This dome camera contains state-of-the-art 3-Axis pan, tilt, and twist features including rotational twisting camera optics. This dome camera utilizes a 0.33-inch color Sony super-head CCD (charge-coupled device) image sensor, with 297,000 effective pixels. Constructed with a 2.6 to six-millimeter varifocal auto-iris lens, the Mace CAM61 has an excellent resolution of 480 horizontal TVL (TV lines), and achieves a S/N (signal-to-noise) ratio of 45 dB or better. This unit is good in low-light with a minimum illumination of 0.7 Lux in color, and operates on the NTSC signal format. The CAM61 features a tri-axis lens mount and the ability to pan, tilt, or twist to cover almost any angle in a room. This unit uses a standard video output, runs on 12-volts of DC power, and can operate in temperatures as low as -10 degrees Celsius. The CAM61 comes complete with automatic white balance and backlight compensation, and a built-in automatic electronic shutter with speeds ranging from 1/50 to 1/100,000 of a second.

Lux rating is the measurement used to indicate how sensitive a camera is to light, and stands for the level of light reflected off a piece of paper by a candle from one meter away. Top of the line.......2002-01-03

If you love your music, there is just no better way to go. Denon is the Mercedes of Amps/Receivers. The quality design along with "Discrete Sound" type of functionality make this the best receiver money can buy. I have this hooked up to all my equipment and a full compliment of Infinity speakers (including woofer). It makes watching Matrix or Top Gun like nothing you have ever experienced before.

Beware, your neighbors may get jealous when they hear what this thing can do.

Be careful. It's out of market!.......2001-07-16

We thought we had bought a good prodcut, MultiPASS L6000-Printer/Fax/Scanner, made by a big name (Canon! big enough?) and trustful reputation company. Now, it is time to replace the toner cartridge. But it is locally NOWHERE to be found!!! Although Canon Sales & Accessories Dept. carries it, the price is way much higher than any other e-retailers. What a headache! Next time I will buy a HP one!

This LCD PC Monitor/TV/FM tuner has every thing you need to set up your own little entertainment center.
Hook up your DVD, VCR, satellite, speakers and more, all at the same time.
I read the ratings before buying and despite the low ratings I decided to purchase it anyway.
Amazon.com has a great return policy therefore I had nothing to lose.
I have been using it as a PC monitor mostly, but have hooked it up to my satellite.
It has worked great thus far.

Like the previous reviewers, I had problems with sound and freezing of monitor. My remedy is to use external sound system. Since I have connected VCR/DVD and cable box to my stereo, I no longer use the monitor for audio. I also use my cable box to change channels, so I don't use the remote either except for turning monitor on and off. Another suggestion is not to use wireless network with this monitor or near it. The problem with monitor started when I was using my laptop on wireless network and the monitor froze and I could not turn it off without unplugging it. Because this monitor is designed to be used with a pc, it seems strange that it won't work with a wireless network.

I really like The price also great features. one thing I don't like the monitor freeze up on the tv viewing, when this happen you loss control of the unit you have to shut it off by unplug or if you have a surge breaker power switch. I return the LCD Monitor/Tv for a replace to my surprise the second one had the same problem.

This is my first flat screen TV/monitor. I use it mainly for television viewing and have owned it for almost two months. The price is right, comparatively speaking. The weight and footprint is good. Getting the plugs in for initial set-up is an adventure because of the location of the connections.

The picture is not always sharp and the speakers on my unit give out often. The sound either gets "tinny" or fades out. Worse yet, the remote stops working during the course of using it and to add insult to injury, the only way to turn off the unit is to unplug it. This is infuriating because it happens every day that I use it (this is not my main t.v. so I have other options.) Still it was hard for me to beat the price.

Great all around binoculars.......2005-02-16

I bought these mainly on recommendation from my astronomy professor that I should buy 10x50's for astronomy and for general use like bird watching. I shopped around a lot and tried several other brands including Nikon and some department store brands. Overall I think that these binos had much crisper focus than the others I have tried. My first impression out of the box was that they felt solid and well built. The optic coatings look consistent and they are multi-coated and phase coated even though they aren't advertised on Amazon as phase coated. The size is just right and water proof is a major plus for me.

My first test was during the day, I checked the focus on near objects and found that I could focus on things as close as 10 feet away which is really great for bird watching. I did notice some chromatic aberrations around tree branches against a cloudy sky, but it wasn't too bad. The focus on everything was sharp as a tack! I am very impressed with how sharp they are.

Since I bought these for an astronomy course the true test was at night. I live in a fairly dark area but there are a few cities around. The first object I looked at was the Orion nebula, it was very clear and I could make out at least three stars in the center and could see quite a bit of the nebula. Next I looked at Pleiades, normally I can see only 6 faint stars but through the celestrons I could see hundreds and the 7 sister stars were bright and crisp.

Overall I am very happy with these binoculars. The only reason they got a 4 out of 5 was because the case and main lens covers are quite cheap and don't work well. The second reason is it would be nice if the binoculars had a tripod mount for astronomy. It's tough to hold even 10x50's steady and a tripod would be a great help.
