A great all region player.......2004-09-09

I have had this player for a few weeks now, and I have no major complaints about it at all. It is region free and converts from Pal to ntsc and visa versa. It has cool features like volume control through the dvd player, you can eject a disk with the remote, and mute w/ the dvd remote. My only gripe is that the remote has no power button. You have to turn the power off at the unit. Not a big, deal, but minorly irritating. Good player, I strongly recommend it.

I Like the player, and yes it is as region free as they say. However, the player will intermittantly loose all color in the picture and go to black and white. The only way to get the color back is to "cold boot" (turn off the player and turn back on) the entire unit. Heat, time nor region seem to be factors in this intermittant problem. Happens about once a week when played for 2-6 hrs a day but has occured after being off for days and when on for 5 min...even sometimes happens repeatedly in the same day or immediately after cold-booting...

Why do I still like it? The price and multi use!!

Good wifi printer.......2006-06-26

I'm pretty happy with this printer. Setup was fairly easy, printing is fast, and the (extra) double-sided printing feature works well. Double-sided printing could be faster but the rest of the printer works great. I can't vouch for photo printing on it as I've only printed written documents on standard paper.

An excellent Suit-Jacket Pen.......2002-09-30

Although I wouldn't want to write my thesis with it (too Fat--your hand would get cramped after about two pages)this is a pretty decent pen and an acceptible laser-pointer. Great to carry in your suit jacket for your daily needs.

Excellent Laser Pointer.......2002-02-06

If you are a first time buyer for laser pointers, this is the one to get. Its range is amazing, 1500 ft. It also comes with a built in ball point pen, which I find very useful. If you don't need the pen, simply screw it right off.(but it can get kind of complicated some times). One of the bad things about is that it doesn't work to well outside when the sun is out. It makes up for it by working extremly well indoors. The matching rosewood case is very convienent. Inside the case there is a extra little thing of ink and three batteries. If you want to get a well working laser pointer at a acceptable price, than get the Clearline CL2016.

Great value.. do the job they are designed to do. If you're looking for a high-fidelity great sounding pair of headphones these are NOT it... however if you want to hear the movie on a plane or listen to your iPod over the drowning engine noise these are super! Better than the Sony open-ear and the Altec Lansing ones that I had because there is no external pack- battery goes right in the headset.

As for the review below about them breaking, did you not see that they have a "Lifetime Warranty"? I actually broke a pair on a plane and sent them to Earhugger and they were replaced with a new pair. I've gotten my $30 bucks worth several times over and can't be happier!

Great Value for the money.......2006-12-06

I compared with the Sony MDR NC5 ($50.). Earhuggers does a much better job at noise canceling. Due to an ear condition (if I'm on a plane too long, my ears start 'ringing'), I must have noise canceling headphones. I travel to Europe twice a year, and these are fairly comfortable even for a 9 hour flight. But more importantly, the noice cancellation is effective enough to protect by ear drums. Over the ear styles would be better, but I haven't found anything for less than $125, in this style. Structurally, they are a bit flimsy. After one year of use a strap broke. However, for the $30 - $40 price, I'm still going to buy another one.

Very comfortable.
The extra band at the top keeps the headphones from shifting around or falling off. My head is small, and I was able to adjust them just right.
Does a great job of cancelling out engine noise. I used them on a 9 hr. flight. Didn't help much with the fussy baby behind me, though.
Fold up compactly.
If you turn on the noise cancelling feature and just listen, you hear very little hiss (unlike some other brands.)
I really like the volume adjuster so you don't have to mess with your input source.

Bad quality. Broken in 4 months. .......2005-01-25

I lost my Sony MDR NC5 after having it for 15 months. I found this model on the web with good reviews about it. I thought I would give it a try. Sound quality was not as good as the Sony. But hey, it was cheaper. I could not complain. However, after using it for only 2 months, the plastic wire covering started tearing off at the bottom of both ear pieces, exposing the wire. I have been very careful not to pull the wire because I need the headphone on the noisy bus every weekday. Two more months later it stopped working. I am going back to Sony.

I was originally looking for wireless headphones when I started reading the reviews about them here at AMAZON.COM. I wanted to be able to just put the headphones on and walk around the house free. Reading the reviews, I seen that wireless headphones are not that simple. I advise buyers to read reviews about products to make a sound decision for your money instead of using the "higher price the better, cost analysis". So I decided that I would try the new noise-canceling technology instead. I read the reviews and tried the EARHUGGERS for the price. When I got the headphones I pulled out one of my CLASSIC SOUL CD's and listened through the headphones without the battery. The music sounded good, heard the traffic coming through the window. Then I put the enclosed battery into the headset. Like magic, there was no traffic noise. To me it was sort of scary, but the magic of technology can be very scary. BOSE invented this technology and they want over $300 for their headset. Thanks to the Chinese,
we can get it for under $30. I like these headphones and YOU will too! I may buy another set of noise-cancelers to have one for travel and another for home. Again, read product reviews to help you make a sound decision on the BEST PRODUCT to buy, for the amount of money that you want to spend.
