I develop DVDs for my customers and used to purchase DVD case inserts in bulk. Then I tried Memorex's product and was sold on it. They print up nicely (I use a color laser printer). Perhaps the best part of these inserts is that they are consistently well perforated so that they separate very cleanly from the waste trim. The other product I used to use would have to be trimmed to clean up the edge of the paper. You won't be disappointed with this product.

Memorex software good (or bad?) for your neck muscles.......2006-02-20

This product is a sad joke. It's expensive of course. The paper is just heavyweight paper that's perforated so you can bend it and break out the inserts themselves... which takes some effort (not sure if it'd be quicker just getting heavyweight paper and using a paper cutting board). But, whatever.

However, the software is crap. That's the appropriate term. Reading this I can save you an hour of your precious time. No you can't make the template show right-side up. That's right... to use the software you have to TILT YOUR HEAD SIDEWAYS. I'm not kidding! I guess you could also turn your monitor on it's side. You can rotate the text so it shows the way it should. But when you edit it, it'll be sideways again. So you'll have to turn your head (or monitor) back and forth sideways. What kind of company would sell such a product?

And oh yeah... if you're looking for templates for the DVD Inserts? ... nada. They're not there!

EASY AND QUICK.......2006-01-07

I've been using this sofware for all my label burning for about a year. It was free and easy to install and use. Perfect for large or small jobs. If you're looking for custom label making - this is not the software for you. I found a website on line to download FREE movie and gaming labels and they work great with this software. Couldn't be happier!

Software broken, not supported.......2005-12-17

The materials appear to be of a good quality, not that I'd know. The software that comes with it to print hasn't been updated in years, and its the original release. Sure enough, after spending days trying to get it to work at all it was clear the entire purchase was a waste of money. I checked the company's website about the software, and they have no updates in three years, no way of getting support.

I expect programs to have bugs; that's normal. The problem is this company apparently has no intention of either taking customer support requests and hasn't released even a bug patch in years, so the chances of it working on a modern computer with a modern printer is increasingly slim.

These inserts look great and fit perfectly into a standard DVD case. Depending on what kind of printer you use determines the picture quality. I use a pretty good printer and the quality looks pretty darn close to the real thing. 2 thumbs up!

The Best DVD Glossy Insert Package to Be Found.......2006-08-02

A previous reviewer must not have adjusted his printer settings. All papers need different print settings with different printers. I've used this glossy paper for nearly a year with three different Epson models (the CX6600 and an old Color Stylus C80 and Color Stylus 800) with superior results -- given a little tweaking and patience. I just bought a new Canon PIXMA IP4200 which gives the best results on only the Standard setting. The Epsons actually print better on this paper if you choose Matte Heavyweight Paper instead of Glossy Paper for some reason, but having done so, the Epsons still produced sharp photo-quality images.

Further, this Memorex paper has the best pre-cut margins, making it a snap to remove the trimmings (though you should fold them forward and backward beforehand, in which case they nearly fall off by themselves).

Believe me, I'm extremely picky about the appearance of my DVD collection, and I'm satisfied with nothing less than a cover identical to the original in both texture and contrast. The Memorex Glossy DVD Case Inserts are second only to using premium glossy photo paper (which is far too expensive and bit too heavy).

Give this stuff a try. Far better than using Fellowes or Neato matte paper.

Do not work with Epson Inket.......2006-02-22

I ordered these, printed out an image, and it was aweful. The packaging says that is it guaranteed to work with all inkjet printers, but that is hardly true. The colors had splotches in them, and the lines that were supposed to be straight would bleed color. I was printing with an Epson Stylus Photo 785EPX using both the premium photo glossy and photo glossy film settings. I've had no problems with the Fellowes brand, and will be going back. Just thought I would try these to save a couple bucks.

Perfs are VERY consistent, both in position and tear-ability. High quality matte stock, but inkjet colors aren't as bright as on gloss stock. Sure wish they made that!

One of my favorite Panasonic Cordless phones..........2004-08-27

I have bought nothing but Panasonic phones over the last twenty years, and this one does not disappoint. I bought it in Tan/Black/Silver and it looks nice with my other office equipment. The only time I get any kind of distortion is when I'm standing directly in front of the microwave while it's running (a given); otherwise, reception is crystal clear on every single call. I especially appreciate the red light at the top of the handset that blinks during incoming calls and when I have voicemail messages (even though the unit itself does not include an onboard digital recorder). The only drawback I've seen with it is the fact that you cannot use the handset in speakerphone mode while it sits on the base... Other than that, this phone is one of my favorites!

Features you don't normally find in a basic cordless w-Caller ID. I would definately give it 5 stars if priced less. The speakerphone was my biggest sell and works very well (even hour-long conf calls). Selectable ring-tones, last-5#-redial, sharp lcd display, lighted keys, voice enhancer, multiple setup options, etc. Also includes belt clip + simple shoulder rest attachment.

I'm Never Disappointed with a Panasonic Cordless!!.......2003-12-21

I have looked all around to find a good cordless... I recently had a Panasonic and I loved it. Then I got a Motorla which was staticy and wasn't a good phone. I grew up with Panasonic Cordlesses and I bought this one in blue and I love it. I can store all the names I need, I can adjust the ring and its volume. Plus if the phone rings and i cant find it the two red flashing lights make it easier. Even with the lighted keypad and screen it makes dialing much easier in the dark. With the caller ID and Caller ID waiting is really cool. I'm only 11 so if I'm on the phone with my friend and someone calls I can just say "Wait hold on my dad's calling" I have 5 phones in my house 1 is standard and the other 4 are panasonic cordlesses. I give this phone a 5 star reccommedation. If I were you I would buy this phone, You wont be disapponited!

Interference in high-rises.......2003-11-25

I live in a high-rise building, so I have a lot of neighbors in close range. My old 2.4GHz analog phone was getting a lot of static, so I bought this phone with the hope that a 2.4GHz digital phone would perform better. Alas, I get just as much interference (in some cases so much I can't hear the person on the other end of the line) with this phone as I did with my analog phone.

I would not recommend this phone for people in high-rise buildings. Having said that, I'm not sure what cordless phones or cordless phone technology will perform well... perhaps a 5.8GHz DSS.

I like all the features with this phone, LCD displayed, phonebook and handset speakerphone, Ni-MH battery and etc. but except one... the range is awful when your one floor down - the sounds tends loosen up when your a few feet away from the base, also tried relocating the base but no effect. frankly im very dissapointed, Better stick with your old panasonic 900mhz DSS phone.
