This item fits the bill perfectly. I was looking for an iPod speaker for my 14 year old daughter to use in her room that would also charge her iPoad as well. I did not want to spend too much money as she has a tendency to break things. The I188 dock works great and does everything i needed it to do. The device arrived safe on a timely basis.
I could not be more satisfied with either the service provided or the product purchased.

Well, I *like* it..........2007-08-25
I've been using the Avervision 130 in my classroom for a year now. It's far superior to the Elmo that I was using prior to that. Like the previous reviewers have mentioned, it doesn't shut off unless it's unplugged, but that's not particularly a problem for me.
I love the flexibility of it and the ease of switching back and forth between camera and PC modes. I haven't taken advantage of all of its functions yet, but plan to explore that as I delve more into tech integration.

We use (used) this in our school. It was fine, and worked well. After reading the other review I thought I should post this. After less than a year the power switch just quit working. Bummer, I am going to buy another document camera and it will not be this one.

I bought this product and when my administrator at work hooked it up, it didn't even function properly. To turn it off you have to manually unplug the machine from the wall because the on/off switch doesn't work. I waited 3 weeks for this product to arrive and it was a huge disappointment. I will say that the picture looked good but the reaction time was really slow from the 5 minutes I had it on to use.
I would invest in a higher end model if you have the money.

Poor product, waste of money.......2007-07-06
Could not get this to work. PC and laptop did not recognize the IPOD. Took it to work and PC at work was successful but only for awhile and then the same thing happened. It did not recognize the IPOD. The IPOD gave message not to disconnect but I-Tunes (I call this Looney Tunes) did not recognize that the IPOD was connected and I could not eject it. PC would not let me disconnect. I had unplug and let the battery run out so it could reset.

I have a 5G Video iPod and I had problems getting this dock to work. Windows would recognize there was a new device, but would come back as device unknown and it wouldn't launch iTunes. I purchased a 6' Male-A to Male-A USB cable separately, then it started working for me, so I suspect the USB cable that came with the dock was the problem.

This is a great product. No more wires across the bed. Switch from one room to another without wires. Would like to buy another set for ourselves and one for my grandson, but cannot find on any shelf in stores.
direction is an issue.......2000-01-29
It is true that direction of the controller is an issue, but there are great advantages to a wireless system. This controller is convenient and eliminates tripping accidents. We have found that the product is user friendly and exhibits equivalent vibration and function of the standard controller. Our playstation is located at the level of the television, so direction of the beam is not a problem for us. Walking in front of a player disrupts play briefly for either system due to visual interference, so this is not really a problem unless you have a high traffic area in front of your T.V. We think the overall performance is excellent!

These wireless controllers are excellent IF AND ONLY IF, you point them at the PSX unit where the receiver is and it is very sensitive with its line of site. I recomend them, but nobody can walk in front of you, and you have to always point the controller which means you may not be able to just lay down and play.

I got this controller and I thought the guy who review this was wrong. The controllers work for some games like Football, but racing games they do not. They are alright but you have to have them pointed at the playstaion I enjoy playing with them but they are not great for some games.

These controllers are very easy to use and set up in seconds. My living room is a good 20ft and they work just fine. No more cords to trip on and pull out of the handset. Just try and get these away from the kids to play yourself.

The Olympus D-400 is an excellent Digi-cam for the money. But beware of the Bloodhound Virus which came with the included FlashPath Floppy Adapter. Luckily, Norton's Anti-Virus took care of it. All in all, the package is a good deal,but just run a scan on the FlashPath before you load anything with it.
A very comfortable way to get into digital photography.......1999-12-23
Compact, flexible, easy to use and dependable, this is an unbeatable camera for the price. Image quality is very good, especially if you use the included software to enhance it. Comes with a bunch of cables, including one that lets it output to a TV, and best of all, a floppy adapter. This device (which normally sells for around $) lets a standard floppy drive read the camera's SmartMedia card, and is by far the most convenient way to upload images to your PC.

I started using this camera two months back and have found it to be good in all aspects of the camaera world. I use it for a hobby and am thoroughly pleased with all of the scenes i have taken some 800. The only flaw is the need for and ac adapter. Other than that it is and excellent camera.

This is a wonderful camera, it does more than I can totally learn in one setting. The instruction manual is easy to read and follow. My first pics were a snap and I'm sure will only get better. My only criticism is that it doesn't come with the requisite software to use the floppydisk adaptor. Thank goodness Olympus has a great website that not only can you get your questions answered, but you can down load instructions and software to make the connection between camera to floppy disk adaptor to computer relatively easy.
