I bought a gel-eez wrist rest a couple of years ago, and out of all the trinkets and gadgets I've tried, this is by far the best. Most other wrist rests come too stiff, and won't let your wrists rest comfortably like this one. This is the second one I buy (first one was victim to my cat's claws), and I searched a lot to get another one. Stick it in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes, and the cool feeling will help soothe pain from wrist tendinitis.

A decent wrist rest.......2001-12-31

I use my computer a lot and I started to develop a repetitive strain injury (RSI) from having the base of my right wrist resting on the table all the time. I decided to find a cheap wrist rest that would help reduce the strain, so I bought the Case Logic Gel-eez wrist rest.

It is a decent wrist rest, but nothing special. It has two gel-filled tubes that provide adequate support, but only if you follow the little instruction sheet and shorten the length of the tube (by squeezing the gel a bit to one side and adjusting the velcro strap). I agree with a previous reviewer that the material easily attracts dust, but that's not too big a deal for me. Someone else mentioned that the ends are not aesthetically pleasing because of the strap sticking out...well, the strap has a velcro tab on it that allows you to adjust the length...when you do that, the strap stays underneath and no longer sticks out.

Overall, this wrist rest is good enough for typing and using the mouse. It's relatively comfortable and cheap to buy, so if you don't want to shell out the big bucks for a $50 super-ergonomic rest, you could give this one a try.

not too "gel-eez".......2001-11-10

The gel is a little flat, there is a soft plastic crinkly sound when you press your wrists on it and the fabric is a dust magnet. As you can see on the image, there are tabs that stick out on the end which is aesthetically not too pleasing. It is a low budget gel wrist rest and just when I thought I couldn't do better for the price, I did. I recommend shopping around at some computer sites for some other less known brands, like Belkin or Inland which I'm using now (and got for the same price) if you don't want to pay a little more for a Fellowes.

But, don't buy them by mail order if they're a chance they will be shipped by air. I have two business trips and one ill-considered... order to support a guess that the gel can degrade in the low-pressure environment during flight. It goes flat. ...

there's a reason this item is discontinued. Though it looks beautiful it cannot survive the rigors of watching more than 5 DVDs. Mine will not turn on after maybe 5 hours of viewing. It's not the battery and it's not the power-plug -- there's something internally wrong.

CH-LDV1010RS vs. CH-LDV1010B.......2007-02-01

Some merchants on Amazon are advertising the silver Portable DVD Player CH-LDV1010B ( as pictured ) but shipping instead a black CH-LDV1010RS.

The CH-LDV1010RS is a slightly cheaper model. It is thinner but with a wider profile because the battery is located on the back of the unit instead of underneath the unit. Consider calling/emailing the merchant to confirm the exact model number before you order.

I bought one of these at DataVision for a flight I had the following day with my 2 year-old.

2 hours into the flight, it stopped working - it kept telling me to insert a disc even though there was one in it. It never worked again.

At least DataVision were good & easy about replacing/crediting me

I have a cyberhome 712 personal dvd player. It is a piece of (...) and the company is also. Had the machine for less than a year and the hinges broke. We have probably used it 5 times and it fell apart. Sent it back to the company and I had to pay to have it fixed. evidently a year doesn't mean a year. hinges are not covered. Ignorant people in their customer service department and the warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on.

I bought the CH-LDV1010A from QVC for around 300$ (5 payments even!). I was really interested in the 10" size to reduce eye strain and think it is the perfect size. We have watched a couple movies and I really can find no faults. I have nothing to compare it to as far as portables go, but I can say the picture is clear and colors are vivid. Sound - is not like a stereo TV, but good for a portable player as far as I am concerned. I was not going to settle for less than my expectations - would have sent this back- but it is a keeper.
The player came with the battery charged, no wait to charge up....came with all the added cords I need. I did also purchase the Cyberhome case for this 10" player from Amazon and highly recommend that too- and that even came with another set of ear phones!
I noticed there weren't many reviews for this player so I just wanted to add one and say it is worth the money and a great deal in comparison to other 10" players.
