Awesome present.......2007-05-18

I received this television as a Christmas present last year and have not had a single problem. The picture is crystal clear and all functions work perfectly each and every time I turn it on. The color is a bit bright (however this could be due to my settings) and if you turn the television off with the remote to turn it back on you must also use the remote. (This is a problem for someone who constantly misplaces the remote, such as myself.) Besides those two small problems this product is great and works with ease.

Nice TV but expensive to repair.......2007-02-28

We bought a refurbished model with a 3 month warranty. We kept the TV in a room where it got very little use but we were happy with how it looked and its usability. After 4 months, the volume got stuck on VERY LOUD. Magnavox tech support talked me through but nothing worked. I took it to the service center they recommended. For $85 they soldered some loose connections, gave me a 1-month warranty. I brought it home yesterday and it appears to work now. I will not buy another Magnavox TV or another refurbished product.

well i don't know about anyone else, but iv'e never had a second of trouble with mine. works great every time all the time. computer games look awesome, can switch between tv and computer easily or watch tv in the picture in picture while writing a review on the computer like i am now. totally recommend it. can watch movies on dvd player with the tv speakers or watch them on the computer and use the computer speakers. my computer speaker setup is better so i use that. all around versital and well worth it.

Magnavox service is poor.......2006-11-23

I bought a Magnavox HDTV for our home office as a computer screen and tv, but from the 1st month we had the picture going blank with sound. We'd turn it off for a few seconds, then turn it on again and get picture for 10 minutes. I took it to a service center recommended by Magnavox and paid $50 for them to tell me that they could not find a problem. I brought it home and it worked fine for about 6 months, now there is no picture at all, just sound. Magnavox told me to take it to another service center and they were not willing to help me except to direct me to pay someone else to look at it again. I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND this product because of poor service. Now we have a flat screen radio....Shame on you MAGNAVOX. This deserves no stars.

This thing is great!.......2006-08-25

I purchased this TV on Black Friday in 2005, it was on sale for like $150 at the time at my local target and I was lucky enough to get the very last one the store had!!

This TV is great! The picture is crystal clear and it has all the inputs needed for Hi-Def (I don't use), PC (don't use that jack either) and plain old coax for basic cable (this is my choice!)

The sound on the TV is amazing comapred to my previous 13" tube TV. The entire room is filled and it doesn't sound like the sound is coming from the TV, it sounds like it is coming from the entire side of the room where the TV sits, it really is amazing.

My only complaint, the power button on the TV, you turn it off and you need to turn it back on from the TV, to get the remote to work you must turn it off via remote. Also, the remote itself is cheap, but I didn't buy it for the remote. I bought it for the TV!!

I love it! It was hanging on my wall and it looked great, recently took it down to put it on a bookshelf.

I got mine about a year and some months ago. It was a great TV for the price - while it worked!

I enjoyed the space saver with all its possible connections/functions. I could connect my stereo, DVD player and laptop to it with no problem. Even with all the possibilities of it being used it was hardly used (my wife and I have a very busy schedule outside of home). Then one Friday evening preparing for movie night with my wife (and we have no kids to blame), the thing would not cut on. I tried looking for a site that may offer some technical assistance but to no avail. (By the way, if you know anything about televisions (LCD) or where I can get help please post.) I can't lie, though, I am disappointed but I really miss it. I am still indecisive as to whether to fix it or just get a new one (HELP!)

If you decide to buy be aware that you will enjoy only as long as it lasts.

We purchased this TV for use at trade shows. Excellent portability, nice bright picture, and unlike a lot of other TV's in this size, decent sound. Purchased a cheap 26 inch wheeled suitcase and some foam padding to use as a transport and storage case. Works great!

I was unable to get a picture on this TV. User support was available on the phone, but their conclusion was that this product was defective, and they suggested I investigate the warranty. I sent back to Amazon for a full refund. The transaction ended up being painless, but frustrating.

Great TV - Bad Computer Monitor.......2006-02-25

Works great as tv - poor computer monitor. I ordered this to use as a monitor for my laptop and also as a tv. However, the ONLY computer resolution it can use is 800x600 which on a 19" screen is way too grainy and made my eyes hurt. I discussed with Maganavox tech and admitted it was a problem. I returned and am now shopping for a computer monitor with tv tuner.

Bought this cheap camera for a 4-year-old.......2007-05-06

I was shopping around for a decent CHEAP camera, and found this one.

The auto light settings are perfect for most environments. The flash is almost useless because it's maximum range is 4.9 feet, yet the focus on this camera is good only for objects just over 4 feet away (further is better). The manual says the focus is good from 2 feet, but that's not realistic.

It's small and light-weight, and doesn't eat batteries for breakfast. The pictures taken were definitely better than those taken by $50 and sub-$50 cameras (by a long shot), but about half the quality of a camera costing about twice as much.

That is the sweet spot of this camera. It is a good, cheap camera. You get exactly what you have paid for. If you have used any of the really cheap cameras, this camera will exceed your expectations. If you are used to using $200 digital cameras, you will be disappointed, but what do you expect?
