best little 35 mm camera.......2003-02-28

This is my second time i have bought this camera. The other camera unfortunately got smashed by a car. I just loved the camera so much i had to buy another one. I have taken some photography courses and some of the pictures i took with my minotla SLR do compare to the freedom zoom ex. It's a great little camera with lots of features that anyone can use. I highly recomend this camera to anyone looking for a good compact 35 mm camera.

This camera has excellent reviews on the internet. However, if the camera is so good how come no one seems to be selling any new ones? I have visited several camera shops & they are not familiar with it & don't carry any in stock. I couldn't find a new one on the internet either. All I could find was a used one & a refurbished one on the internet. What is the deal with these cameras?

I used lot of cameras including Canon Rebel 2000 SLR camera....but i never got the results like Minolta supreme zoom...the best things the results are real good even in night and under bulb light....

The Minolta Freedom Zoom EX is a well designed camera with a significant number of features. Not only are the features numerous, but they are incorporated intelligently into a liquid crystal display that uses simple pictures that are easy to understand and remember. The instruction manual is concise and written with the not-so-expert photographer in mind. It even has sample photos to illustrate its points. Among the camera's more interesting features are the portrait and night portrait modes. Portrait mode will actually properly frame your subject for a well balanced picture. In night portrait mode, the camera will adjust its aperture and exposure length to capture a dark background while firing its flash to illuminate the foreground. I tried it at Disneyland and it works well. The included remote control is a great bonus that allows one to take those holiday pictures without scurrying around. Finally, the zoom is more than adequate for normal picture taking. In fact, while taking pictures at the Grand Canyon I was able to examine the Colorado River from the South Rim! It's also great if you are one of those freaks who likes to take pictures of people's nostrils. I highly recommend this camera to someone who wants a camera that will do a lot of cool things without having to take a course.

I have the CardScan Executive 700, and have used it for about a year. It works great, but I always had a couple of minor issues with the CardScan software v7. Recently purchased the v8 software upgrade, and it work so much better. The scanner just does what it should, and the v8 software works very well.

The CardScan Executive 700 with the v8 software work very well. Most cards in a traditional layout will scan and be recognized. If the color contrast is poor, or the fonts are two flowery, you may have to type in or correct information, but you will have the information and the image of the card (you can scan front and back). The new v8 software adds the ability to replace cards, when you get a newer card from an existing contact. The lookup feature is very fast even with 1500+ contacts, and the synchronization with Outlook just works (once you get it setup).

It's inexpensive but not cheap. VERY easy to use, even remotely. It's amazing that such a good answering machine can cost so little. The remote operation uses voice commands, so you don't even have to remember the codes, just follow the voice.

I used this answering machine to replace my $8 a month voice-mail from the phone company. I have no major complaints from this great product, and it's even a cool looking see-through blue. Very easy to set up and operate, and I was pleasantly surprised that accessing messages remotely is as easy as with voice-mail. Very intuitive voice-prompted instructions on how to skip, delete, or save messages. Price cannot be beat if you ask me.

One of the reasons I like this one is that it allows callers to leave messages of up to 2 minutes (pretty sure), I hate those ones that cut people off after 30 seconds or so. 18 minutes of total recorded time for all messages.

If the item says out of stock, you may want to wait a couple of days and try again, that's what happened to me...a few days later it was available within 24 hours.

This machine is very handy. It has time and day stamp and is easily operable. The remote operation also works really well. It is pretty simple but it gets the job done. I don't need much, and this did the trick.

I don't know where to begin. About a month ago the answering machine that I originally owned broke. I had to look for a new one but I didn't have a that much money in my pocket to put into an answering machine. ... you are getting a well built, digital, and very nice looking answering machine. Setting the machine up took me about 8 minutes. All I had to do to record my message was push the "record" button and its that simple! The answering machine has 18 minutes of digital recording time. It also stamps each and every message with the time and date that the message was left. My favorite feature on this machine is that I can call it when I'm away from my house, enter a 3 digit numeric code, and get all of my messages no matter where I am! The machine also allows you to put a 9 volt battery inside of it so in case your power goes out you won't loose anything. You can also screen all of your calls and when you pick the phone up the machine stops recording. The one thing about this machine that I really like though is that it gives you the option of having the machine make a ringing noise when someone calls. My phone didn't come with a ringer on/off button so I unplug it at night. But if someone calls, I can adjust the volume of the ring on the machine so that I still know when someone is calling and the ring isn't loud enough to startle me. Bottom line, if you're looking for an excellent answering machine that is easy to use, easy to setup, and sleek looking then you have to get this!

Neither one of the two decks I bought would work at all. I had bought an earlier version of the Daewoo deck a few months ago, which work ok, but these wouldnt even turn on after charging all night long. Returned both of them for a refund.

This looked like a good thing. Tape player, dvd player, use it in you car with tape hookup, rechargeable batteries. The instructions are not very clear, had to look for english. Switching from on to charge is a bit confusing. If you don't do it exactly right, the batteries don't charge. The tape connection for the car system does not work at all, which is why I bought it. It is hard to change a disk with one hand too! The sound is good but not alot of volume with headphones.
