Less than a month after the purchase, the base-unit button for retrieving the message stops working. Manufacturer's technical/customer support is practically non-existent. The limited 1 yr warranty provides only a replacement with a refurbished (NOT NEW!) product, and only if the customer mails the phone to their TX center, at own expense. Panasonic, shame on you!!!
Better than expected.......2007-09-16
I've been using this for a week now, and really like this phone. Good quality and the answer works very good. I have had bad luck in the past with voice quality in the recordings with other memory based answering systems. I really like the feature that lets each phone play the message being recorded while they are leaving it, so I can be across the house and don't need to run to the other side to determine if I need to pick up or not. Only Con on this is the poor wall mount configuration. My wall mount is fairly high but my wife says she can't see the buttons on the base if I put it there. I am 6'5" and its fine for me, but she is right. If you plan on wall mounting the base its probably not the best setup. And it looks pretty funny when you mount it too.

The best cordless phone set that we have ever had. Voice quality is very good. Phone book is easy. I probably should have given it 5 stars except that the range is not as far as I would like. We have an old 2-story house and have the base at one end downstairs. If you are talking at the other end of the house upstairs, you have a 50/50 chance of being able to converse.

The Panasonic KX-TG1032S cordless telephone delivered on all the advertised promises. The real "proof of the pudding," sound quality, is exceptionally crisp and clear. Interference from a microwave was a factor in the cordless phone it replaced, but not with this unit. I would like to second the previous comments about ease of set-up and operation; I don't know how you could make it any easier. The feature that automatically replicates changes to one handset in the other is appreciated. I have yet to purchase any Panasonic product that wasn't first rate. Ignor the "good deals" on all those non-DECT phones that are presently being dumped by retailers and buy this outfit! You won't be disappointed.

I have wasted more money on cordless phones and was at the end of my rope. I researched them on Amazon and came across this set. Well, it's everything everyone said it would be. My biggest complaint with all the others was the inability to hear anybody. Everyone in my family complained about it. This set is awesome! Everything is crisp and clear...and loud enough. It was an added bonus that the thing says the caller ID name out loud when it rings. I haven't even begun to set up any other features yet...I will eventually. But I'm ecstatic that we can finally hear our callers now!

I recently purchased this phone after having a 900 MHz phone. As a disabled person it is important that I have reliable communication devices. This phone has beaten my expectations. The clarity is excellent and loud enough so there is no loss of understanding the other party. I also love the fact that you can enter phone numbers in the phone book on one handset and then easily transmit them to the other handsets so you do not have to enter it multiple times. I also like the feature of being able to check messages from the remote handsets. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone looking to replace their present sets. 5.8 MHz is an excellent frequency which is high enough to reject all noises and I live in a high noise area between 4 major highways in central New Jersey. I have one handset on the first floor and the base on the second floor.

I am very happy with these phones! The intercom function is very handy, and my 12 year old daughter LOVES the speakerphone! My only complaint is that you can't turn the ringer off on the base. I can turn the ringer off on both handsets, but the base still rings out loud.

I am pleased with this phone system. It is easy to use and the sound quality is good. The "talking caller ID" feature is really a lot more useful than I expected. The only problem is that all inbound calls show up as "missed calls" even if you answer them. Other than that, the phone system works very well. Also, it is well priced when compared to other similar systems.

This headset is OK for the price. The loudspeaker part is fine, but the microphone is only OK, so my voice is soft and sounds a little different (but still understandable) for the person on the other end. If you want a better headset, I suggest paying a little more and getting the Plantronics M175. I have both of these headsets, and I think the M175 is worth the extra cost.

I buy one or two of these Panasonic KX-TCA60's a year, since I tend to roll over cords and otherwise abuse my headsets. I've used them in a variety of cordless phones, and they're better than some headsets I've paid way more for, including my $39 Plantronics headset (which can't even match the volume or sound quality of this cheapo set).

I got these cute little things in desperation after having a set of Bose TriPort earbuds for almost a year and losing the rubber tips again and again. I swore I wouldn't use them anymore.
I've had these for a couple of months and simply love them. They fit perfectly in my ear and it's much, much more difficult the get the rubber tips off.
The real kicker is the sound quality. The full spectrum is audible, and the fact that the rubber tips seal inside your ear provides a certain measure of noise isolation (not cancellation, of course, but isolation). This makes a big difference in hearing both musical resonance and depth of voices in the spoken word.
Don't hesitate - they're a steal for the price, quality, and peace of mind.

