Just like the last 3 Sony controllers I bought, this one sucks. As soon as I plugged it in, and turned on the game, the person I was trying to control starting moving backwards at a pretty fast clip. When I got it to stop moving backwards, he starting moving to the right just as fast. It was impossible to control him. I have since purchased a controller from Alienware, and it works perfect. Sony sucks. They have lost all interest in quality control. They are going on their name alone. I have 2 sons who have exactly the same problem with thier Sony controllers. I was going to send it back, but I just figured it would be a hassle, so I threw it away. Forget Sony if you want anything with high quality. I am not someone who abuses the game counsels or any thing that has to do with them. I am 61 years old and have been playing video games for a looooooong time. And my sons are 32 years old and 41 years old. They are not abusive little kids.

I was very skeptical when i first saw this product. How much better could a wireless 3rd party controller be against Sonys own wired controller? Answer: a whole lot better!

The Logitech controller feels better, is more comfortable, and feels like it has a better quality then Sonys own controller. I especially love the shoulder and analog buttons much more then Sonys own.

But what about the wireless function? Its amazing!
The wireless technology works flawless 100% of the time, has a huge range of 30 feet, and takes away all the clutter of wires.

The bottom line is if you own a PS2 then you must own this controller. Its that simple. Once you try this controller it will quickly become your favorite one.

I recently decided I'd teach my girlfriend how to play Guitar Hero. Well then I decided it was time to pick up a second guitar so we could play head to head. After taking some thought on the matter I decided I was going to go wireless. Very good decision I might add. This controller has great range. Performs just as well if not better than the standard wired controller. Only difference between the two is obviously the body style, and the fret buttons are slightly recessed on the wireless. They don't stick out quite as far as the wired controller. I like this feature though. I find it easier to play faster note patterns with it like this. Great product!

When I purchased this guitar i was wicked excited to use it and thought it would be awesome. I was wrong, it is ok if you dont play on expert. I use to never fall songs and since ive gotten this guitar i havent beat a tough song on expert. The buttons push really hard which makes it really hard to play anything that is really fast. I am very disappointed and wish i would have bought a wired guitar!

This is the 2nd guitar we have purchased. When buying the first at a local mall for my 13 yr old grandson several older teens stopped us to say that was a great item. That had him floating on air. It is constantly in use by his uncles, aunts and 10 yr old sister. Now with the new one they can play together or compete. I have even tried my hand at it and that makes it 3 generations.

I got this controller a few days ago and I already hate it. I thought it would be great because its wireless. That's probably the only great part about this controller. I play on expert, which requires a lot of hammer-ons and pull-offs, and with this controller, the action is MUCH slower. The buttons are a bit sticky and stay pressed down a split second after the note is released. This completely screws up my streak in the solos and basically any notes that are very close together. Also, the whammy bar is loose, causing it to face downward when I'm playing, so I hafta find the whammy bar every time a tail comes along. The strum bar also springs back too far sometimes, causing the note to be hit more times than intended. Oh, and the buttons are facing the wrong way (the round edges facing me rather than the ground). I'm most likely gonna sell this controller and get one of the wired controllers instead. They're more reliable.

Logitech Cordless MediaBoard was Okay product for its price.
When using your SIXAXIS controller for typing texts, it is reluctant and tiring. A solution to stop tiring your thumbs is to use a keyboard and here come the Logitech Cordless MediaBoard.

This product is supposedly made for PS3 but there are no specialized function keys for PS3 and there are no noticable change from a normal PC keyboard. However, the positive points of this product is that it is light-weight, wireless, touchpad installed (with vertical scrolling on XMB, ect), and it is AA battery.

When you first touch the keyboard, you are going to be surprised by its weight and start concerning if you bought the correct item. BUT! this light-weight structure helps you in twoways. 1)great mobility 2) doesnt tire your arms.

Some things that Logitec should of worked on was to paint the surface all black so it would match the coloring with the PS3. It wouldnt be a hard job for them to paint the surface with black. One other thing that should be changed is to reduce the cheap touch of the keyboards. The keytouch cheap because it clicks-and-clacks.They should of put more effort in making the overall item look more luxirious and "rich-looking."

The price was about $70 ~ $80 which was a pretty thrifty price for its functions. Its wireles, installed touchpad, and "cross-platformable" between PC and PS3 without any installation. This is a must-buy product for those who want a keyboard right now for their PS3. People who want a more developed keyboard should wait for a little while.

Remember. Unreal Tournament supports mouse and keyboard so before its release a keyboard and a mouse is definate must-buy accessories for PS3.

Tough to call it a "PS3" keyboard.......2007-09-02

I couldn't wait to surf the net etc. with the new keyboard as the PS3 controller makes it cumbersome to enter text. But I am very disappointed in this product (enough that I will probably return it) because it does not support the special PS3 controller functions that make surfing with PS3 easier. For example, on a large screen TV the R3 button allows easy zooming and the on screen options show a triangle or circle or X to directly enter commands but these keys (or keys that you could possibly program) do not exist on the keyboard. It seems that this would be easy to do and would make it a perfect accessory for the PS3. They way it is now you still need to sit with the Sixaxis controller and this keyboard. Shame on Logitech for billing this as a "PS3" keyboard when it is just a regular keyboard with absolutely no special features that make it a true "PS3" device. Maybe Sony will market one?
Positive note: works immediately with no real setup or fiddling.
Do not know of a better alternative at this time however. If anyone does please respond.

Types like a laptop keyboard.......2007-08-23

This product is easy to use, versatile, and is nice to use with my PS3. A few drawbacks: it types like a laptop because of its flat design, I can't toggle between windows on the PS3, and I still have to use the remote to zoom.

