I think this is a good printer, copier, fax. I have had HPs for many years. For what you pay, they are fine. I have no complaints. It is a little slow as a copier, but otherwise, I like it. If you want a faster, fancier, better copier-fax machine, pay the price.

Inexpensive and does the job!.......2007-09-21

I bought this machine a month ago for an extremely economical price. By the time I used up a gift certificate I had for $50 for taking surveys, used the $30 credit from Amazon for getting a credit card and I already had a printer cable - I only paid $19 for this machine!!

It prints pretty well. I have a color laser at home and the quality of this machine compared the laser is pretty close! It scans pretty well with a lot of options and it shuts down much quicker than most machines after it's finished printing.

It's worth the money - even if it's $99 ;-).

I'm very disappointed to see that the printer comes without a USB cable. There's also no information about about what type of USB cable must be purchased. I can't use my printer until I figure this out.

Value for Money.......2007-09-20

I was looking for a reasonably inexpensive all-in-one printer - under 100 USD. Looked at a few of them; 5610 looked like a good bet. This is pretty much a classic HP product. It worked out of the box. Reasonably good work horse. They claim 13 color ppm; I think I am seeing a throughput close to it. Scanner is working fine; Copier seems to be slightly slower - may be this is normal for most all-in-ones. In the final analysis - this is a good buy.

Great value and free shipping. However, it is a bit slower than my HP6210 which bit the dust -- hence why I bought a new one. But for the $$$, it is a good deal.

It dies after less than 2 years........2007-08-24

I helped my friend to set up this printer when she first got it. The set up is a smooth one, and it worked ok. But after lightly usage for less than 2 years, it just died. I brought it to the printer maintenance shop, and the technician commented this particular HP model is known to have the problem with its main board. He's run into quite a lot of them died of the main board. Of course, it's not worthwhile to replace the main board cause it costs US$80, about the same price my friend paid for the AIO itself.

Lost driver- help!.......2007-08-19

Good printer... but... I lost the driver CD and want to install to another computer. Please tell me where I can get the driver for Win 98 system. HP website says they don't have it. Thanks jpmacaroni-at-hotmail.com

Great little machine!.......2007-07-19

WOW! For the money, this little printer-fax-scanner-copies is a real jewel and a workhorse. I've used mine for a lot of printing more than anything else, and it has never let me down. I recommend it to anyone.

Not worth the aggravation.........2007-06-09

I own this printer a little over a year and regret the purchase. It paper jams regularly as does the printer cartridge. I cannot print more than a page or two without it jamming. It requires constant attention and a print job that should take 5 minutes can take as long as half an hour given all the fits and starts. I doubt the repair is worth the price so we will be purchasing a new, better one.

I don't know if it's because of the software cd that comes with the printer for installation, or if it's just a plain bad model but I've had problems with this all in one printer since I first bought it...It wouldn't print and so I send it back and HP did actually send me a whole new one in return, but then that one had problems functioning also...in the end I can't print with it though I already exchanged it for a new one once before.
