This cartridge is ok as long as nothing you print with it ever comes into contact with water or moisture. I have a 385 Photo printer and even after the photos are long dried, the slightest moisture or water ruins the picture instantly. Not good HP. Time to re-engineer this cartridge with smudge/water-proof ink like others have done.

I have an HP Photo Deskjet which uses this cartridge. It is fast, prints nice photos as well as cards, banners, etc., and lasts longer than other cartridges I have used with other printers.
* No clogging problems.
* I haven't had any smearing.
* Easy to install.
* Refill kits are available.

It is a good cartridge...and the best price I have found is on Amazon.

it really is a shame that amazon doesn't allow you to award 0 stars to a product. There is printer is inexcusably bad. As others have mentioned, it doesn't suck up paper properly, it sometimes randomly shuts off, and the print quality isn't great either. I will never buy another HP product again.

Same here - will not GRAB photo paper........2007-07-30

Like many others I bought this printer because I wanted to make good A3 prints for display. For the first 6 months it worked without a hitch (Dell PC). After that it started misfeeding paper - especially shiny photo paper - which is exactly what I bought it to print!!
Now it will only grab the cheapest quality paper - anything with even a slight shine just will not go through. I have tried cleaning the rollers and all the 'fluffed up' areas inside the machine, but all to no avail.
This was not a cheap printer, and I have to say I would think long and hard before buying any printer from HP again.
It rates 2 stars, because it was OK in the beginning, and it will still print 'ordinary' paper, but nothing more because I now have to buy another printer to do my A3 photos!

Will not work with photopaper.......2006-12-18

I bought this printer because I needed 11x17 capability and it is doing great for that. However, trying to print on photo paper is an incredibly frustrating experience. The feed rollers appear to have difficulty pulling the paper in. 8 1/2 x 11 sheets will cut of the first inch or so and smaller, photo size cards will not print at all.

solid quality and performance........2006-08-14

I am also using the 1220c with Mac OSX. I haven't had the problems mentioned in the other reviews. This machine still looks and performs great after a few years. As a graphic designer, it's important to have my proofs look nice. The 11x17 capability is an excellent feature. I have used the printer for everything from photos to school papers - envelopes, brochures, invoices... It's simply a reliable machine. For the features, it's not very expensive. Paired with some quality paper, you can produce some top-notch pieces.

Worst printer ever made........2004-07-13

You do not want this printer. Paper pickup is unpredictable, color image is poor (even with new cartridges), and it occassionally just shuts OFF.

I chose the VTech 2961 because I had used the VTech brand before and was pleased with its reception. This particular phone has many features and a great answering machine. Unfortunately, the signal fades during conversation frequently enough to be annoying. I do not recommend this phone.

This is one of the best phones we've had so far. Granted, the voice quality has a little static without the antenna fully extended. But, I haven't found any other cordless phone that doesn't suffer from a problem of this kind.

The battery holds the charge well, it lasts a long time away from the base, I can wander over to my neighbors and keep talking, and the physical construction quality is surprisingly good considering the price. I think the Siemens [dollar amount] phone system feels more fragile than this phone.

All in all, I think this phone is a good buy; I'm thinking about buying another one.

Just the facts: A) the handset has a very uncomfortable feel to it, making a long chat very irrating B) I returned my first under warranty because there would be breaks where I heard nothing, the replacement ended up doing the same thing, sounds like you are using a cell phone, the co. blamed it on interferrance but none of my other cordless models do this and they are much older C) The digital answering machine message sounds awful. The message is often garbled and unclear making it sound like a worn out tape model. D) I'm replacing it!

Two problems. First off the sound quality is low even when the handset is right next to the base. People I was talking to kept asking me to speak up, and I had to say "excuse me" all the time to get them to repeat something I couldn't hear. But the real big problem was: whenever my printer would warm up from powersave mode, the phone would reset! I never experienced that problem with any other telephone or electrical device. So this phone was unusable to me.