I've had the JBuds for nearly a year now, and they've held up well. I would say that the noise reduction is decent, but not as significant as with my battery-powered Sony MDR-NC6. Very comfortable and good quality manufacturing.

These are amazing. Forget the price tag (which itself is a bargain), these ear buds sound really good. I did a side-by-side comparisons with Apple (in-box), Creative (in-box), Phillips noise reduction and Sennheiser PXC 250 noise reduction and I could not believe that JBuds sounded better! The ambient noise blocking is pretty good too. However, I am not sure how well it will work in a plane. The in-ear fit is pretty comfortable. Although no audiophile, I am pretty fussy about my sound quality. JBuds definitely made me happy.

Great WiFi-Friendly Cordless Phone System.......2007-09-22
I bought this set of cordless phones for my home primarily because they work on the 5.8 GHz spectrum. The previous generation of cordless phones work on the 2.4 GHz spectrum, which is shared with WiFi computer networks and other devices. Using this phone system, or any other that works on 5.8 GHz, will significantly improve the quality of your voice calls and cut down on interference with WiFi network and other devices. I've got this phone system based right next to my cable-modem and wireless access-point. The additional extension is located in another room. This makes the location of the cable-modem less important.
This phone works similarly to other Panasonic cordless phones I've used in the past. I like that the phone system is expandable to 4 phones. I'll probably buy another extension soon. I also like that the phone book and date/time are synchronized across all extensions automatically (the phonebook is synchronized with a few button presses). This system works well with the voicemail service provided by Comcast, my phone service provider. The light on the handset flashes when there are new voicemail messages.
This phone is everything I was hoping for. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially those with WiFi networks and a voicemail service provided by their phone service provider.
I Have Always Liked Panasonic.......2007-09-10
We had a remote Panasonic phone that was over 20 years old with no problems. The battery was getting weak, and we needed a phone that would have caller ID options. Since I could trust Panasonic I checked all the reviews and found confirmation to my opinions, so we decided to purchase the Cordless with 2 Handsets. It has a nice ring, and voicemail settings are helpful. You can find cheaper cordless phones, but they will not be durable and dependable for the long haul.

I have owned many cordless phones and disliked them all for one reason or another, until I got the Panasonic KX-TG6022B. Two phones and chargers, excellent sound, great battery life, ability to share phone books between the units (!), stands up vertically on its own, speaker phone really works well, well-lit LCD screen, ability to set different colors of the LED indicator, caller-ID shows your phone list name when there's a match, long-range operation. Bye Bye Kodak..........2007-09-22
I bought this as part of the lighting deal they had about a week back. I wanted something cheap that could stand going out and having fun. I had a Kodak 6.1MP that was fine but it lacked the image stabilization I needed (If you breathed you would lose the picture). I got my camera.... and it kicks the arse of my Kodak (even though at retail time it was about $200 more...go figure...).
For one, my Kodak had 3X optical zoom then another digital zoom. This camera can do the same thing, but the picture is crystal clear in digital, kind of rare. The colors, esp. on "Vivid" are wonderful.
The only downside is the controls aren't what I'm used to, but that's only because I am coming off the Kodak. It's actually a really snappy camera that doesn't have much in the way of time delay and really does know what's going on as you take your picture. The high angle, back light compensation, as well as preset situations that make more sense than some of the ones on my easyshare, helped me to make the decision to pass my old camera on and keep this one for everything, not just the quick fun going out moments.
You will love this camera. It's not the Rebel or a Nikon, but for everyday use that you can throw in a bag and go, I couldn't ask for more. Don't think the quality relates to the price: It's not just a good value, it's a GREAT value.

I really like this camera a lot, it's small and compact, if you use panasonic rechargeables batteries you can take pictures for hours without having to turn off between takes, the size of the lcd screen is the rigth one, it's very easy to use and shoots nice videos too.