Other than that, it works fine. It's also handy to plug into my laptop from time to time!

I would say that if you use the PS3 for the Internet a lot, you should definitely purchase this item!

You can also use this great combo with your HTPC. Just pop in the USB adapter and Windows XP or Media Center instantly recognizes the mouse and keyboard. Truly plug and play.

The battery seems to work forever. It's been 2 months and I haven't even thought about replacing them.

I also really love the full-size touchpad. It is much better than some of the gimicky-pointer options out there today. Allthough I still love the dual-design of my Microsoft WEK 7000's navigation pad.

The keyboard layout is simple. No-frills.

Its a great system, the older version would always give me problems.-. -.
and it couldn't read old disks, you know, the black or blue CDs, like the old final fantasy series. Graphics are the same of course, since its a system. I would suggest this to anyone, its conveniant for anyone with a small room, thats badly cluttered. The wires get annoying to continuously push in and out of the rear of the system to turn it off...but otherwise go ahead, buy it. This review is by a 15 3/4 yr old. --the three quarters is very important!!!

I own a Wii, Playstation One, GameCube etc....On Fathers day I bought myself a PS2 (not going to wait for someone to remember fathers day anymore..I'll take care of myself ;-) )
There are sooo many great games for this system that it is just too good to pass up. We all know games make the system...When I first got the Wii I played it all the time, but there has been just too many mediocre games made for it that I just play my playstation 2. The playstation 2 has great games!! I am an RPG guy myself, so I can get lost in a good game...PS2 has it! The Wii is great to play one on one with the Kids, but for myself, I don't want to sit in the family room to play my games...I want to be in my office sitting up close. I think that is a big difference to get used to ..The Wii needs a lot of space ...so NIX close quarters. That limits you to playing in either a Living Room or Basememt, but I like to be in my home office, where the Wii remote would be a NoNo!!! PlayStation 2 goes anywhere ...I can hook it up to my computer screen via S connector, My portable TV or take it up to my bedroom and play..its about the size of a book!
I love the Wii...but it is limited in Portability...PS2 goes anywhere!
And the games Win hands down so far (Maybe next year, Wii will get some addictive games out there.)

It's great not having to hold onto a microphone to play the PS2 games I like, don't get me wrong. The problem is, if you want to pass the mic, it's not so easy, and if you get intense, it's all sweaty for whomever wants to put it on their head next. For some reason, the sound quality of voices through the set are distorted and a little flaky when speaking loudly.

I was kind of skeptical about purchasing this item and its performance on my HDTV, but once i plug it in...one word: Amazing

I am ashamed that I once thought my PS2 was now a "retro" console, but these cables brought it back to life. However, the only reason why I am still using my PS2, eventhough I do have a Playstation 3 is because of the fact that Sony hasn't made it possible to play Gutar Hero on the PS3. As of right now there are a few number of PS2 games that support "Progressive Scan": God of War II and Guitar Hero II. But once i swicth from the standard Yello-Red-White cables, i could really tell the difference right from the main menu.

I recommend you only get this cable if you have an HDTV and not for a standard tv because of the progressive scan ablility that will truely bring out the power of the PS2.

I have my PS2 hooked up to a 40" Samsung 1080p LCD HDTV...

This pad works very well. Great price. After a while the plastic DOES rip but that's because my brother and I have been using it as a work-out device. Nothing a nice piece of tape can't fix. The up-arrow key tends to "press" on its own, however it does not interfere with the game play because when you step on it it still records it.

Dance Pad for DDR lots of fun.......2007-01-10

Being able to do Dance Dance Revolution at home is a wonderful thing! A video game that physically involves kids and is *also* fun to do? It's about time!!!

My only gripe is that the games for it are rather pricey for the amount of effort that (apparently) goes into their creation. I can't believe there isn't more competition in this area. I'd like to see some other games that use the pad for input besides DDR - perhaps they will be available someday. It would be nice if the pad came with at least ONE DDR2 game...

The pad itself is fairly rugged, though certainly not 'industrial strength' - don't even consider jumping on it with shoes on! It does fold up fairly small for storage, which is nice for a small living room. Overall, a reasonable buy - well worth it to get the kids up off the couch!

Great for the price and newbies..........2006-12-28

My daughter got DDRmax2 for Christmas and this pad. We use the pad on a marble floor and have had no slippage whatsoever (without the use of the sticky discs that come with it). I am sure it is designed for newbies, but that's all I was expecting of it. We wanted to make sure that our daughter liked this kind of game before we invested a lot of money in it and I think that's really what it's designed for. If you are a heavy user, then this pad is not for you.

this pad is definatly only for beginners I have been playing heavy and challenge for awhile now. This is the pad i started with and in beginning and light it was fine no sign of breaking but after i started playing standard it was nearly impossible ot do well. a pad i recomend is the RedOctane 3.0 ddr pad which has a think material which alows it not to move at all it ranged from 70-120 dollars

Horrible Dance Pad.......2006-12-03

I have used many dance pads for many different DDR games. This has to be the worst BY FAR. When stepping on the pad, it sounds like a diaper. Sure the pad has a no slip bottom, but its the top part of the pad you have to worry about. When getting into the faster/harder songs, the top part of the pad will slide on the middle part of the pad, creating a very dangerous circumstance. Eventually the pad will ball up underneath your feet.

For light users: 2 stars. The sound it makes when stepping on the pad is unpleasent, but is still useable.

For standard useres: 0 stars. Some songs may require you to make fast motions. The pad will slide on itself. Do not use.

For heavy users: 0 stars. Very dangerous. Good for lawsuits.
