Perfect mouse.......2007-02-14

I decided to buy this particular mouse because I got myself a new ThinkPad and wanted to have a mouse that "matched" my laptop in terms of appearance. I also wanted a smaller mouse for when I am on the road. What I received however was much more than that!
This mouse has been so far the best mouse I have ever used! It is small, so it feels a little bit strange in the beginning, but extremely precise and sensitive in its response to hand movements. I had read that after you get used to it then all other mouses seem unnecessarily big and bulky and I need to say that this is true. After using this mouse at home all other mouses I have used at work don't even come close! The material it is made from is also very nice, as it provides a very nice grip. As per the looks, the red-lighted scrolling wheel makes it just fantastic! Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and I strongly recommend it. Two thumbs up!

IBM 3-Button Travel Wheel Mouse .......2006-04-20

I borrowed a friend's IBM 3-Button Travel Wheel Mouse to use temporarily, while I set up my new computer. However, after only two days of using this mouse, I have grown to like it so much that today I ordered one for everyday use in my home office. As another reviewer noted, the mouse feels small when you first start using it, but now that I've become accustomed to it, I don't want to use any other mouse. Its smaller footprint (not quite 3.5 inches, as opposed to my 5-inch IntelliMouse) makes it especially comfortable for people with small palms. The tracking is very accurate on smooth, hard surfaces, the buttons work easily, and the suede-like texture makes it extremely comfortable to hold. Another reviewer mentioned that the mouse is not as quiet as they'd like it to be, but the one that I've been using is completely silent. This one is definitely a winner.

Although ackward in the beginning, once you try you won't want another mouse. I initially took one for my laptop and for travel but I eded up using it at home. I like the lided red wheel, the lightness and the small size of this comfortable mouse - also very precise and sharp. I'd give it 5 stars but I prefer 4 stars because it is not as quiet as I wished it would be. Also I give it a plus for the soft touch - it is covered with a special material.

Better off with another mouse.......2005-06-20

Normally I don't do reviews, however, this HP mouse has gotten on my last nerve! For some reason, the optics make the pointer "jump" sometimes when the system is "thinking". A lot of times I'll be playing a game, then suddenly it "jumps" to the corner (always a corner) and when I click it closes out the window! It happens constantly and I try to make sure that I know where the cursor (arrow) is before I click, but it shouldn't be that way. I'm currently looking for a non-optical mouse as I write this.

Connection would have been nice.......2007-08-20

I had all kinds of problem using this thing. All I wanted was the keyboard, but it didn't like my logitech wireless trackball. I ended up having to plug it into the keyboard port using a ps2 adapter (supplied). It worked for about 20 days. Now it won't connect, or when it does it disconnects within minutes. I've changed the batteries and tried usb ports again, and nothing.
I'll liked logitech wireless keyboards before but this has been a bitter experience. Now I'm back to el-cheapo wired keyboard.

Junk.......2007-05-01

If I could've given this a half a star, I would've. The only reason for the half star would be that the mouse hasn't quit on me yet. I bought this on a Friday and the keyboard quit working on me on Sunday. I changed batteries and tried resetting, and NOTHING. I finally managed to call Logitech, and after almost 2 hours on the phone with them, the best advice they could ofer was to take it back and exchange it for another one.. YEAH RIGHT !!!! Like I would buy this piece of junk again. Although the mouse is still working, it is and has been very touchy. It's too sensitive, and there's nothing I can do about it. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.. Well, maybe I would..

Nice upgrade purchase for my system.......2007-01-22

Pros: Keyboard and mouse design are excellent. Bought product to match Samsung LCD I purchased over Christmas. Did not have to load CD SW for XP to recognize KB/Mouse. Transmitter matches and sits on LCD stand and is almost invisible to the eye. I have not had battery problems with either unit so far. Use my computer for a couple of hours a day, original batteries are still in use after 2 weeks. No lag with either keystrokes or mouse cursor movements. Best of all, no wires. Would have rated it 5 stars but for the con below.

Cons: The mouse started to "squeek" after a couple of days. I didn't realize what other reviewers were talking about until my mouse actually did it. It sounds like a slight plastic on plastic sound. It did bug me after a while so, I carefully opened the mouse, and put some 3-in-one oil from the inside on the square left and right clicking posts and re-assembled unit. Be carefully to keep the bottom part of the mouse upright so the springs on the wheel stay in place. I had to put the mouse wheel assembly back together when I turned the bottom portion upside down, not a big deal when I figured how to put the things back in after a few minutes. No more squeeking has occurred since I lubricated the right and left clicking portion on the side of the mouse.

Not Happy With This Item.......2007-01-12

This keyboard has small keys and doesn't stand up enough. It worked fine but I wasn't comfortable with it. The legs that make it stand are not high enough and I don't like typing with a flat keyboard. Didn't like the feel of the keys either. Like I said, it worked just fine with no problems but the feel of it wasn't what I wanted. Just not happy with it.

Perfect Keyboard for everyday use.......2007-01-05

This keyboard just plain works...we use them in our home office...great for working at the kitchen table, etc.

The keys have just the right amount of sound and feel...not mushy and not silent...if you like a no noise keyboard, don't get this one. I like the sound feedback...

Good battery life--usually a couple months...depends on use, but the keyboard lasts twice or three times as long as the mouse...the mouse is emitting the laser...it takes more power...

