Great, fast, reliable printer, but HP will not be releasing Vista drivers, so you're SOL if you buy a new computer.

Used HP 6122 Color Printer.......2007-03-10

Although one always takes a chance on buying refurbished or reconditioned equipment, the HP6122 I received was in excellent condition and works properly. This is an item that is no longer manufactured and I wanted a back-up for my present HP6122 printer. The delivered price was reasonable.

Duplex Printing is great.......2006-12-26

I've had this printer for over 3 years and although the "all in one printers" and network printers is all the fashion it does do duplex printing and no longer can you get a duplex printer for this price so it is a deal for that. As for as cost per page, etc. typical HP...sell you the razor and charge you an arm and a leg for the "blades." Look at what they protect in the computer shops not the printers but the ink cartridges. So the 6122 is about average on ink consumption. I now use it with a Mac Pro and works fine in this new OS. If you need or like duplex printer can't find a more inexpensive printer to print automatically on both sides.

Hewlett Packard now on my permanent "do not buy" list.......2005-12-09

My experience with HP products has been pretty dismal. My hopes for better results with a fancier model were dashed when my HP 6122 stopped communicating with my Mac. The local computer repair shop charges $70 for a diagnostic look, applicable to the repair. Unfortunately for me, the defective USB connector in the printer cannot be obtained. I guess it was worth $70 to finally learn that HP printers are break-down, non-repairable crap.

As I've had two previous HP printers to die on me, it's three strikes and you're out, Hewlett Packard. I will not be pouring any more money down the HP sinkhole.

Hp Printer 6122.......2005-11-23

I wish I had researched this before I purchased this printer on Aug.4, 2004. Just out of
warranty after two months this printer is defective. Does the company care? Absolutely
not! My advice to anyone wanting to purchase a printer for their computer is to stay away
from HP Printers. Their service is also inferior and they have gone to hell in a basket. Do
they care about satisfying a customer? NO they do not, but then again we the people make
or break a company and in numbers we have power. It is high time that consumers start
realizing that just because HP had a good reputation in the past doesn't mean their quality
or service, holds true today.

MINE WAS A WORKHORSE FOR YEARS!.......2007-08-12

I've had my 1376 for years. Loved it. As long as I replaced it in the charger, I had many two and three hour conversations(and a couple of four hour calls!) with no battery fade. Sound quality both in and out was crisp and clear at all times. It stopped holding memory after five years so I finally replaced it with Uniden 1976, but the incoming voice quality is not as clear and precise as the 1376 so I am here at Amazon to get a new 1376.

Good product, but like most all portable phones these days - way to bulky--don't hang this on a wall - too bulky - you will bump into it and it looks out of place it is so bulky!

Great phone for the price.......2006-05-16

We got this phone several years ago when our last cordless died. When we got it, it came with a second handset and charger base that you can put anywhere, without needing a phone jack - very handy! We keep one upstairs and one downstairs, even though they do get switched quite a bit. There's a nice variety of ringtones and volumes, which is helpful. I like the "page" button to help locate a lost phone. We've had no static or lost calls, I have even used it in our backyard. The only place we don't get great sound is the basement. These phones have stood up to all kinds of abuse, including my baby using them as chew toys - still work great. We have had them at least 2 years, probably longer and haven't replaced either battery yet. We set them on the chargers at night, though occasionally they get left off until they beep from low battery.

An excellent value for the money.

bought this phone seeing the consumer reports best value.
it was pretty good for a year, now the sound quality is terrible and very staticy. so be prepared to replace it after a year, which isnt that terrible considering the price.

Inferior Quality.......2004-05-05

I am very disappointed in the quality of this model. I purchased two, and I'm returning both. Coverage is poor, and CID does not work in all outlets in my house. Very strange. Uniden customer service pretty much confirmed that this model isn't very good. I'm much more satisfied with my Panasonic. I'm going to order a couple more of them to replace the Unidens.
