching DVD movies with the girlfriend all more enjoyable since I don't have to get all tangled up with the cable every time I pause it for bathroom breaks.
Battery life so far is great; I'm not a heavy user, but I've been using this controller for about two hours every night since I got it a week ago, even with the rumble feature on I still haven't had to recharge it once.
I highly recommend this controller, and while you are at it pick up a quick charge kit too.

I fought the idea of going wireless for quite a long time, as I was extremely satisfied with my wired unit. I play with friends that have wireless controllers, I initially did not like the feel or the weight of the controller. Now having a need to purchase another controller, I decided to be the last of my team and buy one. I could not be happier! Now, I see why they have enjoyed playing wireless. Yes, I have found that the battery pack that comes with the unit and uses Two AA batteries is what makes it weigh differently. I also purchased the Quick Charge Kit, which comes with a Battery Pack which is lighter than the controllers' pack. Once I was able to charge the pack and switch it in the controller, my weight problems were gone. I simply love this controller now, wireless is the way to go!.....

This is a great HDMI cable for the price. At Best Buy it will cost you 3 times more expensive which is the same cable, it carries digital signal, so there is no distorsion, the cable has gold tip and is oxygen free cooper. At first I was in doubt but after I reading reviews from many customers I decided to give it a try, the delivery was on time, I hooked it to my samsung DLP 56" using a sony dvd player and the picture looks great. Don't pay for a brand name for the same thing.

(1) Bought this router because the old one brick-ified with Vista (old and new same model, but different versions, see below). But at $50, was not going to spend the time fixing the old one, because cheaper to replace instead.
(2) the setup wizard, which it (tries to) force you to run in order to use the router, did not work for me. Albeit my setup is probably more sophisticated than the average home user. Instead I ended up configuring it through the browser (via http://192.168.1.1/).
Purchased this to replace a 5-year-old WRT54G that died. Note, while both old and new are the same model, they are different versions, 1 and 8 respectively (check the Linksys web site support center - there are eight versions of this router). As of this review, you would be getting version 8 of this router. So scrutinize recent reviews (i.e. from present to 6 months ago) to help you make a decision, because some reviews date back as far as 2003, which is really reviewing a different product at that point in time.
Regarding operating systems, I run Vista 64 Home Premium, Mac OSX 10 and a WinXP on a desktop and two laptops respectively. The desktop is wired and the laptops are both wireless. The laptops connect via 802.11g using WEP 128-bit encryption. Plus, I also have an MFC device (Brother 8840DN) connected via Ethernet to the router as well. All three computers and the MFC work without issue.

I have been using the TI-83 plus for about three weeks now and I wouldn't go to my MA103 class without it. It does the job and is more affordable than some of it's other counter parts. All in all I recommend it, but if you will be going into much lengthier math studies in later years you may consider spending the extra money on the better versions of the TI series.

It is not as easy as the TI-86 I had in 2000, it is better than the TI-83.
In 2000, I had a great professor in Statistics I. He broke the manual down, of the TI-86, into 30 pages of simple English, and, I "got it" on how to work it. This manual is a little more complicated and assumes that you know the stuff already. They forget that their market is- those who DON'T know how to already, they're students!
So, here's what you do. Set aside a day, yes, A DAY, to read and understand the manual. BUY IT BEFORE CLASS STARTS!!! If you can, buy your textbooks early too and PRACTICE IT! If you do, you will be spared what I went through.
All and all, it is a great product that I reccommend, but, you have to practice on it!!! GOOD LUCK!
ti-83+ pretty good.......2007-03-18
I'm not really 13, but don't have an account anyways. It's good because it has a large user base and well does some things okay. It can do most level 1 calculus things. Don't expect it to go farther than the high school level. Although it seems crappy (kinda of is comparted to ti-89 T) and a little to expensive, (it kinda is), it does its job well and has plenty of user made games and programs that excel the functionality of this calculator. This guide lasted me 6 years, well until the battery spring crapped up. I dropped in dozens of times on hard concrete and accidentally kciked it while picking it up and does fine. So anyways here are some key functions:
2-d graphing, numerical integration, summations, numerical derivatives, calculates slope, area under a cure graphically, BASIC programming editor, all functions found of scientific calcs, Matrices, linking, applications, some other stuff, Lists, just a lot of stuff, solver, polynomials.
Downloadable: 3-d graphing, calculation of pi to thousand digits or so, grayscale games, world map, symbolic differentiation, formulas, etc. and sound files.
This is not a really powerful calc, if you want something that will last you, I suggest a ti-84 + SE. It's 2.5x faster, 9x the memory, has a clock, looks cooler, (bad key contrast though), nice screen, usb connectivity, just a bunch of cool stuff.

