Good, convenient way to use your cellphone.......2005-12-20

I have used this headset with Nokia 6620 as well as Nokia 3300 and they work well. The sound is very clear, while I have never used a volume setting above 3 bars (has 7 bars available).

However, sometimes they do not pair well with my device, so I have to turn them off-on in order to work.

I have also used them with my laptop, and the sound is great! As for range, I would say that I never had a problem as long as I was within 20 feet. However, if you use them in the house, walking from room to room, pairing will get lost.

Have also recently the BT-250v but they did not work as well. A lot of chatter and too much background noise, although I was testing them inside my apt, without any noise at all.

Jabra improves on the convenience of cell phones.......2005-12-05

I recently upgraded my cell phone with Verizon's "New every two" program. I added the Jabra BT250V and I love it.

I have Motorola's E815 and the pairing was hassle free. Any name on my contact list on my phone can be accessed by voice command. I didn't have to create "voice tags." For me, I pressed the "mult-function" button, a voice responds through the Jabra, "Say a command." I simply said, "Call Wife." My phone immediately recognized my command and connected me with my wife.

Another benefit, besides the obvious convenience and safety of handsfree dialing, is that I can hear the phone better. I use to practically shove the phone into my ear and still couldn't hear very well. Now, the Jabra hangs loosely on my ear and I can hear great. If I'm having a hard time hearing, I just push the earbud into my ear. I wear my Jabra all day long - about 12+ hours and I hardly notice it.

The BT250V has vibration alert, but I turned it off after a few days. I also have my phone set to answer automatically, so I don't have to do anything, just say, "hello."

I leave it on every night and it seems to hold a charge for about three days. The Jabra I have now is actually a replacement. The first one quit pairing with my phone after a week. This one has been working great for about a month.

The only complaints I have is that I bought mine through Verizon (their insurance plan covers the phone and one accessory according to customer service) and paid twice what I could've gotten one off of ebay for. Also, it took quite a while to get used to the loose feeling it has hanging on my ear. It has never fallen off, but I felt like it should fit more snugly. It comes with two different styles of silicone ear buds - two short ones and two long ones. Memory foam ear buds might be nice?

Overall, I'm very happy with the freedom, convenience and safety of my Jabra and I think you'll be happy, too.

Update: May 1, 2006

If you have trouble with your Jabra pairing with your phone, try plugging it into the Jabra charger and unplugging it. This has never failed to correct a pairing problem for me. I discovered this after returning one Jabra BT250. After using it for nearly five months I am very happy with it.

I bought this BT200 for my Nokia 3660...the reason being i'm fed-up with nokia's HDW-2...3hr talk time promised,but didn't come up to the promise.PERIOD
Then i was tempted to changed to the HDW-3(with 5 hrs talktime)..but it blew me off with the price...
Then bump into this so called renown Jabra for the PERFECT earpiece...it took me awhile to think about it...so i bought it...it was really great...i could talk through walls....it was even more than 10 meters that i had talked once...but one sad day...i bumped into my friend and it fell,it was making attitudes(getting soft on the volume,frequent dropped calls) to me after that...i went back to jabra...told them some grandpa&tales stories and they changed it for me(2nd headset)....but the second set was a failure...it was static all the way...dropped calls and it kept asking for my password...then i went again....got another one changed fer me again(3th headset).....this time everythings perfect except that its having high levels of static with my 3660....
Disappointed..i went back again(4th headset)...this time they gave me a PERFECT ONE....no Cons at all!

It took me to changed it 3 times before i got to the PERFECT one...so in total,i tested 4 headset fer JABRA.....

I gave a 5 star for the services that Jabra Personnel gave me...
And 5 stars for the last PERFECT Bluetooth headset they gave me....

Overall i'm satisfied...No battery problems fer me....i charge it everyday....Sound quality is V.GOOD,rare static case,good reception fer my voice fer the other party to hear...and you can wear it and forget about it!Till i nearly wore it in my helmet!

Cellphone give me headaches, I talk allot, this thing, sits in your ear, and when you do it right, it puts no pressure on any parts of you ear. one time i was talking with this girl in the handsfree in my bed, i talked for like3/4 hours, eventually i hung up, and forgot to take it off before i went to sleep, thats how comfy it is. anwyay, long story short, i wear this thing in my car, and at home, but not in public, its too futuristic and i think anybody standing next to me yakking away on this thing is a jerk, and i dont want to be a hypocrit ;)

battery life is great, as long as you don't leave it for long periods turned on, turn it off because else it will roam and waste battery

