I bought this to replace a Belkin that would not interface with my car stereo well. This one from XtreamMac worked better. The video out is a nice touch but I will never use it as I don't have video in my car. The cable going up to the iPod is a nice heavy one. The black finish of the connector also complements the iPod but does scrach easily. I would have liked to have seen the same pause feature in this cable like Belkin had. The Belkin would send the iPod to pause when power was lost. Would recommend this to anyone who has trouble with using the Belkin.

When I had my Ipod Mini, I used an FM transmitter that would always sound dreadful whenever it went over a certain volume, and not that great when it was underneath it. When I got my Nano, I was astounded by the prices of FM transmitters. I purchased this to be economical and was amazed...the sound quality is not full of static and you don't have to search endlessly for an empty station, the single wire is thin and long enough that you can easily find somewhere to plop down your mp3 player, and well...look at the price. A really good find, in my opinion. FM transmitters are junk!

I drive a 2004 camry that came with a JBL 6 disc changer with tape deck. I have never used the tape deck and was surprised that it came with it. In 2005 I purchased an ipod and have been slowly moving my CD collection to it. I have always used the ipod at home and the gym. Finally after lugging around cds to listen to in the car, I decided to try an adaptor. I had been staying away from these because I feared a loss of quality in the audio. After researching, I new I had to stay away from the FM type, but did not know what kind of cassette adapter to use. I came across this item on an ipod accessory website and the reviews were overall very good. So, I searched for a good price and ended up here.

There were no real instructions with the unit so I just put it in the deck, connected it to the ipod and away we went.

Perfect sound. No distortion, tape hiss, etc. I would highly reccomend this item.

worked great for one month , then quit working, the auto reverse function on my cassette deck started switching the tape to side 2 ,which doesn't work. That is the side other users reported faint sound with static.

This product works well. I live in the Chicago area where radio stations abound and I was able to make it work immediately. The sound is not going to be perfect has if your ipod was hardwired into your car's sound system, but it's sufficient. I'm pleased.

The item came very quickly and I have no complaints with that at all. I am told that I paid a great price for it and I am very happy with that as well. I just can't seem to get it to work. I call this worth it.......2007-07-24

I just got this yesterday, and after extensive driving around listening to it, I can recommend it. It's easy to use and it's got a good sound, and it works just fine with my Walkman E003 (except that the cradle doesn't fit it). My only regret is that the plug for the lighter is fixed to the device by a rotating hinge joint, where I would have preferred a cord for more flexibility of placement. Still, I am very pleased with the item.

I recieved this monitor as a gift. I couldn't be more satisfied with it. I just love it. It has a great feature...a button that automatically adjusts the screen so that you don't have to hassle with horizontal/vertical position and size. It does that for you. I am absolutely thrilled with this monitor and it's definitely worth the money. Don't contemplate - just buy it.

A good price for an excellent monitor.......2005-01-05

Okay, I will admit first off that I am new to LCD monitors. So if I love this monitor, it is partly because I had grown used to the relatively soft-focus images of CRTs, and now I'm absolutely delighted with the clarity of this one, no doubt due to the one-to-one mapping between pixels in the image and pixels on the screen, as long as you stay at native resolution. I'm sure I could get an absolutely crystal-clear image with a DVI signal, if only I had a video card with the capabilities. Flatness and light weight are only good things, too. For these reasons alone, I would recommend LCDs to most people who are willing to spend a little more.

However, beyond the mere fact of its being LCD, this monitor is also inexpensive. And very bright, much more so than most CRTs I've seen. For those of us using analog input, the auto-adjust feature works nicely, given an appropriate calibration pattern. Windows users can run the little program included on the CD-ROM, while we Linux users can easily create something (alternating black and white 1-pixel stripes are what you need, and for perfect positional alignment, make sure all the edges are bright). And though there are LCDs with a response faster than this one's typical 25 ms, I find it barely noticeable most of the time.

I like black. It blends nicely into the dark background at my desk. Plus, it just looks cool.

In short, if you don't mind paying a bit more, dump your CRT and get this monitor: I highly recommend it!

You get what you pay for.......2004-12-28

I saw this monitor in my local flyer for a very low price (with all the rebates and all) and decided to get two to replace my current 17" LCD + 17" CRT combo. I thought that a 25ms response time will be sufficient (my older LCD was 20ms and I had no problems with ghosting in games or anything else)...the 25 ms is horrible...I think its actually worse than that. When I opened up the task manager, the green background grid flickered every time it moved...dragging broswer windows with gray content is painful...and games, well, just forget about it. This monitor has awful ghosting. And another annoyance: in the OSD settings there is a choice between D-Sub or DVI, but the monitor doesn't have a DVI port...not impressed at all, will return these tomorrow and get something more expensive but more pleasant to look at.

Cannot beat this for the price.......2004-12-27

Excelent monitor for the price. I purchased this as a second monitor for my home PC and was very happy with the quality and image. Originally I had planned on using this only for email and web browsing, but now may replace my Sony CRT and purchase another one of these. Bluring is pretty minimal, but the monitor does have a 25ms refresh so I would not reccomend this for a hardcore gamer.

All in all an excellent value.