I just wanted to say this item is perfect. I have bouught several of the Kingston DataTraveler's and find them perfect for storing my music on. I hate tying up my hard drive with hundreds of mp3's and this works perfectly for that while still being able to access my music whenever I need to. The Sansa e260 will play MP3, WMA, and secure WMA formats. Other formats can be converted using the Sansa Media Converter (included). The e260 also uses PlaysForSure technology. My first and last Sansa.......2007-09-25
I read quite a few negative reviews about the Sansa, but I still decided to give it a shot. When I got it, I carefully followed all the instructions and loaded my music. While listening to it, the screen went white and the Sansa died ... after less than one hour of play. And I mean it really, quite sincerely died. Guess I should have heeded all those negative reviews. I went to SanDisk's website to try to troubleshoot it, but the amount of work they expected me to do to on a brand new product was unreasonable. Fortunately, Amazon took it back and gave me a prompt and hassle-free refund. I'll stick with MUVO...

I really do enjoy this mp3 player, a very reasonable price for 4 gigs. I did not expect however 2 gigs will be pre-installed with music from Rhapsody, it would have been nice to select the songs myself...other than that totally satisfied witht the product.

I bought the Sansa e270 as a gift for my brother in May. Now in September its back part is all craked up with a little piece coming off. He hasn't dropped it. The company says that "my brother used it too much or carried it with him too long." The product page says that it can play 96 hours of music. If he already played that much, does it mean that the MP3 is already obsolete and it is disintegrating? Does it mean that a MP3 should be kept at home not carry it with you? Hello!!!I think these products are designed to be carried it with us and to stand continued use since that's why they were created for in the beginning. There is no complain about the performance since it does its job. The main issue you should put attention to if you are thinking about buying one of these is the durability. Also, the custumer attention. The company does not give you any option, but to buy another one. Amazon says that a refund can be issued only after 30 days of purchase. But the device was ok until a month ago. I had never heard of an MP3 cracking up and falling apart after just 4 months of use! What can be done in this case? Is it Amazon.com's fault for not doing a good reasearch on the companies they sell products from? Or is it the company for not making good quality products that can stand a normal period of use without breaking up and falling apart? That's why I gave it only one star. The device works, but only for a short period of time. Not even 6 months and it is already falling apart. I regret so much that I bought this in the first place. For the price I paid for it, I think that you better invest a little more and get yourselves an iPod. My sister has one, bought it in the same month and is fine. Or you can still buy yourselves the Sansa...and be ready to replace it every 4 months...You do the math...

I bought this MP3 player and a new iPod at the same time. I returned the iPod, if that tells you anything. With this MP3 player, you are not tied to iTunes. I wish I had known which protective skin to buy for it because the one I have seems to interfere a bit with the volume roll button, but that's not biggie really. I pretty much use the player with my Rhapsody account and to load favorite songs from CDs. I had no idea how handy I would find the voice recorder. I can pop a message to myself in it while I am driving or working and my life is becoming a bit more organized by using this tool.
I also love having a radio feature. In town, reception is great! I can sit by the pool at the gym and listen to my favorite stations. The numerous features in this player take it far ahead of the very popular, however severely limited, iPod.

It's an MP3 player... nothing really shocking about it. It works really well with Rhapsody and will save you boucoup dollars if you have a large appreciation for music. Long battery life... not much else to say... it plays music!

Best in Class, But not Perfect.......2007-09-25
I've had this HD DVD player in my home for almost a year now. It was a rough start but we've made nice since then. I still have not seen a better HD DVD player in this price range so I'm calling it Best in Class. The picture is great and the sound is fantastic. I have a very good audio system set up and use all digital hook-ups.
The drawbacks are that you do need to either connect to the internet to get regular (quarterly) software upgrades. I get mine via CD disk as my DVD player did not take well to the direct USB connection. The updates are easy and take about 10 minutes. Since the updates the load time for the disc is faster and I have noticed fewer glitches during playback. The biggest issue for me is the long start up time, about 1 minute from the time you press the power button.
Highly recommend, but its like a new relationship, take the time to appreciate it and you will be rewarded.
Needs Upgrading.......2007-09-23
I purchased this refurished to go with my new 720P projector. This was in the original box and sealed. I am assuming that it was a factory refurb as opposed to an open box.
The projector was also refurbished as well and it came with DVI input instead of HDMI. The player has a regular HDMI output. There are known problems with the player outputting through DVI. Toshiba support told me to upgrade the machine to get it to work. When I upgraded it still did not work. I got back to Toshiba Support and they said I would need a disc. I found out that I just needed to upgrade a second time and it would work fine, and it does.
The HD-DVD upconverts and actually makes the detail in 480P DVD's approach the resolution of a HD-DVD. HD-DVD's on the two machines is just awesome.
Great HD-DVD Player.......2007-09-23
This player is great. I've got it connected to a Dell 37" LCD via a cheap HDMI cable and the picture is VERY crisp (no need to spend tons of money on monster cables). I can't say that it does much to existing DVD's regarding the up convert though. When turning the player on, it's a little slow to boot up to open the door. I've got it connected to my network and did all of the updates for it over the internet instead of having to order a cd from Toshiba...great thinking Toshiba. I would definitely recommend this player. This player has exceeded my expectations.

Overall this HD DVD Player is awesome great looking picture sound is amazing. Make sure you updated before you play it. Only negatives i can find are yes it does load a bit long when you first start it and a couple of times i have had to load a disc and it not display to turn it off and try again and then it will display. Heroes looks awesome :0 cant wait for Transformers.
