Just great!! Set it up exactly as the installation instructions indicated and was up and printing in 15 minutes. The wireless capabiliites are great for printer placement and for multiple users. Fast laser quality.

Tip: set printer on ink saver if you want to extend the life of the laser cartridge. Quality is still very good!!

Replaced an aging HP LaserJet 4MP, which was a tank that worked reliably for many, many years. This new one has a smaller footprint and a clean look, is really fast and much quieter, and creates sharper prints. Wireless was totally easy to set up with our Linksys router. Super easy to insert the cartridge. All around, a very nice design. Perfect for our home office, and nice to be able to easily print from my work laptop as well.

the wireless is hard to use. and the printer is very expensive for what it does, poor value overall. we replaced it with the brother mfc 8660N, which for the same price is a scanner that can scan to email, a copier with feeder, a fax machine and an excellent network printer.

Easy to setup out of the box and worked like a charm on first try. Form factor was smaller than I visualized it to be. I did notice that it is a little loud when it's actually printing, but then again, printing is not an on-going process for me.

The Toshiba M655 is an easy-to-use VCR that combines advanced features and superior performance at a reasonable price. It has a sleek, gray exterior that will fit into any home-entertainment system, but it is the interior design that makes this unit a winner.

The M655 contains V3 pro-drum technology, which offers video-head architecture comparable to that used in professional broadcast equipment. The V3 combines the preamplifier with the video-head cylinder, which eliminates unnecessary wiring that can introduce "noise" into the audio and video. We noticed a sharp picture and clear audio in both recorded TV programs and prerecorded videocassette movies.

We were impressed with the speedy but silent rewind and fast-forward; it took us about 90 seconds to rewind a two-hour tape to the beginning. The comfortable and ergonomically designed universal remote control is also a winner; you can program this device to control your TV set. The remote also contains an audio-control button that enables one-button access to various sound preference options, including mono, second audio program (SAP), and stereo reception.

Although it was only a minor annoyance, we found the auto-setup process to be much slower on the M655 than on other units. We waited for about two minutes while the auto-scan feature scanned station by station to look for active channels. However, the M655 does have a simple on-screen menu system that uses clear icons to help users navigate through all of the available options. After setup, the VCR performed flawlessly.

After reading the mixed reviews on this VCR (some say it's wonderful; others claim it eats tapes), I decided to purchase it since it was potentially a great value. Big mistake. This VCR ate the first 2 tapes it was fed. I will be returning it, and trying something with a better track record.

Well, I read the reviews, and ought to have listened a bit harder. No question that the VCR is a bargain and perhaps I and the other negative reviewers got duff machines, but this one ate a tape within the first hour of play. I am returning it today, sadly, and will check out other Amazon electronics. I have to say that I have never had a bad experience with Amazon with anything except one bad CD and don't blame them in the slightest. I think that perhaps one gets what one pays for?

Even a blind man............2000-08-11

We have a home recording studio and this vcr has been one of our lastest purchases...My husband (who is really blind) set it up and hooked it up to not one but two tv's and we are using it as a master in place of our broken reel to reel...Very little signal to noise..very clean picture and sound as sweet as analogue can get...really a good deal.........

Very disappointed. Problematic from the beginning. Terrible manual. Stopped halfway through a timed recording session. And worst of all - absolutely would not eject a tape. It took 20 minutes of effort to get the tape out - through a combination of pressing eject, shaking machine and trying to grab at tape before it was sucked back into chamber. Caveat emptor!
