It works........2007-09-22
It's not very fancy. It works, it can take a pretty good beating and still work. I haven't tried it in water, I wouldn't recommend water. Nope, water would be bad.
Great product, great price, promt shipping, poor packaging.......2007-09-17
I ordered 2 of these, and they are Motorola product, and they work great. I received them within 4 days of placing the order.
The only bad thing was the packaging. Hard to open, I had to use a knife. I opened it carefully, however I nicked the insulation on the cord, because the cord was pushed up against the flap.
AC Charger.......2007-08-24
I bought this usb style charger for my blackberry travel kit. Works like a charm and the price was great.
Does not work for Razr V3.......2007-08-24
Does not work, microsoft wizard keeps asking for a software CD. Unable to load, emails to seller for drivers or software are fruitless no response. Good thing it didn't cost too much!
Great.......2007-08-23
Brand new and very cheap. Thanks so much. Everyone should have 2 of these for their phone!

Customer Reviews:
good value.......2007-09-19
I've had the JBuds for nearly a year now, and they've held up well. I would say that the noise reduction is decent, but not as significant as with my battery-powered Sony MDR-NC6. Very comfortable and good quality manufacturing.
better than advertised.......2007-09-19
total noise reduction with excellent sound quality. You also get more than one cap for the head phones.
Very comfortable, accomodates all ear sizes........2007-09-17
I really like these ear buds. They are very comfortable and you can change the piece on the ends to fit the size of your ear. Three size choices which makes these very practical. With a good fit you will really get the best sound quality possible.
Best $20 ear buds.....EVER!.......2007-09-15
These are amazing. Forget the price tag (which itself is a bargain), these ear buds sound really good. I did a side-by-side comparisons with Apple (in-box), Creative (in-box), Phillips noise reduction and Sennheiser PXC 250 noise reduction and I could not believe that JBuds sounded better! The ambient noise blocking is pretty good too. However, I am not sure how well it will work in a plane. The in-ear fit is pretty comfortable. Although no audiophile, I am pretty fussy about my sound quality. JBuds definitely made me happy.
Somewhat better than average.......2007-09-14
The JBuds are an economic choice with reasonable performance. Their main weakness is overall frequency response which seems weak in higher frequencies. The ear buds are advertised as "noise-reducing", chiefly because the interchangeable caps are designed to fill the ear canal and block external sounds. The JBuds are nominally effective at this goal. Also, it took several days to get used to the feeling, because they rest in the ear canal, not on the outside. Incidentally, I have a Samsung MP3 player (which I love). The Samsung ear buds that came with the device were superior to the JBuds. In summary the JBuds are fairly good, especially considering the price.

Amazon.com Hands-On Review
The Motorola HS850 is the company's update to their HS810 headset, one of my personal favorites. The changes made to produce the new HS850 are few, but the effect is relatively substantial. But first, let's start with what is the same.
Like the HS810, the HS850 makes use of a body design that employs a folding microphone boom. The folding microphone boom acts as the on and off switch, as well as just providing a convenient way to make the headset smaller and more pocketable when not in use. When a call comes into your phone, you can turn on and answer the phone at the same time just by unfolding the microphone boom. You can end the call and turn it off by removing the headset and re-folding it. Using the headset in this way conserves battery power, since no battery juice is wasted on standby time - time where the headset sits around waiting to be contacted by a mobile phone or other compatible device. The physical design of the HS850 and the battery savings it imparts is my favorite aspect of the Motorola HS850.
Of course you don't have to remove and turn off the headset between calls. If the headset is already on when an inbound call comes, you will hear the ringing come through on the headset and can answer it by pressing on the main multi-function call control button. You can end the call with this same button, and adjust volume levels with the two volume buttons. If you are using a phone that supports the Hands Free Bluetooth profile, then you can also use the call control button to reject an inbound call or redial the last number.
The HS850's audio properties are also like those of the HS810 before it. The audio quality in both directions is very clear and understandable, but sounds a bit thin. You and the party on the other end of the call will both be able to understand each other easily, it just doesn't sound as full and natural as it might with some other headsets. The HS850 makes up for this small lacking by having great resistance to wind noise, though. That makes the headset perfect for people that enjoy driving with their windows down, or those that work outside. Most headsets are very susceptible to wind noise, the HS850 bucks that trend.
And now for the new stuff. First up, a more powerful battery. The HS850 I tested managed an amazing 7 hours and 50 minutes of talk time. That is a full two thirds improvement over the older model. The truly amazing part is that this new battery life didn't come at the expense of added weight. Like the HS810 before it, the HS850 weighs only .7oz (19.9g).
The next major change perhaps sounds more important than it worked out to be in reality. The HS850 supports the newer Bluetooth v1.2 spec, whereas most headsets support v1.1 only. Motorola claims that when used with a v1.2 compatible phone (there are still relatively few available at the time I write this), the HS850 will be able to connect faster, use less battery power, and offer improved audio quality. While I can see what appears to be a slight improvement in connection speed, I haven't really noticed much of a change in battery life or audio quality.
The last major change is purely cosmetic. The new HS850 headset is blue-gray in color, like a darker version of the HS810's color. I find it more attractive than the light silver found on the HS810.
But regardless of the color, you can't go wrong with Motorola's HS850, which I consider to be perhaps the best value on the market.

