$39.99 new, but why, amazon has sony or sandisk 2GB for around $33.00 and has 16 times the storage. wich one do you want. if you can get this used for $5 and you ONLY use it for pictures or mabey 2 hours of MP3 music then I guess its not so bad.

This memory card was very useful for what you are using it for, but it could be better. I know you get what you pay for, but the card doesn't have quite enough memory for most stuff. Don't get me wrong, you could buy other memory cards (which will be more expensive) with more memory on them. So if you want a cheap, affordable card, that will get the job done, then you will be very pleased with this!

35 Bucks for this? Don't bother; immediately upgrade to 512 MB or 1 GB, which are ideal for video, image, and music storage on the PSP.

Great Memory Photos.......2007-08-09

This is the second Pandigital Photo Frame I purchased through Amazon. My son had purchased one for my 92 year old mother who is in a nursing home. I scanned a lot of her old pictures and put them on a memory card - 867 pictures she can watch. The frame really brings out the details in these old photos even though some of them were in bad shape. Also brings out old colors - liked it so much, bought one for my wife and my daughter on their birthdays

Worst images possible.......2007-08-06

Don't even think about purchasing this product. Images are terribly poor on this frame. I have never seen digital images look this bad on any screen, even on the worst monitors. I received it as a gift and I'm going to leave it in the box.

Unreliable and Strange Aspect ratio.......2007-07-11

This product has potential if you can find the best resampling/cropping method and it doesn't start displaying snow after 1 days use.

The strange aspect ratio of 480x234 wouldn't be too hard to compensate for if not for the non square pixels. The pixel aspect ratio is not specified anywhere so I was left trying to figure it out myself. A picture that displays normally at 480x234 on your computer monitor will appear stretched vertically on the photo frame. The internal resampling routine leaves a lot of pixelation so resampling your pictures to the proper size and aspect ratio is a must (irfanview and gimp are awesome free choices). I was begining to hone in on the optimal resizing method when the frame broke (within 24hrs). It started displaying fuzzy moving scanlines as if watching a tv while someone is blending up a good margarita.

I want to like this frame but in the end I really wish I had purchased from a more reliable manufacturer. An extra $100 for a higher resolution frame is absolutely worth it.

Sometimes cheap gadgets are an awesome buy, this one however is just cheap. That being said I wouldn't be surprised if Pandigital comes out with a good frame within the next few product cycles. The design aside from the above complaints is very user friendly.

Was given the Pandigital Photo Frame for Christmas and I love it. I then purchased one several months later to make as a gift but it was not Pandigital and it had to be returned. I have now purchased two of the Pandigital 7 inch frames as gifts and love them. I found that this brand has a control on the remote that allows you to adjust color and contrast which most other frames in the same price range did not have. Thumbs Up!

Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.

The Lexar Media 128MB Translucent Memory Stick, like most 128MB cards, will store on average 142 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 106 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 64 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 51 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 40 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.

I truly hope this review was helpful to you in determining whether this card is the right capacity for your specific needs.

Twinkles and is compatable.......2003-09-05

Other reviewers have commented on lack of compatablity with some memory readers. My family has two different Sony digital cammeras and three different (none of them Sony) memory stick readers. I have had no problem with any of the devices I use this memory stick with.

The blinking light is a nice feature for when using the stick readers.

In my experence the Lexar sticks have no functional difference (other than the blinking light) from the Sony sticks. The major difference seems to be the price. Lexar is typically cheaper.

Big Problems with LEXAR 128 mb memory sticks.......2003-05-06

I bought two of the translucent purple sticks. They worked fine in my camera and recorded beautiful images. I travel alot so took the sticks to a photo shop to burn to a CD. The shop was unable to read any of the files. Then when I returned home I tried to transfer the images to my computer. The files were corrupted and I could not open them. Now, I have two sony memory sticks also. I had no problem with either of them. I do not know what the problem with the Lexar media is but it gets worse. Now I can not even view the photo on my camera. I get a message saying "Format Error". The computer and the camera recognize the photo files but are unable to open them. I am heart sick to have lost so many memories. ...

Standard quality but LED waste power.......2003-05-02

Hi,
I have a Sony DSC-P71 Cybershot that I use with this memory stick. The memory stick has a LED that light's when it writes. But when it is inside the Cybershot you can't see it. And the Cybershot has it's own LED anyway. So I think this memory stick is wasting batery life.

I purchased the Lexar memory stick for my Sony Vaio PC. I also purchased a Sony PCMCIA Memory Stick Adapter (MSAC-PC2) for my IBM Thinkpad 600E. The adapter worked fine, was recognized instantly by XP, and now I can transfer large amounts of data back and forth among my laptop and my home PC without any problem.

I bought it to use in a Sony H-2 Digital camera. It works great, but you do need the adapter to put the memory card in the slot of your computer to edit/send/transfer pictures. That is not a problem with the card, as it is the size that the camera calls for.

My sister inlaw purchased her first digital camera and the memory card which came with the camera was very small so she became very disappointed with the camera. She had absolutely no knowledge at all on the operation of the camera with the exception of just push the button. Since she had no knowledge of the camera she was unable to even set the camera up so I purchased this larger memory stick for her and proceeded to give her some instructions. With everything set in the automatic mode she won't have any problems and can just keep pushing the button. Now she is very happy to have a much larger memory stick.

I had slight confusion whether to choose the sony 64 MB memory stick, which is nearly the same price or this one, which has twice the memory capacity of the previous one. I choose this one for the better deal and to add to my surprise J&R Electronics shipped it so quickly(You guys Rock!!!). This one comes par with sony memory media in every field. So why choose the one with lesser memory capacity. Choose this one and feed your camera with some memory space!

Quiero resaltar un hecho importante. No hay ninguna diferencia con las SONY. Poseo ambas, la sony de 128MB y la Lexar de 128MB (la cual adquirí a mitad de precio en una oferta de amazon) y no existe ninguna diferencia de funcionamiento entre ambas. Sin embargo creo que la diferencia de precios entre la sony original y la lexar no es significativa ($3 o $4) por lo que yo me voy por la sony. Espero sea de ayuda. (En español es mejor!!).

I've been using Lexar sticks for over a year with
a Sony digital camera. I've never had a problem with
a stick going bad, nor have I ever lost a single photo.

Although I crossed my t's and dotted my i's and sent
the rebate form in weeks before the 'must be received
by' date, the envelope was returned unopened, stamped
PROGRAM CLOSED. Not nice.

I mean the selling price...forget about the rebate from Lexar. I will get mine when pigs fly.

I haven't seen any compatible issue between Lexar/Sandisk and Sony brands. Now there is a new format called Memory Stick Pro that are compatible with the old format. Other than this, I can't figure out how it could be incompatible among brands.