Best Small Camera for the Money.......2007-08-26
I bought this as a second camera. For travel, I use a digital with a 10X zoom. It's great for trips, but it's a bit bulky, for family gatherings or formal events (when I am carrying a small purse.)
So I wanted a pocket sized camera, but since it is my second, I did not want to spend a lot. I looked around in stores and on line and quickly settled on this model. Why? It is nice and small and has all of the features I need. A 3X zoom is fine for the events I mentioned and at 7.2MP, the picture quality is excellent. It is also the only camera I found in this price range that had anti-shake technology. It has many options for flash, as well as a variety of shooting modes (like sunset, macro, portrait, sports and so on.) There are thinner cameras on the market, but at about 1.2 inches, it's still nice, small and lightweight.
It also used AA batteries. I will only buy cameras that take AA's, because you can get them anywhere, if you run out.
It has a couple of negatives. There is no sound in video mode. This is of no importance to me, but should be mentioned for other buyers. There is a nice LCD screen but no viewfinder. I'm an old photographer who is used to a viewfinder, so this takes getting used to.
On the whole it's a great camera that suits my needs well.
small, competent camera.......2007-08-25
This little Panasonic camera, (Lumix DMC-LS70S, what a stupid name for a camera, eh?) is, nonetheless, a decent-little picture-taker.
Thought it was "eating" batteries, but discovered I'd put in some old rechargeables; when I installed decent batteries, it was fine (NiMH rechargeables, of course--the only choice for digital cameras IMHO).
Thought I'd miss the lack of "regular" viewfinder (it's only got the LCD screen), but I haven't, so-far. Easy enough to see, unless in really bright light. Not a problem.
Snapshots on vacation turned out okay, nothing dramatic. I did some test shots, comparing this little camera (it's small, really teeny) to my trusty Canon PowerShot A550, and surprise! The pictures from this Panasonic were every-bit as good as the ones with my Canon (same subject, same lighting). I was honestly surprised, but the pictures don't lie.
It's a decent-little camera. Takes good pictures, which is the whole point, right?
p.s.- It is easier to take low-light pictures (without flash) with this Panasonic than any other digital camera I've owned--and, they come out better, too. Image stabilization, I suppose, is why. Whatever, it works well. My wife took some family snapshots with this camera, indoors, without flash, and they looked really good. Go figure.

The DMC-FZ8 features the 12x Leica DC Vario-Elmarit lens that packs the same zoom power as a big, clunky 400 mm-class film camera lens. This 12x optical zoom lens is super-bright at f/2.8 to f/3.3 with a focal length of 6 to 72 mm. Rotate the lever a small amount for slow zooming, and a larger amount for high-speed zooming. This makes it easy to zoom in and out quickly when you need to or to slow down for finer zooming control. Zoom Resume stores your zoom position (magnification) in memory, so you can shoot with the same zoom setting once the power is turned on again. This helps make sure you don't miss those great shooting opportunities. A lot of features and support raw........2007-09-22
Bought this FZ8 base on Leica lens, able to take picture under raw format, bundle with SILKYPIX editing software and including lens hood/hood adaptor. I am very please the overall results of the camera and it offer full manual mode and 20 combinations under scene mode. Be aware when taking picture under raw format, it takes a while to recording and burst mode won't sopport raw at all. SILKYPIX sofeware able to offer most the needs to get your editing job done and it's free. For a little under $300 with a 2GB SD 120x card and all the features it's a real deal.
Best choice of camera ever.......2007-09-22
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8K is absolutely the best camera I have owned. I spent three days and nights on the internet before going on a vacation determined to find a camera to take with me - not exactly a brainy idea. I took it on the airplane, learned to use it while getting to Tampa, and it was truly the best I could have chosen. With its Leica lens, 12 optical zoom, and ease of handling (yes, it is also lightweight), the pictures are exceptional. Plus the price was under $300. so I could not lose. I got great shots through the glass at the Florida aquarium, and instant shots of my husband throwing bread up in the air for seagulls to catch - something one might not see, but they showed up great. I cannot recommend it highly enough for someone who wants to have fun, is not yet into bracketing, and is willing to experiment with all the many features!

I had heard about the Lumex range from friends , but had never tried out one. I found good reviews for this camera , on the net and via friends.
When i got the camera delivered , looking at the box , i thought its going to be a big camera (i really dint want a big one, its too troublesome to carry). I was surprised seeing the camera, its not at all big. Its ultra light , and fits my hand right. The 12x zoom is cool , but when i zoom full , I found the hand shake becomes quite a lot , and difficult to click photos. Although the image stabilizer works well ... but i would rarely use 12x , probably 8x - 10x works all right for me.
I have not tried out the thousands of setting options on the camera. I find it too technical. I have clicked a few hundred photos with this camera on automatic mode. I just set the camera on Auto and let it figure out the other details. The photos come excellent, thanks to the exceptionally good lens on the camera. The color depth and clarity on the photos is very good.
I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants a trouble free camera , who wants good photos without caring about the complex settings ... and I would certainly encourage the professionals to give this a try since it has sooooo many setting options.
Panasonic DMC-FZ8K - Great Camera.......2007-09-19
I purchased this camera back in July 2007 and have had it for about 2 months now. The previous camera I used was a Sony DSC-W5. I was looking for a camera with a zoom greater than 3x and an image stablizer. I reviewed and tested several cameras and finally decided on the DMC-FZ8K.
I am very happy with the camera. It takes great pictures, especially outdoors, and the 12x zoom is fantastic. I've had a few problems with indoor pictures being a little blurry but no more so than the Sony I had. The problem seems to be worse when the room is dark and the flash isn't used.
A few weeks ago my son & I went caving. I took the camera and took about 50+ pictures. In spite of the pitch-black darkness the pictures turn out quiet good.
The videos are great--much better than those I took with the Sony W5. The bad thing is that they are .MOV and can't be read directly into Movie Maker without converting. A 2gig memory chip will hold about 20-25 minutes of video.

