And get ready for this one...on a standard T-120 tape you can record up to 960 hours of video! Use a T-160 tape and you can record a whopping 1280 hours on one tape! And you can play those back in the standard 120 or 160 minute modes! Things may tend to move a tad bit quick though! No problem, you can slow down the playback to the corresponding record time for real time images. And it gets even better! The CCT960 even records audio in the continuous modes. That's right, you can have up to 24 hours of color video and audio time lapse recording on one T160 tape! This is not a modified VHS VCR, but one made from the ground up for Time Lapse and security use. Heavy duty 4 Head DLC drum gives you increased head life for the continuous duty operations normally used with these units. On-screen menus provide full control and setup functions, and are accessed by the IR remote control included. You can program timed start and stop recording, or external alarm input recording.

The First Alert FTR960R 960-hour Time Lapse VCR is an advanced Video Cassette Recorder for use in most any surveillance or monitoring system. With 15 selectable recording modes, the FTR960R allows up to 960 hours of time-lapse recording on a standard t-120 tape. This unit features a carbon-coated drum that provides exceptional picture quality, an emergency back-up battery, and an alarm, panic, repeat and timer option. Complete with on-screen programming via remote control, the FTR960R can provide 24-hours of real-time recording with audio making it perfect for round-the-clock security-surveillance applications.

The First Alert FTR960R utilizes a four-head, two-video helical-scanning VCR head that provides 350 TVL (TV lines) of resolution in both black-and-white and color recording. This unit includes a built-in time-and-date generator, and contains a one-month battery backup power supply. The FTR960R also includes one alarm input/output connection, and uses a standard RCA A/V (audio/video) input connection. While the VCR runs on 100-volts with 24-watts of power consumption, the remote control operates on two (included) AAA batteries.

The Samsung SLV series of VCRs are the ideal products for time-lapse recording. The reliability and various functions of SLV series offer you a wide range of applications. Two or more SLV series VCRs can be cascaded via series In/Out connectors to extend the total recording time.The Samsung SLV-960 offers up to 960 hours recording on standard VHS tape with wide variety of recording modes. With program recording function, the user can preset to either weekly base or daily base. In weekly recording mode, 10 events a week can be programmed. Daily recording mode enables a recording to be made at everyday same time. By using Field recording/Field advanced playback functions, the user gets twice recorded information that can be attained with the conventional frame recording. When an alarm signal is received, the recording mode is automatically switched to 2H/L12H/L24H mode. During recording when the tape reaches at its end, it is automatically rewound to the beginning and the recording is re-started.