Best heaset on the market.......2004-10-29

Long known for their innovative and diverse headsets, the BT200 FreeSpeak is their first Bluetooth headset (www.jabra.com). This is the oddest headset you will ever see. At first, it's difficult to picture how it goes on your ear. You quickly get past this, however, and find that the Jabra goes on with just one hand. This is the most comfortable headset I have ever used, and even did some handyman work around the house for a few hours with it on, and hardly noticed it was there. The ergonomics are excellent, and the sound quality is good, with adjustable volume controls. The FreeSpeak supports the Hands-Free Bluetooth profile, and all the features, like voice dialing, work. The downside is that it takes about five seconds after you turn it on before it connects with the Nokia 3650. This is a problem with the Nokia, though, as other phones are much quicker, like the Motorola V600. After a few minutes of non-use, the 3650 will cut the connection, and you'll have to re-establish it to use the headset. There is no such problem with the V600. The V600 has it's own set of problems, though, like causing a crackling noise in the FreeSpeak. It's the V600, because you don't hear it with other phones. I quickly got used to it, but you'll have to determine how great an issue this is for you. You can leave the FreeSpeak on all day, as the standby time is rated at 96 hours, and typical talk time is 3 hours. Be sure to get a car charger, which is now easily and inexpensively available on ebay. Be aware that the lithium polymer battery is not user replaceable, and you have to return it to the factory after the battery finally dies in about two years. The non-replaceable battery is the only thing I didn't like about the Jabra BT200.

Worth Every Penny!!.......2004-08-01

I have been using my jabra freespeak for almost 3 months now and have been nothing but impressed with it. I can leave my phone on my desk, walk across the room, and still hear with perfect clarity (NOKIA 3650). I never got out the measuring tape, but it's minimally 20 feet away that I've gone. Can't walk out of the room, though.
I have long hair, so I just tuck the little guy underneath my hair and it stays put for hours- unlike regular hands free units that fall out the minute my hair falls across the wire, or as soon as I turn my head too far one way or the other. And the little ear buds are interchangeable so you can find one that fits comfortably. Battery life is excellent, and I can interchange my cell phone's charger with the jabra, so I charge my freespeak in the car when I need to as well.
There isn't one thing I can honestly say I do not like about this device. I can recommend it with a sincere 5 stars.

Not As Good As Claimed.......2004-07-29

I bought this with the Motorola V600 flip phone.
Bad Comments First; Doesn't work to 30 feet as claimed in Ads.
I am lucky to get 3 feet before static. If I have phone on belt and headset in ear = STATIC. Line of sight as in my truck and 3 feet away is OK. If Bluetooth head set is active, and incoming call, phone doesn't ring at phone, only rings at headset which must be in ear to hear it = Many lost calls. Takes time to link up. If you get 15 t0 30 feet away, Bluetooth connection is lost and you have to relink it to phone. Too many aggrivating nuancices to list.
The good comments; Unit does fit in ear well and comfortable.
When used at short distances and at mostly line of sight it performs well and is better than a wired ear bud. If you can stand all the shortcomings that this product (like so many High Tech products seem to develop after you buy them) has, then it may be better than nothing. Good luck.

This printer has been performing like a charm for about a year now. I suspected that it would, since I had great luck with a Brother MFC-P2000 years earlier.

This is an EXCELLENT printer! It never jams or curls the paper. I can send document after document double-sided and am extremely pleased with the print quality. I consistely print books from 150-350 pages at one time. It was extremely easy to install to both my laptops as well. I highly recommend this printer!

Great features, great value.......2005-11-01

You can't beat the 5150D for value. For under $300, you get a very fast printer that duplexes (can print on both sides of the paper). It starts up quick, and prints crisp text and decent graphics. The driver allows you to print multiple pages on the same sheet, print watermarks etc. I've been using it for moderate office use for a few months have have loved it. It does eat toner quickly, so be sure to have an extra toner cartridge on hand. Highly recommend!

Excellent and great value for money.......2005-10-10

There were some installation issues. The instructions didn't install the printer poperly on my laptop (t40 with xp). I solved the problem in the end though so it was a minor irritation. Other than that, excellent print quality and great speed. Amazing value for an auto duplex printer!

Addition: I decided to wait a while before commenting on the curling issue. I have never had any paper curling problems thus far. The printer curls paper just as much as most other entry level lasers, which is mimimal and normal. And I am using cheap paper too. Plus, the 1200 dpi function really churns out much better printouts for that additional professional look when needed!

Nice quality print but WAY too much curling.......2005-10-09

Overall this printer provides nice crisp copies, but the incessant paper curling has convinced me not to buy another Brother laser printer. Any document more than 5 pages will end up either a jumbled mess, on the floor, or jammed in the printer. I'm just glad to see others have had the same problem and that it's not just me. I will go back to Samsung printers (I own a ML-1450 which I love).
