You can read all of the details in others' reviews: My review will be short and sweet. I've owned this printer for a year, and am very happy with all aspects of the printer with the exception of Ink usage. All of the features work properly, they are easy enough to learn and the print quality and speed are fine. Uses Ink up too fast for my liking.
Decent Printer/Fax, Terrible Scanner.......2006-06-27
I've had this machine for more than a year and use it as a backup for my laser printer, as well as for occasional faxing and scanning. It's fine for printing and faxing, but the scanner is so poorly designed--it's amazing. I teach technology skills for a living, and I find the scan function absolutely baffling to use. So counterintuitive, I suspect that the engineers are somehow playing a joke on Canon and the company has not noticed yet.
Best example: You want to scan multiple pages into one document so you can email the document. Common use, right? With this machine, you need to make a bunch of adjustments to the default settings and then, if you need to use the sheet-feeder (instead of the platen glass, which only suppots letter-size), the function doesn't work at all. Highly irritating. I could have physically walked all of my documents across the city by the time I finished hand-feeding all my double-sided legal documents into the machine. Aargh.
MP 730 OWN TWO AND NEITHER WORKS LESS THAN ONE YEAR.......2005-07-13
I purchased two MP 730 Canon All in One machines at Staples. One about 11 months ago and one 9 months ago. Right now I am sitting here with neither one working. My roommate uses one with her personal computer and i use mine with my computer. They are not at all heavily used and we are the only ones who use them. They are not even used daily sometimes. I liked the unit and so did my roommate. We had both owned Hewlett Packards always before. The Hewlett Packards were still going strong when we replaced them or sold them to buy the Canons. Now I have to take them 1 hour drive to a repair center and they will either fix it or give me someone else's broken one that they fixed if they have one. Canon customer service said they will offer me 10% off of their new model if instead i want to buy two new ones. Yeah right...less than one year ago we spent $650 plus on these machines and more for extended warranty and neither works...i am sure we are going to buy new ones for 10% off. By the way her machine and mine have two different things not working on them. Mine won't take paper and hers has the print head with no power to it.
Excellent multifunction printer!.......2005-06-05
Having had a Canon printer before and loved it, I was anxious to try this one after a couple of years of using a donated HP (which I hated). The Canon is superior in every way to every printer I've ever used. Not only does it print nicely, it makes great copies. The fax and scan functions are relatively easy to use, and most of the functions on the machine are intuitive. Unlike my HP, it operates flawlessly with no vibrating, smearing, grinding noises, or any other problems. I love the fact that you can buy the ink colors separately, and they're very inexpensive. If you're used to shelling out $39 for an HP tri-color cartridge, you'll be happy to pay $7-$8 for each color and $12 for black. I used to hate buying a new tri-color cartridge just because I was out of one color. Canon puts so much more thought into how their products work than other makers seem to. The one thing I do not like about it is that when I am making color copies, if I dally too long between copies (and that's not very long--maybe a couple of minutes), it reverts to black and white without signaling me. I've ruined some expensive photo papers because of that, and I really wish they would correct that feature. I have to remember to check the "Color" button before every color copy (and I tend to forget). Other than that, I couldn't be happier with the Multipass MP730.

I have tried the quality since the last 1 year, Draft/Standard/Photo and there is no comparision...You could remarkably depend on Canon Quality..
We had a problem with one of the paper sensor and the Canon Serivice center immediately took care of it... replaced it with another one and even fixed the original one for me... Awesome...
Its an office machine and you could imagine the amount of stress when an inkjet is being used instead of a laser...But still it has been going strong
The cost of inks are much cheaper than their counterparts (HP, Lexmark) etc...

Panasonic's KX-TR320 sports all of the features you'd expect of an FRS radio in this price range, including the ability to transmit on all 14 FRS channels and on 38 subcodes within each channel. It's also one of the coolest-looking FRS radios we've ever laid eyes on. Unfortunately, the very things that make it look so good also hurt its usability.
This radio runs on three AA batteries or its outlet power via an AC/DC converter (not included). There are also jacks on the top to connect to an external microphone and headset (also not included). All of these jacks are sealed by rubber plugs that fit snugly enough to make this one of the few splashproof FRS radios on the market. The feel of the unit exudes quality, and except for the fragile-looking flip-up antenna, this is one radio that could easily absorb several drops onto cement and come up asking for more.
On the downside, the KX-TR320 has rather small buttons that are difficult to see, let alone press. And they're packed so close together it's easy to press the wrong one. This fault can be turned into an upside, as it's also difficult to inadvertently press a button just by handling the unit, but we found using the KX-TR320 in less than optimal lighting conditions to be a chore.
However, both the sound quality and range of the unit were excellent, and if you have two or more of the radios you can take advantage of the privacy subcodes that only let you hear people using the same subcode (although everyone else on the same channel who isn't using the codes can hear you). We've seen better overall values, but the KX-TR320's rugged construction and rich features really add to its appeal. --T. Byrl Baker

I usually don't rave about a product, but this was too good to be true. I bought 4 of these radios for Christmas. Sometime in Jan. one of my sons lost his radio out in the woods by our house. Today my wife found it while she was out for a run. I pushed the power button and it worked like new. Unbelievable! I'm sure this is not the kind of "field testing" that they had in mind at Panasonic.