Customer Reviews:
Battery life ~40 mins for mine.......2007-09-23
I probably got a defective HS850, but its battery life is really short. It needs to be recharged even when off (after about 3 days sitting there it's flat), and the talk time is 40 minutes tops. After what I paid for this when it just came out (August '06), I expected far more from a Motorola product. Sound quality and connectivity to my LG CU500 is fine, though. I wish it had a mute button---I'm replacing the headset, and it's one feature I will be looking for.
Disappointment.......2007-09-21
I was extremely disappointed to find when I purchased this item that it did not work. As soon as I plugged it in to charge it never took the charge, on top of which the seller tells me to return the item ( not offering to pay for the cost of returning it )and they would replace the item, the reply to my initial complaint took 3 days, I wouldn't say I would not recommend the item, but I would not recomment the seller
Motorola HS850 Bluetooth Headset.......2007-09-17
I received a Motorola HS850 Bluetooth Headset a couple day before, but it
did not work at all when i used it first time. Then I request it,but Amazon still did not respond to me.
Not what I expected from Motorola.......2007-09-17
I have to say that this was a big disappointment. This is my first bluetooth headset and if this is the way they all are .. its not for me. It seems to be fine for me and I am able to hear people very clearly but others say that I am very broken up, almost like a bad speaker phone, where parts of the words are missing. I would think twice before purchasing this item due to this problem. I have a brand new phone and had it checked out and they said it was the headset. It might be just defective or maybe this is normal who knows. I will have to try others to be convinced on this bluetooth technology.
Leftover.......2007-09-14
Seems like for the good price, you get the leftover gear. They sent me a left-handed set...which can be switched around, but the buttons are reversed. Also, the battery life is terrible and it just cuts out in the middle of conversations even though the battery still has charge in it...usually just after charging. I think for this price, we're getting the factory rejects.