After reading mediocre reviews about HD DVD players, I decided to go with the up-converting player. I'm happy with my decision. The DVD movies I play have a clear and bright picture and good sound. I think the OPPO DV-970HD Up-Converting Universal DVD Player was a wise choice.

This DVD player performs very well. All DVDs play smoothly, without any problems, even rented DVDs that may not be cleanest. The only minor annoyance is that there is a slight delay before the tray will open when the machine is first turned on. The impatient user may have to push the eject button a couple of times before the tray opens. But that's a very minor annoyance, and something most people won't even notice.

So far I love it. It really does make my standard DVDs look fantastic. It doesn't seem to make as big of an improvement on newer movies as it does on older ones. I hope it is reliable, because this DVD player will keep from buying an HD-DVD or a Blu Ray player for quite some time.

I gave the product 4 stars because when it gets here it works great . It is exactly what I need . I work from home doing customer service calls , so this unit has the mute button you push when you need it , not the kind that you have to click off and on . My only reason not giving it 5 stars is that they dont last long , but I believe you get what ya pay for . The price has gone down . I am on my 4th pair . If they made anoth set that was more durable with the same features I would buy it , but to date I havent found one . As far as all the other stuff like the shipping , no problems at all . I have been a very lucky customer with Amazon ( knock on wood )

The KX-TCA92 is a great headset for the price. We are headset people and really put these thing to good use. This baby does the job of the higher priced models in the $119 range such as volume controls and mute. I love the way the set folds up for storage in a drawer. Its light on the head yet tough on wear and comfortable on the ear. The mic extension fits near the mouth and everyone can hear me very well. A+

This headset is by far the best wired headset I have ever purchased and owned. I have been using 2 of these for the past few years and when my local retailer had no stock I bought a different brand. My wife and I use headsets extensively and the alternate brand just didn't do it for us. When I saw that Amazon had them I bought 3 sets. 2 for immediate addition to the 2 we still use and one for a back-up. Summary: We love this headset!
Comfortable Fit, Clear Sound, but Very Low Output.......2007-08-06
I purchased this telephone headset for my wife, to use with our Panasonic 5.8 GHz cordless telephone system. We have had it now for several weeks and our opinion of this device is a bit mixed. The headset fits well and is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The incoming sound (through the ear speaker) is very clear and has great tonal quality. Our only complaint is that the microphone output is quite low. People on the other end of our calls can barely hear us at times. We thought maybe we had a defective headset so we purchased another one. The results were the same. We have even replaced our Panasonic telephone system, since we purhcased this headset, with another Panasonic model. People still complain that they can barely hear us when talking with us while we are using the heaset. I would have thought that Panasonic would have done a better job at matching their headset with their phone systems. Either that or they need to provide a variable output control for their headsets, to allow for more powerful outgoing volume from the microphone. Hopefully Panasonic will consider adding this feature on their future headsets.
Beware of terrible mute button.......2007-08-04
I had only read a few of the reviews here (shame on me!), so I didn't realize that this headset's mute button has to be held down constantly for mute. That basically makes the mute button useless.
In addition, the sound quality was not particularly good. The other person could not hear me very well. I could hear them about average.
On the plus side, the folding parts "click" open (unlike some others I've had) so the headset doesn't crumple as soon as you take it off. Also the headset is reasonably comfortable. But it doesn't fold up very small.

Not a "Satisfied Customer" this time. I would be reviewing the phone right now, but unfortunately I still do not have it. I signed up for the trial of Amazon Prime so that I could get the free 2 day shippping. I come to find out that evan though they state two day shipping, it is actually 3 day select. Even Worse, UPS has screwed up and 5 days later I still do not have the phone. Because UPS wont deliver on Saturday, I have to wait another 2 days to get it. I usually have a good experience with Amazon, but not this time.
