Burning with Fire(Wire).......2002-12-18

I just got this drive and it is smokin' The Firewire as you know gives the 2nd fastest external speed(after (USB2) and is the most tested after SCSI. With no SCSI headaches, and no SCSI premium in price. I had no problem installing the NERO software, and after a few burns I already like it better than EZ-CD creator. It is not as user friendly but is faster to burn time, (maybe thats becasue of the firewire, and not internal but it seems better to me. I don't like the dancing instruments of EZ-CD either. Haven't gotten a coaster yet, (actually only burned about 10 disks, 6 music 4 data) I am about to make a backup of my system going out to the CDRW's. I could go on and on, but this is truley Plug and Play, (no more pray for me). To sum this all up , the drive is small enough to carry with the laptop, and no problem to set-up. Software, not to difficult and it does have wizards. The Price point for the speed is nice ..... Get it and Burn Baby Burn

The SCSI Terminal Server provides from 2 to 32 local serial ports that require no complex network overhead. The ports, which are simple to install and configure, attach externally to the SCSI bus of a Unix or Windows NT system. The RS-232 ports can be used for connecting devices such as terminals, modems, and printers. The Casio SA-400 four-line system telephone with caller ID and speakerphone is designed especially for small business and home office use. Compatible with loop and ordinary home run wiring, this shared-resource phone offers powerful and unique features not found in typical non-key system units (KSU). Supporting up to four lines per phone, Casio's SA-400 system also is expandable up to 12 stations. This model is part of Casio's Executive Series, and can be mixed and matched with other series members to create customized office solutions.

Key among the SA-400's features are its digital speakerphone and robust caller ID. The speakerphone allows for convenient hands-free calling, and the unit's base comes with a built-in headset jack and hook switch (headset not included). Casio's SA-400 features type II call waiting/caller ID (a subscription to these services is required from your telephone service provider). Caller ID information is displayed for all calls, including those on call waiting. When transferring a call, the system forwards caller ID information. Caller ID also stores up to 64 of the most recent calls, which can be dialed at the touch of a button.

Additional features of the SA-400 include a 20-name/number autodial directory, all-station page, auto redial, hold with audible alert, mute, LED line status indicators, station-to-station and automatic intercom options, station ID display, do-not-disturb mode, privacy protection, and power failure protection. I purchased 12 of these units for my office and have had constant trouble with them. The customer service help number is worthless and don't see any option except looking for another phone system. The phones intercoms don't work and the sound quality is poor due to too much background noise picked up through the mouthpiece. Placing the caller on hold and transferring to another phone sometimes locks the phone line. These phones might be fine as stand alone but don't buy for multiple phone setup which they were supposedly designed for.

Look elsewhere.......2004-02-17

I bought this phone 2 years ago and I would recommend you to look elsewhere.

The features are very slow to respond and I keep losing the date and time settings very frequently. Until now, I did not have options for other phones and I stuck to this.

Now, I will buy a 5.8GHz cordless expandable phone system. They have pretty good reviews.

This eyepiece is wonderful. This eyepiece will give just the right amount of magnification and field of view in most eyepieces. It is of high quality and is about the equivalent of a Meade series 4000 plossl. This eyepiece is a must buy for someone who wants a good medium powered eyepiece and will allow good viewing of star clusters, fine detail in galaxies and nebulas. This eyepiece is amazing and you will be glad you have it.