Amazon.com Hands-On Review
When the Motorola RAZR V3 was launched last year, I think most everybody, including Motorola itself, was quite surprised by how popular the handset turned out to be, considering the asking price. Its slim profile and sleek silver colored metal body proved to be just too much of a temptation for the world, and people the world over jumped through hoops and over hurdles just to get one for their very own. Everybody was a movie star with one of these!
Black is beautiful. |
Until, of course, Motorola gave 50 exclusive RAZR V3 BLK handsets to some real movie stars at the 77th Annual Academy Awards in February, 2005. All of a sudden, the silver RAZR lost some of its shine. But once again, it is time for the masses to rejoice. Motorola is making the RAZR BLK available to all.
Of course it isn't just the color that makes the RAZR V3 BLK such a desirable handset. One reason that people love it so is its size. It weighs only 3.35oz (95g), which is pretty light for a phone that has a largely metal body. At 3.86" x 2.17" x .57" (98mm x 55mm x 14.5mm) in size, it is actually thinner than most candy bar style phones on the market. It can be slipped perfectly into a shirt, suit, or pants pocket, as well as a purse, without being noticed.
There is so much more to the RAZR V3 BLK than its physical being, though. Certainly the primary purpose of any phone must be making phone calls, and in spite of its small stature, the RAZR V3 BLK managed a full 7 hours of talk time in our tests - a very respectable showing. A related bonus is the fact that you can charge the RAZR V3 BLK directly from your computer's USB port with the same type of mini-USB cable that you probably already have for your digital camera. That's one less power adapter to pack in the suitcase. Support for all 4 GSM frequency bands means that the RAZR will work in San Francisco and New York just as well as it will in Paris and London. The handset's internal antenna also proved to be quite capable, offering up very good reception in weak signal areas.
Of course some compromises had to be made to get all of this functionality into such a small package. The keypad, for example, is a very thin metal unit that offers less tactile feedback than most, though it makes up for that somewhat by looking fantastic in the dark, thanks to its cool blue back light. While quite usable, it might take a bit of getting used to. No compromises were made with the main display, though: a nice 2.2" 65k color TFT unit, with 176 x 220 pixel resolution. The external display is also color, though only a 4k CSTN type.
The Motorola RAZR V3 BLK is thin and definitely in. |
The built-in VGA camera proved itself to be one of the better ones on the market, offering good contrast, color, and focus in most situations. The RAZR's polyphonic sound system also works quite well, and even allows you to use MP3 files as ringtones. So if you have a few dollars to spare in your quest for looking like a movie star, Motorola has got just the thing you need. Luckily, the RAZR V3 BLK has the brains to back up the beauty.

Customer Reviews:
motorola razor cell phone.......2007-09-24
This is a great phone. My only criticism is that it can be hard to read the numbers without reading glasses. Easy to use.
Absolutely Reliable and dependable!.......2007-09-13
This phone is more than I expected it to be in all facets. I recommend it for all.
Broken in 10 days.......2007-09-12
I bought the Razr V3 phone because my last phone (Sidekick) had a broken face. Normally, on a phone that has the face on the outside (Sidekick) it can break if you drop it, which happened to me. So I bought the V3 thinking that this wouldn't happen to a flip phone. Well, 10 days after buying it from Amazon, I closed the phone, only to realize when I reopened it that the face had cracked. I couldn't believe that Motorola would make such a flimsy face and charge so much for the phone. When I contacted the seller, they said they had a 10 day return policy and would not give me a new phone. I am now dealing with my insurance company to try and replace the V3. Overall, this has been a lousy experience that I will not repeat.
I needed a unlocked GSM phone........2007-09-07
I purchased over a year ago from Amazon for 279.00. I need an unlocked GSM phone for travel out of the county. It worked fine but it is hard to position on the ear to hear well. Belt clip that came with it broke right away. There are not any good cases for this thing, and I have purchased a few. The blue tooth worked better with it than the actual phone for hearing well. Camera is as bad as everyone says it is. I don't talk alot so I get 3 days on a battery charge. This works well on TMOBILE but when Cingular switched to AT&T the phone sounds like crap most the time to the person on the other end of the phone. I have 2 sim cards and the TMOBILE service is much better! Someone needs to just make a phone ONLY. I carry a good camera and own an Ipod I never use. So I use the phone, just as a phone.
I really like it.......2007-09-04
I bought this RAZR v3 phone in July to go with my 7-Eleven Speak Out Wireless prepaid service. The phone I received from Amazon.com was made for the Hong Kong market, so it came with a outlet plug adapter for U.S. customers. (The AC adapter itself is universal voltage, and the slim paper manual is in English.) The phone is quadband and fully unlocked, so it can be used anywhere in the world.
I really like the RAZR phone. It's very solid and the voice quality is excellent. Speak Out Wireless runs on AT&T and T-Mobile networks so the reception quality can vary, but overall the RAZR does an excellent job in pulling in as much signal as possible. As with other Moto phones, the brightness of the screen can be adjusted, and the ringer type and volume can be easily changed. The metallic keypad takes a little getting used to, but is pretty comfy to use.
The camera is only VGA but takes good-quality pictures when there's plenty of light. Video capture is jerky and limited to 15 seconds, so that's probably the weakest feature for me. Bluetooth linkup to a Sony Ericsson earpiece works fine. Battery life is admirable; I don't use the phone much, maybe just 10 minutes a week, and I need to recharge it once every 8 days or so.
Because I've owned many Moto's before so I like the RAZR's interface, since it feels familiar, but I can understand how it can confuse users new to the Moto scene. Overall, though, I don't think it's harder to use than a Sony or Nokia.
What really impresses me is the build quality of this phone. Nowhere can you find out where this thing is made, but the material and fit and finish are excellent. I'm very happy with this inexpensive purchase.