Excellent mouse for the average user........2007-09-14

I have had this mouse for a few months now and I am completely pleased with it. The response is excellent and has very fluid movement. The only problem I have with it is the range. My mouse sits on top of my tower when I use it, and for some reason that cuts the range down drastically. If I set it anywhere else the range is perfectly fine. This mouse take 2 AA batteries, and I noticed that when I take one of them out, the mouse still works! I find it very odd, but beneficial if I only have one battery lying around when I need a new one. Overall, this is a great mouse for someone who doesn't care about all the frills of expensive mouses. I recommend it to anyone.

Do not buy.......2007-05-21

Wife bought me this product to use worked fine for about a month. Then it started quiting after looking up some information on the net i came to the conclustion your money is better spent on a more expensive mouse since this mouse will not last you out. Evenually i figured to remove the cover from the reciver. Doing this offered me the ablitiy to atleast temporatly use the mouse, but considering what i know form electronices a small thin piece of plastic should not make that much of a differance. It is a very bad mouse and if another similer mouse cost 5 dollors more just pay the 5 dollars for a better mouse. This is the worest mouse i have ever purchased.

Fixed my wheel.......2007-01-08

The mouse is pretty normal, and inexpensive. The mouse is small for my XL hand size. I didn't like the remote receiver configuration, should have gotten one for a laptop. I totally didn't like the intermittent wheel operation. At first I thought it was my system or the internet. Then I read some reviews here. I took the mouse apart and cleaned the optical device (with the bottom of my t-shirt) and it is working fine now.

Drives you nuts.......2006-12-09

The scroll wheel has such a bad lag time in responding I disabled vertical scrolling altogether! This mouse is driving me nuts.

And yes, I did take apart and apply said 'fix' for the wheel. Alas, it didn't work very well.

Nothing but problems.......2006-10-27

I have now used this mouse for two days. It works perfectly for a while, then starts moving on its own all over the screen, clicking away. It opens programs, closes programs, opens and closes dropdowns, etc. Fascinating to watch, like my computer is possessed, but not something I want in a mouse. I am sending the dang thing back. I don't mind worrying about what my puppy is doing when my back is turned, but I can't worry about what my computer is doing when my back is turned.

Wireless freedom from your wired mouse.......2006-12-15

I've owned a Mouse Bungee for years, and wouldn't give it up for anything.

Amazon doesn't have a picture, but it consists of a weighted base (plastic with a large ball-bearing enclosed in it for heft) with two thin parallel springs extending out at a 45deg angle. In between the springs is a plastic clip.

The mouse cord runs up the Bungee's base (there's a friction-fit groove there), between the springs, and then through the clip. This suspends the cord about 4 inches or so above the mouse pad. You simply pull enough through to give you access to the whole pad, and push it into the groove to hold it tight. Your mouse sits under a little curly-queue of cord that, given enough length, doesn't drag or create any resistance. The springs are strong enough to hold the cord up with no issue, but if you happen to get the cord a little short, they'll flex to let you reach the sides of the pad.

Like I said, I love this thing. I don't have to deal with batteries or wireless refresh rate issues in gaming, and my mouse is completely comfortable to use. I honestly forget the cord's there.

The only con is that the Mouse Bungee requires around a 5"x3" space behind your mouse pad to sit, and it's a little too heavy and bulky for portable laptop use. These are small prices to pay for something that works far better than any "mouse clip" I've ever used.

Hello everyone. I have been using this camera for close to 1 year. I think i can tell you all a bit about it.

Good:
1. It is very lightweight
2. It has a stylish front
3. When it every single setting is correct according to the environment you are in, it will take good shots. just good, not great.

Bad and Ugly:
1. battery life is so poor that it will leave you poor. Only about 18 shots per 4 AAA batteries.

2. Mediocre performance with photos

3. No optical zoom, digital zoom is no good!

4. tiny space for pictures. 8 at highest resoloution and a max of about 45 at very low resolution.

5. Hardly works with poular compact flash cards...only uses prpiretary ones. I tried sharing compact flash cards and it would not allow you to.

pverall it is a good camera is you want a fancy looking device. But for a digital camera, i rate it poorly.

Paid just over a $100.00 for this 2.1 megapixel camera and its terrific.Very easy to use,great features for this price range.

I got this camera with an Amazon.com Gift Certificate. This is a great starter camera. Easy to use. Easy to download pictures. The software that comes with it makes all pictures look clear and focused. Uses 4-AAA batteries, that you will be buying a lot of. Overall, a great buy for any digital camera looker. If you are looking for a nice camera, at a low price, look no further.

Bad warranty.......2003-08-16

Check the warranty on this camera. Argus demands $$$$ be included when you return a defective camera in the fine print under the warranty. When you go to return a defective camera they increase the return to $$$. Not a good way to run a company. I would never buy an Argus product again.

Argus 3550 ...Excellent Buy.......2003-07-30

I picked up an Argus 3550, which is the zoom version of the 2 megapixel camera, .... It was on sale ... I figured at this price I'd surely be dissapointed as the quality surely was not any good.

But was I wrong. I've owned several digital cameras including the two Olympus, two Cannon's one Nikon and my current Canon D-60. This camera really surprised me, especially for the value and surprising reasonable picture quality. Battery life with 4-AA rechargeable Ni-mh batteries has been as good as my Nikon 950. Picture quality is good; surprisingly good. ...The downloads from the camera to my PC have gone very easily as the camera was instantly recognized by my XP machine at home. I've not bothered using the onboard software as XP can handle photos fine.

I had a week to make up my mind if I wanted to keep the camera, and the decision is quite easy - it is a keeper. This is an inexpensive good camera and will make a good gift for my son who is off to college this fall.