Customer Reviews:
Lasts longer than the OEM Battery.......2007-09-20
This battery on average lasts a few days longer than the OEM battery that comes with the RAZR V3, which is good. I usually keep the OEM for back up purposes only on the rare chance that this battery runs low on me. I highly recommend this battery if you aren't interested in purchasing the extended life battery, which is bulkier and requires a bigger back to the V3.
motorola razr battery.......2007-09-10
I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE . IMADE A MISTAKE THINKING I WAS SENT THE WRONG BATTERIES. AFTER ALL THE THE MESS ON MY PART ,THE BATTERIES WERE SENT BACK ,AND EVERYTHIHNG IS GOOD.
Not a good buy..........2007-09-04
The first few re-charges were excellent. One full-charge (over-night) lasted 3/4 days. However, after couple weeks, it needs to be re-charged every single day...not a good one. Suspect the other good reviews from people submitted the reviews too early.
Razor Battery.......2007-08-31
I was leary about purchasing the battery because it cost so little. But I called the vendor and asked if it was a new battery and not used or re-conditioned. The vendor assured me it was a new battery. It has performed well so far.
Invalid Battery Error with 1st Battery.......2007-08-28
I received the BR50 and charged it for about 8 hours before trying to use it. Once I started using it there was no problems for about 2 weeks and then I received an Invalid Battery Error for no reason.
I emailed SF Planet and they let me know they would send me a replacement and a shipping label for the bad battery very quickly, but it took about two weeks to receive the replacement. The slow turn-around time of the battery replacement is why they are at 3stars instead of 4stars. I figure anyone can have a product go bad from time to time. Yes, I would use them again, but hopefully they can pick-up their turn-around time.

|
Stylish, with plenty of inspiration from the RAZR.
|
Thin and compact, the KRZR is the next hot phone from Motorola.
|
Design
Reflecting the design language of the super-slim RAZR line of handsets, the KRZR K1 exudes pure luxury with clean lines, precision detailing, and premium materials shrouded within a distinctive metallic gloss front finish. A 1.9-inch color screen on the inside of the flip brings images and videos to life, while a small supplementary color display on the outside cover keeps tabs on your incoming call information, and more. The 2.0-megapixel camera is housed above this display. The KRZR K1 features an internal antenna, so there's nothing to snag or break off, and a MicroSD slot adds ample storage space to store content. Lastly, a mini USB port is provided for data synchronization.
Calling Features
From L.A. to Lisbon, the KRZR K1 connects you effortlessly with friends, family, and your favorite content, thanks to support for all four GSM bands (850, 900, 1800, and 1900). The phone supports speaker independent voice activated dialing, as well as Bluetooth wireless headsets, so you can cut the wires and talk hands-free. A number of ringtones come preloaded on the phone, and more ringtones can be downloaded from AT&T Wireless' MEdia Net service. Polyphonic ringtones are also supported, and there's a speakerphone for those times when you want to talk while doing other things. Picture and ringer IDs allow you to set photos and ringtones to identify incoming callers.
Messaging, Internet and Tools
The KRZR K1 supports all the messaging tools you need, such as MMS, SMS, EMS, and IM messaging capabilities. Plus, EDGE data support means you can surf the wireless Web on the built-in Web browser. There's even a built-in email client so you're always in touch. You can also use the KRZR to hop on AT&T's MEdia Net service, a service which lets you read news headlines, get weather updates, download games and ringtones, and more. And don't forget, with AT&T data service and a data plan (not included) and its Bluetooth or USB data capability, the phone can be used as a wireless modem for laptops and PDAs.
The phone ships with a number of handy tools including an alarm clock, a calculator, a calendar, and a voice recorder. It supports the Sync ML data synchronization standard over Bluetooth or USB.
Imaging and Entertainment
The ultimate all-in one device for extraordinary imaging, the KRZR K1 lets you capture your latest jaunt to Cape Town with its 2.0-megapixel camera that features an 8x zoom, and video capture and playback capabilities. Take your travel soundtracks with you while jetting across the globe with the conveniently integrated MP3 player, airplane mode, and Stereo Bluetooth headset support. Support for Java-based gaming is built into the phone, and games are available for download via the AT&T MEdia Net service.
Vital Statistics
The Motorola KRZR K1 measures 4 x 1.65 x .6 inches and weighs 3.6 ounces. It operates on the GSM 850/900/1800/1900 frequencies. Battery life is rated at 5.83 hours of digital talk time and 300 hours of standby time. The phone comes with a one year limited warranty.
Customer Reviews:
A good phone, with some caveats.......2007-09-24
Pluses:
1. Very impressive battery life (I charge it every second or third day).
2. Excellent camera (mine is just the 1.3 Meg version), but using the auto-enhance editing feature produces very good results. When my wife forgets her digital camera, I just pull out the phone, use the zoom to get in close, and the results are very good. I bought a micro SD card on eBay, and can store as many photos as I could ever want.
3. It works well as an MP3 player. But getting it to sync with my PC was a challenge. I bought the A/V package from Verizon, which included headphones and a CD, but my Dell PC running Windows XP Professional didn't recognize the phone. I had to do a Google search to find a patch for the software. Even with that patch installed, all I could do was charge the phone thru the PC; it still wouldn't let me sync the phone to Windows Media Player version 10. I tried connecting the phone to my daughter's PC which runs XP Home Edition and an older version of Media Player, ran the patch, and finally everything worked. So all I've been able to load on the phone is my daughter's music, but that's been OK so far (I've had the phone since January). Good sound quality, and nothing beats having music with you all the time! The Motorola headphones are only so-so for sound reproduction, so I bought an adapter which lets me connect my regular iPod-style headphones to the KRZR, and they sound great. I've even used my big Bose noice cancelling headphones with it, with good results, though the sound quality is not as good as with a full-sized iPod.
3. The calendar and alarm features work very well.
Minuses:
1. The software problem (noted above) which kept me from syncing my music to the latest version of Windows Media Player
2. The size of text when browsing the Internet suddenly got bigger in about March. It must have been something Motorola did, because I took the phone into a Verizon store, and all their Motorola handsets had the same problem. I was getting only 1 or 2 words per line, which made reading an article very laborious. The text size was definitely smaller in January and February. Anyway, it spoiled the Internet experience for me, and I finally turned off the Internet service - no point wasting $5 per month for something I wouldn't be using.
2. My fingers are long, and I find it hard to hold the phone firmly without accidently pressing the buttons on the side which turn on the speakerphone and the voice activation. I would prefer it if these buttons were on side of the upper part of the flip, out of the way.
Junk phone.......2007-09-16
It hangs so frequently. Needs to be powered off the phone to receive or make calls, when it hangs. Digital Music player doesn't respond. Planning to replace with some other phone.
Hope you like the ringtones on the phone!.......2007-09-13
Verizon's own ringtones will not work with this phone!!! I have tried AC/DC, Metallica, and more, and I cannot get any of them!! When this phone was introduced we all remember the Jimi Hendrix classic used to promote it....."Let Me Stand Next to Your Fire", right? With all that rock and roll hoopla, you would think that Verizon would make a few rock songs available as ringtones, wouldn't you?? HellO!!!!!! What a "come on". I have written this carrier and got ZERO response. Big surprise there. I hate this phone, and it's going to be a loooonnngggg two years for me.
very happy with my krzr.......2007-09-04
i have had several motorola phones and have liked them.i upgraded from a motorola v557 to the krzr.i researched for a couple weeks cell phones :features, carrier, price etc.i looked at many many reviews from actual custumers.i have cingular which is now at&t .so i had to go with a at&t phone .i wanted a cell that was bluetooth ,had voice activated dialing, camera ,speakerphone and had expansion card capability.i liked the krzr which had it all.it easily bonds with both my motorola h 700 and my plantronics vogager 510.i like the handsfree access in the car .the voice dialing works well for most names ;ex call bill.but it gets tripped up with ex ;call yvonne.but thats minor i just say the number.i have not had a single dropped call and the calls are very clear .i have downloaded my own ringtones and wallpapers to personalize the phone, using motorola phone tools software.the camera on the phone works well with 8x zoom .i went to air show recently .i have a great shot of f117 stealth plane thats way cool.i was able to take my sd card and print by photos out.battery life is good.overall i am very pleased with this phone.love the color .i also got a great deal on it at walmart .but there are a few cons:its a finger print magnet easily solved with a case .and the cover to the usb port is flimsy .i too cannot speak to the mp3 player or internet/email capabilities because i don't use those .i have an ipod and a pc for that.
Worst piece of electronic equipment ever.......2007-08-21
This phone is the worst piece of garbage I've ever owned. I've owned 2 in 6 months and I barely even use it. The first one just decided to never turn on again and the second's battery only lasted a month before it no longer holds a charge. Not to mention the complete lock down of the phone from the service provider. To even use 1/2 the functions, you need an SD card.

Bluetooth carrying case.......2007-09-22
Nice case because it makes the bluetooth easier to find in my house and in my purse BUT the only negative thing is that if the case is pressing against something then it causes the bluetooth to turn on and waste its battery when I need it.
Motorola Headset carrying case.......2007-09-21
I love the carrying case. I never lose or misplace my headset anymore. I just clip it to my purse so I always know where it is.
Very Happy.......2007-09-07

Turns on Bluetooth.......2007-09-04
This item does not work well if your Bluetooth is thick and short. (I do not remember the model number of the Bluetooth.)

Motorola Bluetooth Hands Free Speaker Phone.......2007-09-24
In California the law will change July 1, 2008, if you drive with a phone in your hand you will be ticketed. So....I purchased five of these for the attorneys in our office and myself. It works wonderful. Very clear. And of course....hands free. All are thrilled not to drive holding the cell phone.
Works as advertised.......2007-09-19
Works well. I drive in Dallas with my windows open. I am able to hear callers well and it is easy to operate. If the windows are down you can expect some wind noise in the microphone but others are still able to hear me. A needed addition for hands free. Well worth the money.

Disappointed.......2007-09-21
I was very disappointed in this bluetooth. I bought it because it was inexpensive, and figured Motorola is a decent brand. Well, I hated this bluetooth. The biggest complaint is the voice is too low, so it was difficult for people on the other end of the line to hear clearly. Adjusted volume did not help much. I'm now using a Sony Ericsson, which works great.
Great looking product.... average quality.......2007-09-19
After a couple of weeks of using this product, i experienced static and horrible sound quality .At times I had to move into a spot so that the static would subside. Overall, i liked the look of the product but didn't like the quality
Worked great with my Nokia.......2007-09-08
This headset worked great with my Nokia earlier however I recently bought a blackberry and havent been able to hook it up with that...I have tried everything possible to make it work with my blackberry pearl...however it doesnt seem to work...hence 3 stars..
Great headset for the price........2007-09-05
Works great with my Motorola V3T RAZR, great sound quality, others can hear me fine even when not near my phone. My voice dial on my phone reconizes my name dials 99% of the time even when in the car on the highway. And reconizes Digit Dials about 80% of the time in the car and 95% in a quiet room, even if it doesn't get it the first time it is usually only one ot two numbers it missed. Great headset, particularly with my phone, and hasn't dropped once yet and have used it a lot since I have got it. Still figuring out function key, but pretty easy to use.
No clarity with Samsung m300.......2007-09-01
Nice design, easy to use. However, unless I was holding the phone by my head within 1 foot of the headset, the sound was terrible, and all broken up, which was pretty useless. I had to return it.

Motorola Travel Charger.......2007-09-24
This works like it is supposed to. i have a motorola L2 and the plugs seem to be the same on all the new motorola phones. I believe it is a mini USB plug. I called a Cingular store and they wanted $30 for this plug. I thought that was ridiculous and went online to find a better deal.

The seller even sent me a newer version charger SPN5185B, although I did not know what's the difference between version A and version B.

When i bought this charger i was worried because usualy when something is that cheap, it doesn't work. but it works just fine and was exactly what i needed.
